I keep my pins in Shadow Boxes ... It works just like a cork board but more protected

The pins are easily accessible and rearrangeable

That shadow box is really nice looking! I actually might end up buying that exact same kind xD

@jkhogon
dihasidhyasoidj I BOUGHT IT OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG IM SO HAPPY!!!!!! and hmmm..I think I know who you are talking about. Well, the person I'm thinking of is a girl (disneypinsrock...or something like that) who collects 101, Aristocats, and Lady and the Tramp..and like toy story I think. So we have some competition xD

Thanks for the help everyone!!! I really appreciate it to hear everyone's ideas and such :)

I make my boards out of coroplast (corrugated plastic) covered in fabric (glued on with hot glue). The coroplast really grips the pins; there's no worry about them falling out, and it's pretty easy to push them in without breaking if you just push slowly. It's a little harder to get them out, but with gentleness and either fingernails or a bone folder (a tool I use in making collages; it's a smooth flat thing) they come out with no damage if I want to rearrange.

(I made my first board with foam core, which is paper over foam, basically, and I did break a pin post on it, although I suspect that pin might have been a scrapper. Anyway I don't recommend the foam core after trying it.)

I get my coroplast from Amazon.com, but you can also get it at anywhere that sells plastic yard sale type signs-- Home Depot, Lowe's, that kind of thing. It cuts pretty easy so you can make it into whatever shapes you want. :)

I bought it from a local art supply store called Aaron Brothers and they often have 50% off coupons on their website.

I keep 70% of my collection on cork boards and have only ever lost 2 pin posts.. I couldn't keep my collections put away in books as I love to look at them..
