I've been trying desperately to get the 4 (or 5 surprise?) pins at a reasonable price and I am failing! So I am ready to just buy a plane ticket to LA for friday night and get them myself! Too bad flights are like $600!!!!! Just venting...

haha, try being in scotland and neeeeeeeding these BTs lol.....noooooo chance of making it to the release :( LOL!!!!!!!! Good luck who ever needs them, hope you get them and the camp out isnt too crazy!!

That's why you need to fly out Wednesday. Mid-week flights are typically cheaper :)

And you'll save on a hotel since you'll have an alley to camp out in. :suspect:

if a flight is $600 i'd rather buy a set online? i live real close and i honestly considered just buying a set but i dont want to fall into buying off pre-sellers. if its more than 24 hours i'm calling it quits for the BT release. not worth it for pins for me.

Need a reclining chair, as sleeping upright doesn't work for me. DSF is beginning to require an investment in longer term camping gear

some that i know of sold for 300$ (all four) that's way to high i cant believe people are paying that much
Actually, that's probably not bad considering most are asking for $200+ just for Enchanted and $65-$100 each for the others. Can we all just start a thread now for all the people who buy and get refunded after their buyer either didn't get there in time or they are selling them for more money to someone else, after using your money to fund their purchase? Yeah, that happens. You pay $300, they use your money to buy the pins, then when the day of they are selling for more, they resell to someone else for more money and refund you back. Feels good doesn't it?

That's what I've been afraid of... Buying a pre-sale and then on release day, "Oops...here's your money back." I'll wait to see what happens at release, and then decide if it's worth trying to pick up a set, or if there will still be too much craziness.

Ouch! Really sorry to hear this! Wish I lived closer and could do this for people! I'm a Black Friday shopper and have spent many a Thanksgiving night camped outside of Best Buy. The one year is was only 19 degrees!

Best of luck!

I'm a Black Friday shopper too! And LA can't be that cold compared to some of those night I've experienced!

Best Buy is just as frustrating as pin releases. At my Best Buy, they had X number of said item in the flyer. They went down the line and asked if you wanted said item, if you did, they gave you a "buy ticket" and you were garaunteed that item. But the first 20 people in line said yes to everything and then took the "buy tickets" and sold them for cash to people that also waited days/hours for those items. They financed their own purchases with these tickets. The first few people raked in over $700 each after they sold all those items. Best Buy apparently doesn't care. I told them they need to take the persons info and then that person only can show up and buy the item. They just don't care. The see a line of people ready to pay and they will sell out anyways, they don't care slime balls are exploiting their sales or extorting their customers.

Camping in Hollywood is not as glamorous as it sounds. After this weekend I can see why people ask for high prices after a camp out. It's cold, dirty, smells like pee, and a chair, tent, or blanket its a must. This was my first time camping for material hoods and I was glad I brought my backpacking gear. What was not fun were drunk people asking dumb questions and crazy old men giving speeches on going to prison and asking for money for meds...lol... That and no bathrooms unless the guard showed up and was only available for a bit. Good times...

Rumor is its one per person..

Ed told me at the Jessica release he didn't think they'd switch to 1 per person. I told him he should and showed him all the presold sets on eBay. He said we'd all find out together when it's posted online. Side note, did anyone go see the actual pins today in the shadow box? If they are there yet? Teresa said they were still waiting for one of them in the mail and thats why they weren't there on Saturday for us all to see.
