Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
Oh my gosh, thank goodness my boyfriend is here. At my store anyway, you can only buy 1, Elsa OR Anna.

I've cancelled my order for both dolls. I did have the money for them but I really can't see how they can justify £20 increase for each doll. Perhaps it's because they know people will pay a lot more on ebay so they cash in on it a bit. I'm a little disappointed as I've bought every LE doll since the Wedding Rapunzel. If they were £60 I would have been really happy right now. Or if they had something extra that made them worth £80, and we knew from the start they'd be £80 then I wouldn't be so disappointed. It's just we all know they were meant to be £60, but suddenly they decided to rip off European customers :( I too noticed they haven't announced them on facebook. They would be flooded with negative comments.

thats like me - I feel majorly sad and let down today, and I was so excited for the release!!! Oh well - the ££ will come in useful this time of yr, and im guessing they wont sell out snytime soon at that price so maybe if they get discounted i may go for them, but really not bothered - im appaulled by disneys behaviour, and I think the most annoying thing is why arent we all paying the same prices? Disney couldve at least warned us about the price....then I wouldnt have wasted my time! £40 extra or $65 is alot of money to pay on top of what is quite an inflated price!!

Im so angry, I finally got to customer services and was told that the stores shouldn't be selling it for £60 so its there fault, she said looking at my account I managed to use a discount code and should consider myself lucky that it worked.

OMG I would've been sooooooooooooooooo upset if that happened out here! I thankfully got mine online last night but I really wanna know if there are a bunch of people at the mall. I just really hope I don't get a cancellation email.

Oh, that sucks. Next time just check out without the code and call in the morning. They will take off the shipping charge for you.

It depends on whether they show the order is "in process" (it gets to be "in process" within an hour of your order). Used to be you could get it changed the same day. They will usually offer you an online gift card for the cost of the shipping...

What discount did you use? I tried to use my cast discount and was told that they're not allowing any discounts for this (though obviously the site is stupider when it comes to deciding what codes work)

I think the fast sellout in the US exceeded everyone's predictions. If the buying frenzy caused the forum and the website to crash for "unknown" character dolls, I really worry about next year's Sleeping Beauty dolls!

Also, I think it is very underhanded of Disney to increase the price of the dolls like that in the UK. That is a nasty surprise.

Thats so rude, the more I read the worse it seems to get! Lucky you for having a pin order cancelled though :/

What a frustrating night we had!! My mom always helps with doll releases (she likes them a lot more than she lets on!), and admittedly, we don't go for every one of them. I had my heart set on Anna the moment I saw her and our plan was to only go for her. I love that green dress so much. My mom was trying to surprise me for Hanukkah and wanted to order both for me. She was ready and waiting at the website at 2:00a central and when they posted, she threw both into her cart and went to check out - as she hit "proceed to check out" she got a spinning loading icon that wouldn't go away. She tried a new window, got both dolls into the cart, went to check out and as she hit "submit" with all of her credit and shipping info in, she got an error saying Anna was out of stock.

Between the website issues and the poor handling of customer expectations, there has to be some sort of reassessment as to how these dolls are released. I feel so badly for UK members who got surprised by a giant hike in price!

As it stands now, we (tentatively) have an Elsa coming, but I'm worried that our order might get canceled. Anna was top priority for me personally, and thanks to some miracle workers who just checked out at their local store, I now have her coming for sure. Despite all the stress and agony over websites crashing and whatnot, I have to confess that the moment the Anna picture got texted to me, my heart just totally melted. I love that doll so much... she's so gorgeous!! But yeah, wow, what a ridiculous release this was!!

haha yes :) i only wanted the rapunzel as a trader and a back up if hollie didnt get it, so I wasnt too upset they cancelled it, the code bought the doll down to about £61, if it would have been £60 to start with she would have cost £40 but I still chose to buy her and now im just really excited. I've never owned a limited edition doll, Ive never even seen one in person. I hope shes worth it.

So there might be a chance for me!! Apparently the other Disney store in Calgary had 5 of each doll!! I would've actually went there first if I knew they were going to have some. When I called earlier they said they weren't going to receive any. But apparently they did!! & only 3 showed up!! Cause they only have 2 of each doll left. I guess I gotta book it there as fast as I can!

Turned out my store got only three of each doll, but the two people in front of me were together so I was fine either way.

Even though I much prefer Elsa's design, I have to say Anna is the nicer one out of these two dolls. The store by my work didn't have enough dolls to accommodate all the people who lined up at 7am, so I'm glad I called in sick today and didn't try to head to that location a 9:30!

Now I just have to wait a month to look at them again.

Congrats to everyone who got them. Sorry to those who missed out and those in the uk who had to pay extra. Is this why they got such a large quantity this time? Scandalous. First the overpriced harrods set and now overpriced regular LE dolls. Too weird :(

Wow congrats! So happy for you to able to get Anna!! I thought Elsa sold out first, but I guess I was wrong ;p

Has anyone received cancellation emails yet? I'm just overly paranoid about my order because it was right when the site was crashing, I have the confirmation email but I'm kicking myself for not just driving to DS this morning to try.

Thank you. And yes, that's what I thought too, which is why I'm not getting my hopes up too high ... I fear she might be canceled because the timing is a bit wacky. Regardless, Anna was where my heart was, and now that I know for 110% sure she's coming home, even if I lose Elsa, I won't be super disappointed. She's beautiful, but as a character (from what I know so far, and I won't spoil the movie for myself), Anna is the clear favorite in my mind.

In the meantime, we wait for possible cancellation messages!!

I know this is a little "off theme" from Frozen, but on a facebook page someone said he reads on a french page this:
Limited Edition 17" Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) will be appear in September and she will have her PINK dress ( I love her in pink..
)

I slowly die now.. I will spend any cash for that doll!

All right. "Off theme" ends.

But September already passed, Rose! :(

I really hope they make one of her in blue too. After what happened with the Frozen dolls though, I really hope they don't make a blue dress version with a low LE and/or huge price increase. That would be too cruel. I don't mind not having the Frozen Harrods set at all since the differences aren't significant, but having Aurora in her blue dress and not her pink dress would be enough of a difference. Fingers crossed that doesn't happen. It would be nice if they would do a split LE for Aurora so that half of the dolls wear pink and half blue. That way everyone could get her in the color they prefer.

Ooooooh my goodness I am a happy camper. I just called DisneyStore.com on my lunch to see if they could give me a status update on my order (some reason, can't log in to view it on my own, arg.) and ELSA IS PROCESSED!! According to the lovely woman I spoke with in guest services, she saw no problems with my order and she should be shipped really soon!! No cancellation! Wahoo!!

I hope everyone else playing the waiting game gets some good news, too! Good luck everyone!

I know! Sleeping Beauty LE Dolls release will be insane! Especially with Maleficent coming. I really hope they do an exception with Maleficent in the LE Villains line and increase her edition size to 5,000, because if they do 2,000 like they did with Ursula, they will sell out easily in 10min or less. With every release, more and more people are getting aware of these dolls and want to buy them. There will be a point where Edition sizes of 5,000 or 6,000 won't be enough to satisfy all the costumers. Perhaps Disney should start think of edition sizes such as 7,000 or 8,000 like they did with Wedding Rapunzel and Merida.

PS: We need to do something about the Forum Crash problem. The whole situation was really stressing :( .

My mixed feelings are almost gone and now I'm sooooo happy I could order Elsa, really can't wait till she arrives!

Still pretty mad with Disney Store though, sent them a message on their facebook and this is hat I got in reply:

'Dear Disney Store,
I have always been in love with your products and am a good customor of yours. I was so, so excited to get the Elsa LE Doll at the Disney Store UK website, but after I ordered her I came to the conclusion you had increased the price
with TWENTY pounds (more than 30%!!)! This means she is now 80 pounds and she costs me 105 euros! At the Italian webshop she was for a few hours priced for 70 euros, but now costs 90 euros, at the US Disney Store they cost 100 dollars and I have seen photos of receipts and price tags with 60 pounds? Than why do we have to pay 80 pounds!? It is obvious you changed the price last minute just to earn even more money. I am really upset since I saved a long time to get this doll even at 60 pounds, but now she is 80 pounds and I can't even pay my mother back and I know I'm not the only one! I think it is REALLY unfair what you are doing to your fans and I am so disappointed. I really hope it is a mistake and you will refund us the 20 pounds. Otherwise you've just lost a good customer, and that will be a shame for both of us. Please tell me this has been an mistake and not just a way to screw with your fans and earn even more money.'

'As mentioned on another post, we know some Guests have noticed that there was originally the incorrect price on Anna and Elsa Limited Edition Dolls. The correct price being £80, and this has now been implemented across all Stores in the UK where these were available along with on our Online Store. We thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us, and hope that you are looking forward to receiving this Enchanting Doll.'

Thanks for the great response, really helps -.- But I think I'm just gonna let it rest. She is so gorgeous and I think when I'll have her I'll immediately forget about the price
