Does blue Aurora have the castle in the background like pink Aurora do you know? And yay Maleficent has her castle.

So I found out from a Cast member that Maleficent has her castle for the background and Blue Aurora has a Pink background.

Sort of from what I have heard it looks like Maleficent is in a stone hallway/staircase and that the blue Aurora is the exact opposite of the pink so if the pink has a castle behind her then the blue will to. But don't quote me on that, that is just based on what I have heard from people that went in store and asked to see the dolls.
 
And so the mystery thickens!
I ordered 2 Aurora's. One for my sister and one for my cousin.
They both shipped and they were both linked.
One went in Transit and the other was still processing.

So I called DisneyStore and they said to wait till today. I got a phone call today to check up on the order and they told me that they're gonna send a request to the distribution warehouse.
4 hours later, the packages are no longer linked and processing doll's tracking number no longer exists!
curiouser and curiouser!

Now when I check the status of the orders on the page, both of the dolls have the same exact shipping number.
If they screw me over with this, I'll explode.

Getting a LE300 pin with a bug squashed on it (permanent damage) and now this within two weeks... Can't handle much more.

I got the blu-ray today and I love how they mention that her lips would shame the red red rose so many times, yet the LE doll has pink lips. lol

That's funny, and I wish she did have red lips . . . but oh well, maybe she looks better with the light pink :)

I checked my tracking today and it looks like my pink Aurora doll arrived in my town this morning . . . I wish I could just have gone to get her (only like a 10 minute drive to the warehouse!!!!) Oh, well, that means I will have her Monday!!!!!!! SO excited! And I really really hope I can get all of the other 3 as well!!!!! Thank you Disney for making us these dolls! I love them! And I am convinced they will look so amazing in person, like they always do!
 
This is the message i just got from disney in regards to my account and doll:

We are delighted to have received your recent email and we appreciate your interest in DisneyStore.com. Please accept our apologies as this information is inaccurate. Your Designer Dolls will be shipping in late October. If you were charged for dolls a credit has been issued to your account. You will be charged when the dolls ship in late October. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have further questions. We look forward to future opportunities to be of service to you.

I'm now more worried than ever as it seems they aren't even sure whats going on.

The Fairytale Designer sets were ALWAYS due to ship out in late October - during the pre-order, they warned that they wouldn't shipped out until the week Briar Rose and Prince Phillip went on sale. Not sure why you're worried about that, as Disney pretty much told us that's what they were doing.

As for the 17" Sleeping Beauty dolls... well, I pre-ordered my pink Aurora in the store, so I don't know what the guarantee was for that.
 
Oy now I'm glad I pre-ordered my pink aurora in store for my first LE.. I've always preferred ordering online if I knew exactly what I wanted because of the easiness of it but this just sounds like a bunch of headache. And though I want to believe Disney will be more careful with LE items, past orders from Disney (non-LE items) looks like someone had chewed on them, spit them out and then stepped on them further that I don't know how much more careful they'd really be. :/

Yes that is true however Disney stuffed up, they charged people instead and on top of that shipped the set out, had they not messed up then people would not have these issues. As a result of this several people have had orders cancelled and in some cases some received the dolls already. Also if you did order the set make sure disney reactivated your order because when an order is shipped it is closed so a lot of people had their orders closed and in some cases they were reopened but then told that their order was cancelled due to the item no longer being available.

So really it is not about that we want the dolls early it is more about the fact that they were sent early meaning that someone stuffed up big time and Disney is doing a poor job of reconciling their error and in fact causing more issues.

Mine says the exact same. I'm in England so maybe it's a problem with international orders. I have no idea but I am upset, it takes all the fun out of the dolls. All of our stores closed so the nearest that has the dolls is 5 hours away....thinking the drive would be better to get her.
 
Man it sucks to hear that so many people are STILL having problems. Its getting ridiculous. This hopefully wont be a problem when all three Sleeping Beauty dolls as well as the Cinderella/Charming designer set go up online, though this situation as well as the designer doll problems don't give me much hope.

Just two more days, technically. It's hard to believe that after waiting a little over two months, that it's only two more days until we can pick up aurora in the store. I just hope there won't be a bunch of people gathered there, I hate crowds in stores.

Now as well.
Mine still haven't shipped, yet. This is getting strange… it's still active, but not shipped or anything.
Thankfully my husband also ordered an Aurora as an extra for me if something like this should happen, and his got shipped out several days ago. Haven't asked him how the tracking is going though (he's in Japan).
Just think it's annoying that you have to order two items to prepare yourself for the possibility that Disney probably screws up, the package gets lost or damaged.

Sometimes I wonder if other shops provided the same service as disney store wouldn't they be out of business by now?
We want these items, the disney store is the only place to get them (at least for retail price) so we kinda put up with bad packaging, vague answers from customer service and often even wrong answers (like when you ask for an address change and they reply: thank you for your interest in the D23 membership) and the amount of lost/damaged goods which haven't even left the packing center, yet (meaning we can't even blame UPS) - not to forget about times with unprepared servers where they should have seen it coming (Especially here I'm thinking about the Europe screw up and in general the Japanese store must have the cheapest server ever, that can't even handle Japan-only traffic).

I've only been into Disney collecting for a year and I'm getting tired of it.

Same here. :/ I tired contacting UPS but so far.. nothing. Technically she should arrive tomorrow though so we shall see.

This notice will always happen, what it is inferring is that the website is unable to get the updated information from the warehouse and therefore the status of your order is not up to date. If you like just check back in a couple of minutes or just keep refreshing it and it will eventually go away. It is nothing serious.

If you ordered an Aurora doll and it shipped then there isa possibility that it was shipped using USPS as opposed to UPS. Does it just say shipped with the date it was shipped next to it? If so then it was shipped with USPS.

Sometimes if your order is still active even though they have finished processing all the orders it would mean that there is something wrong with them billing you for the item. Did you try contacting them to see why it is still active and hasn't been shipped?

The Disney Store warehouse and customer service is horrible when it comes to these LE dolls, even with the current designer dolls they have messed up so many orders. I would highly recommend that you contact Disney to follow up the progress of your order.

Thanks for clarification Polaris! :) I can only speak for myself but yes, there is only the date is was shipped next to the item #. It's so weird though as they have always used UPS for any of my orders. I wonder when she will arrive then.

You'd think that Disney would have noticed that the only packages that are getting "lost" are the Limited Edition dolls.

Anyways. Next week is going to be hell.
I ordered the Pocahontas and John Smith set and it still hasn't shipped.
Don't expect your dolls to ship anytime soon. Honestly, the only advice I can give people is to either go to the store in the morning or upgrade to 2-3 day shipping. That's what I'm going to do and if the second Aurora is lost, then Disney will get a very nasty phone call from me after several very nice ones.

Yeah, that's what it says, Shipped 10/02/2014. So there is some hope? Why can't they provide a tracking number then :( this is my first time ordering from the US site, and that notice is quite scary! It only appeared after I contacted them.

Yeah it is weird it happened on mine as well, did they give you guys numbers at all or is it blank on your emails? if they gave you a long number (i think 12 digits) beginning with a 9 that is a USPS tracking number if they gave you one with letters in it as well it is UPS.

If they didn't give you anything at all then there wasn't any tracking recorded on your order, but I would call Disney and they should be able to give it to you based on your order number.

Jep, that's what mine looks like! It was also shipped on 10/01 so I wonder if they messed up the international orders on that day? I contacted them twice: One CM told me to wait another 24-48 hours for UPS(!) to send me any tracking information. The other CM forwarded my request to "the corresponding department" (whatever that means!). So yeah, no clue what's going on! :|

I sent them an e-mail.
Just find it annoying that if they have any billing issues why they don't contact you and just leave it hanging.

I'm fearful how things will turn out with the designer set. At least that has gone back to active instead of closed after their screw up.
