BATB PODM // What's your biggest worry? How much would you spend on your grail scene?

Like and unlike some people, I don't live near Disneyland so I can't go to any releases especially the Beauty and the Beast PODM release that's coming out next month.

I'm terrified of the prices. Mulan pre-orders were around $50. I can already guess that the pre-orders for these babies start at $50 so it's only going to be crazier when the time gets closer. Scene prices? Probably going to be off the roof.

How much do you estimate pre-orders will be and the grail scene to be? I guess how much it'll sell for? How much will you be willing to pay for your BATB grail scene?


Someone is going to help pick a couple for me if they can and even though I can't be there, I'm worried for them about how insane it'll be. I think I'll be thankful to even get one, never mind one with a good scene! I can't be the only one who's worrying! Especially for those who are going!

So what's your biggest worry? And as silver lining, what would be the best scenario?


My biggest worry is that they're going to change the date and mess everything up! Best scenario is to get a good scene.. maybe a grail scene! :O
 
Biggest worry : Same - not getting one ! This is the dream release of all releases and I don't think I'm alone in thinking that ! :P

But I would happily spend up to $250 if it was THE SCENE OF ALL SCENES
 
I am not going to pre-sell or anything, but I hope to get a couple for trading purposes as I know how popular these will be. I'm just afraid that I will like them so much that I wont be able to let go of them...if I can even get them. Without knowing what scenes there will be...how would you pick a grail scene? There are just so many!

I've seen pre-orders at $55 + shipping. With pre-orders, I think you're going to get what you get. I hope they don't change the date of the release as I've already made plans for that day (to be at DLR with my sister as Beauty & the Beast is her primary collection). It's going to be crazy busy and I don't know if we will separate (LGM vs. Fly 'n Buy) or go to the same location. Still not sure....agh!
 
I dont want to promise anyome anything I know how crazy Tangled was and I think this one is going to be at the top with it or I am hoping that it is like TLM not that bad.
 
(To the OP, sorry for going off topic), but @kupo1121, probably Snow White, which in most cases sells for higher prices than Tangled PODM, except if it's a really awesome Tangled scene... also pretty high up is Peter Pan, esp. scenes with Tinker Bell! :)

Wow I have to say I'm kind of shocked Little Mermaid isn't up there since usually Little Mermaid is quite popular.

How many more PODMs are they releasing, does anyone know? After BatB of course.
 
I will be getting a total of four Beauty and The Beast PODM's. Two will be auctioned off here the same day to our DPF members. I am zapping one to a fellow DPF member if it is a scene with Belle and her father Maurice. Finally, I am hoping to keep one PODM.
 
Even though Beauty and the Beast is one of my all-time favorite Disney movies, I don't really collect BATB pins, and I don't collect PODMs at all, so... I'm probably passing on this one. (I voted on $0.)

I'd still recommend waiting in line to pick up as many PODMs of this one as you can as I can already tell it will be quite a bit trader.

Really? The most hyped up PODM release and pin to this date and a pin that will probably make a phenomenal trader and you're just going to get 4 and keep 1 for yourself? You kick @$$ my friend and you have a big heart

:O OMG! I didn't even think about that pro one! The only thing I have to say is I don't exactly have the most pins to bid much less win a BATB PODM but it IS very nice if it's possible to either trade for one or win one or something :) Good luck!

Yeaaa I LOVE Beauty and the Beast! It is definitely one of my favorite Disney films so it is sooo my dream release! I'm just so happy that they decide to release BATB before ending the series :O

yeaaaaa I feel competition coming on when it comes to the SCENE OF ALL SCENES!!!!! *cue epic music*

Me too ;__; It will REALLY suck since everyone will have to change plans and just.. EVERYTHING! That will be horrible. I hope your sister will get a wonderful scene :) How many are you planning on getting?
