I know that we all have received these and I have had way worse offers but this one made me giggle.

Oh, yeah- pretty much a weekly thing for me. I can't even remember the most insane one, but often, it's the easiest pin on my Wants for any of my $100+ Disney Auction LE 100s (or my Jessica As stuff).

In fact, it stuns me when I get anything close to even. Been getting some good ones lately, but I tend towards multiple trades these days, due to post office fees, so I don't always accept. But it's nice to see even offers pop up.

What may seem like an unfair trade request, maybe fair in another's eyes. That is all. But I did get one for my WDI Sorcerer Hat - Happy New Year Big Al.
That pin isnt even for trade. They guy sent me a request: 3 hidden mickey's and an OE for another pin but he said in a side note he really wanted my Scorcerer Hat.

On a similar note, I am actually turning off my trade assistant for a while. So many TR's that are rediculous, plus I went waaaaaay overboard on shipping last month.

this mornings offers in my email:

A hidden mickey with scrap alerts for my DSUK Petes dragon.:eek2:

there were more, but those took the cake.

I've had plenty of these ridiculous ones too, and only a handful of perfect, very reasonable (and accepted) requests.

My question is, when you receive these...do you bother replying and trying to explain "You're way off", or just not answer?
 
I get them every day no one sees the value of a lot of pins sorry but edition size rarely cuts it for me I am cocnerned about monetary value especially for dlrp pin trading night pins as I pay the going rate for them or at least wants/trades ratios. Sadly I dont reply to silly requests any more

Dependiong on my mood, and how many emails I have to clear, and if my kids are crying or happy, AND if its the 5th day in a row I recieve the same request from the same person.....

Yes, I reply to a bad request, but I rarely go into why, unless it is the 5th(or 6th or 10th...) time I have gotten that request.

But lately, I just havent had the time or energy to reply to any TR's, fair or not.
 
Speaking of replying to pinpics requests, all you have to do is reply to the e-mail you get to respond to that person, right? Because numerous times I've replied to a request saying "Thank you but not interested at this time" or something along those lines, and yet I get the exact same trade request from the exact same person two more times over the course of the oncoming week. This has happened a few times which made me think replying to the pin request wasn't enough.
 
I will Admit I am one who is click happy sometimes. also sometimes my son gets on my pinpics and likes to just click away.. I feel you never know maybe other offers come in and all you have to do is hit deleate the message and keep going.
