Saw it on Facebook, thought I would put it here too:

So, $500 to get a pin (or maybe a little less, depending on how much a roundtrip flight is to Oregon where the shareholders meeting occurred)

just about to bump up your post about the shareholders meeting.

I am bummed too, but traveling from CA to Portland, OR would have been pricey just for the pin.

its more than the pin, the whole meeting is a great experience. the Roy P Disney was at the last meeting. AND D23 was having a movie screeniing right afterwards, too.

I went to the shareholder's meeting in Seattle. But it was pre-pintrading so no pins. But they had a bunch of the characters available for pictures and autographs in the lobby. Including Shan Yu, which made my Mom jealous since she had to work, and only my Dad and I went. I have some friends that are going, but they're all pin traders, and will want to keep their pin.

I'm sorry but i'm getting bore of the same pose.

It happens whenever a new movie is just released...only certain poses are okay'd by Disney so when a movie initially comes out, they only have a few poses to work with. Examples:

pin80613th200
pin81948th200
pin94703th200
pin86452th200
pin82793th200
pin84970th200

pin97590th200
pin92880th200
pin93616th200
(yes, those last 2 are 2 DIFFERENT pins).

Give it a year and then you'll see good stuff coming out :)

I know, I know. I'm just kidding. I have like 50 stitch and I don't know how many tinker bell pins with the same pose. But it keep me busy trying to get them.

I know I am really bummed. I wish I could have gone today. I am actually going to be in Portland all next week. If only it had been a week later, I could have gone.

I walked into this thread expecting to cry at yet another Frozen pin I'd never own, but I think I'm okay. I'm not huge on the whole "let's just screen this promo image as is" vs taking the time to cloisonne it out.

At least they're finally using the actual Anna model now instead of the Rapunzel-made-to-look-like-Anna one.

I'm not a fan of Elsa's pose for the image (not just the pin). I just think it doesn't look like her as much as it could. I guess she doesn't look soft (?, for lack of better word) enough. I can't really explain it.
