Princess Sofia !!!

Isn't she cute?? It was on The Wright Stuff (Show in the UK) this morning in the newspapers apparently.

The debut film is called Sofia The First: Once Upon A Princess and will be aired in November.

She is very young compared to all the other Princesses we have seen before. I am not sure if I like the graphics much..

What does everyone else think??

I'm going to be very sad if she starts showing up on Disney merchandise with the other princesses before Merida :( Other than that, she's pretty cute
 
I didn't even know there was going to be a new Princess.
Though anyway, she's adorable!
 
She looks very cute and her dress is so pretty too. But, I think she looks more like a fairy than a princess maybe ?? And the big head and doe-eyed look reminds me a bit of Japanese cartoons.

Yeah, she is Disney Junior character but if she is popular, she might be made into a feature film princess. I guess only time will tell.

she makes her disney Jr debute here in the US this friday actually. It looks like a cute story line. I do not forsee them adding her to the main princess lineup right away, she is a DVD/TV princess not a feature film princess.
 
Does anyone watch or collect Sophia? I do and I love her show. It is very sweet and totally watchable for someone in their 20's (like me!) or older. I have almost every doll and action figure that is out so far, and I am looking into the pins right now. I have a bunch of stuff in the mail and I will post photos of my collection when it arrives, more is coming out in June.

Sophia is a "ratings monster" and her stuff frequently sells out of the Disney Store and DS.com. If you like her be sure to grab her merch when it is available because it will sell out ;)
 
I was soooooooooo excited for Sophia, but the shows are terrible! I'll stick with watching Jake & the Neverland Pirates. um, I mean, I'll stick with letting my daughter watch Jake. not me. I never watch it. alone. while she is napping. when I should be doing laundry. :suspect:

Me and my fellow both watch Jake on the Disney Jr. website and we don't have any kids yet. It's all good ;) It is especially fun because his name is Jake, and he would have loved the show as a kid. Sorry you don't like Sophia, I find the episodes to be much better than the film personally.

I will totally own up to the fact that I am obsessed with Sofia the First. I have both pins so far and once my DS gets the tiara and amulet in, I am shamelessly buying both for myself, because despite turning 26 next month, I am basically a six year old. I'm okay with it.

The dolls I passed on - the faces weren't quite right for me, but yeah, Sofia. Too cute!

The amulet is sold out online! It literally went up this morning, be sure to call your DS on their stock day because people are getting crazy for it; the tiara is still online. I was going to go to the store yesterday but didn't have time so I ordered mine this morning. Mattel also has some super cute figures coming out, there is already a lot in stock on toysrus.com.
