I don't think we will ever see Designer Princes...they are just not marketable like the Princesses are. I could see them maybe doing sets with couples...but I don't think they would do anything "designer" with just Princes.

I would love for them to do the Princesses in different decades...like 20's "flapper" outfits, 50's full skirts, 40's pin-up style, etc.

I also like Merryweather's idea of Designer Christmas Princesses.

Okay... I was the person Merry Wether offered to sell her pins to. And I recall the offer being The Designer Princess pins without Ariel originally but then asked if I would still buy without Rapunzel too. So maybe it was not clear in that aspect. I hope that clears some things up but in the end Merry Wether has every right to ask whatever she wants for her pins but the thing that bothers me is when people complain about people asking so much for pins when they also ask for what the going rate is for the pins. I wish every person the best of luck on their pins and trading. No hard feelings with Merry Wether at all I think people are just upset and sensitive about the asking and trading the designer villains are going for. I get it. I do. I hope everyone gets the pins they need and wish for.

Heroines - yay! I do think they (Disney) missed out - why didn't they do 10 designer villains/villainesses like they did the 10 designer princesses?

Designer Princesses and their Villains/Villainesses

Mulan = Shan Yu
Belle = Gaston (?) - or it could have been the witch who turned the Prince into a Beast - ooh, that would have been nice
Rapunzel = Mother Gothel - check
Pocahontas = Ratcliffe
Aurora = Maleficent - check
Cinderella = Lady Tremaine - hey, they missed a girl!
Jasmine = Jafar
Snow White = Evil Queen - check
Ariel = Ursula - check
Tiana = Facilier

So, of the 10 designer princesses, we got 4 matching designer villainess and 1 missed villainess (possibly 2 if they could have done the witch in Beauty & the Beast).

See if they are going to do pins for the guys, they should be GQ pins, not Designer. Like put all the Princes and Heroes in nice suits or something. And the same thing for the guy villains. I want something Designer to come out purely because I want something that I can trade down the line for Designer Ursula or Ariel in all honesty lol

However, the problems I see with the Designer Princes is that women have many options when it comes to different types of dresses, that is what made each and every villianess and princess unique. However with princes, you couldn't do all tuxes because that would be quite boring. It would be cool if they took the culture into account like that person posted a picture earlier and Aladdin was wearing an Indian wedding outfit (I don't recall what it is called). I'm sure they could also think of something for Shan-Yu, however I think it might get difficult when you get to Prince Phillip, Eric, Charming, etc. because for the most part, they'd be wearing variations of the tux which would end up looking kind of similar I would think outside of color scheme. I'm not as creative as some of these pin designers are, but if they can't come up with something extremely different for each and every one of them, they may just move to Designer Male Villains or something if they choose anything designer at all.

Does NO ONE ELSE want designer Jessica Rabbit - no one ?!?! I was reading on Disney's blog it takes 18 months from creation to finish, so this means there is another series by now in the making. And we have to factor that whatever Designer Pins they make, other merchandise and dolls will be made to go along with them. If they were doing Designer Series Pins as a stand alone, they could do Anything really.

My thought other than Designer Leading Ladies was maybe Designer Fairies? Tink, Blue Fairy, Flora, Fauna, Merryweather, Fairy Godmother. The only problem with that is while it would look cool, the last few would be made to look thinner and probably younger in the Designer doll form. But as pins, they wouldn't need to change them. I thought maybe they could do Tink's new fairy friends but I don't know how popular they are.

Designer Prince pins could work - as dolls though, I don't see that happening. If they don't Have to have dolls and merchandise to match, who says the Designer line can't only be pins for some characters.

I really think whatever line is next, there is gonna be a Tinker Bell doll. We're a year away from it and I already want to know :anxious:

Oh! That's great thinking... I can see the designer Fairies Pixie hollow collection. That is VERY popular right now... they have like 5 movies, and the newest one is going to be in theaters. If Disney wants to make some hard cash... that's what's gonna do it, imo. I even enjoyed the first Tinkerbell movie.

I love Ariel's sisters too! I feel like Disney could start another franchise similar to the Disney Fairies with them...and give them all different talents/personalities. I could see it being very popular.

I think they will likely do Designer Leading Ladies and include Merida in the next batch as an extra princess. I'd love for Queen Elinor to be included too.
