It's really awful that you can buy a doll in July and still not get it shipped to you. Disney screwed up hugely there, there's no excuse for that kind of incompetence especially from such a big company. Sorry this happened to you. :(
 
I'm seriously crying my eyes out right now. I just got off the phone with DS, and they confirm there is no more pink auroras in the warehouse. At this moment I'm just deeply saddened, I can't believe this. Can't even bother to be mad at all.

I just wanted that pink doll so much, waited months! I really, really wanted the pink one..

Oh no, this is horrible. I am so sorry. I can't even imagine how upset I would be if this happened. I was wondering where they were getting all of these "replacement" dolls, seemed something like this was bound to happen. Wow, did they even offer any sort of compensation? So unfair.

I haven't had any problems myself (knock on wood!), but just reading about what so many people have gone through the past month or so with these dolls, really makes me angry. The Disney Store's customer service is absolutely appalling.

I emailed them about mine this morning asking if there is a doll that will be shipped they just said it's still processing. Very annoyed just tell me or just ship it
 
OMG that is absolutely horrible!
Disney should buy one off of eBay and ship it to you!
And honestly... The only thing that I can think that could make it up to you, aside from the eBay thing, is for them to offer you first dibs on the next LE doll. That is, you won't have to stay up will midnight to order, it'll automatically be done for you. I know you won't be getting Aurora, but at least this way, they can ensure that you get the next one.
I think it's absolutely stupid for them to exchange dolls with damaged boxes for brand new dolls, because instead of sending new ones, they can easily ask for the damaged box back and and make a new box for them.

God... This is so stupid... We should sign a petition asking disney to get their pixie dust together!
 
I myself have received damaged boxes/ broken cases do to poor packing the solution needs to start in the warehouse these dolls need to be better packed so they can arrive safely and they can avoid people having to do exchanges.
 
So I just realized at least I think phillip and aurora were shipped at the same time... On my tracking info for blue aurora in the packages for this shipment tab I didn't notice until now but it has two packages listed... So I'm thinking phillip should also arrive tomorrow.

im not sure if because they just sent me Phillips tracking its now showing up or if it was there all along and I never noticed... But I guess I'll find out tomorrow!

Oh no.........they told me on Monday they would send me a replacement doll but it's still active and no shipping e-mail. I guess I'll get an e-mail saying the same too now :(

I really can't understand how so many international dolls got lost that we pre-ordered in July and now we probably won't get anything :( I didn't even try to get pink Aurora in Europe cause I was sure I was getting mine from the US.

Where are all the damn lost Auroras?
Once again, Disney proves that their service is horrid and just plain sloppy.
It would be understandable if a few Auroras had gone missing, since there's always risks when sending items over distances, but the fact that the majority of international Auroras goes "missing" that is just a sign of extremely poor management.
The fact that my Aurora actually arrived in Denmark seems more and more like a miracle rather than an expected standard.

After the whole mess disney did with the fairytale set, I'm still very much on my toes about it - still expecting something to go wrong when they ship them out next week. Shopping with disney is a scary experience.
 
That's my thought as well, What in the world happened to I would say at least 100 dolls, as it sounds like it's almost all the International orders and we have to pay $$$$ for shipping. Not sure if I want to try to find one or not just in case. Somehow I am thinking yahoo auctions won't end up wih any if all international orders were messed up

Yes, looking at disney communities there's surely at least 100 dolls missing, since a lot of people in Europe, Australia and Asia are missing their dolls. WTF? Where do all those dolls end up?! First I thought they had just slapped on labels and they got "lost" in the warehouse as we have seen examples of before, but the fact that my Aurora arrived, without tracking and also close to being declared lost, it must be proof that Disney did ship out those missing Auroras and then they got lost somewhere in the Pacific or Atlantic ocean. … any recent plane crashes I haven't heard about?? …
 
I'm sorry for everyone :( I'd be devastated as well. Though I had a thought as to why so many dolls got lost and they don't have replacement dolls: the system marked them as shipped (whyever!) vut they weren't - so all the ordered dolls were supposedly shipped and they had still all of them left in the warehouse, though now unclaimed! As the international orders were marked as shipped. In the end these unclaimed dolls could have been the ones which were (over)used for replacement. This how international customers never got theirs and there are no emergency dolls left?:-/ If that is the case all international orders that are lost would have been marked as shipped the same day?

Please do not just let this lie, this is terrible that they have just palmed you off. I would be making a complaint if this were me and posting it all over Facebook and everywhere I could. This is the only way they will acknowledge you. I dont know if this helps at all but I mentioned earlier in this thread I was in the Cardiff store on Friday and they had about 6/7 blue Auroras still on display in the shop. I know it's now the pink one which you originally bought but at least it's something. It might be a long shot because I'm not sure exactly where you are based but I'd seriously consider calling DS back and seeing if they can get one shipped to you. This is the least they could do for you.

I'm so so sorry. :( I don't understand how Disney think they can get away with behavior like this - they should be well versed in shipping internationally by now and losing so many dolls doesn't seem just like an accident, more like carelessness.

I agree you shouldn't let this slip by, they need to learn and at least compensate you in some way. It's something you really wanted and cared about.

Babybaby: Thank you, but I'm located in Finland. I did get to order the blue Aurora from the UK site successfully. I did try to order the pink Aurora from UK as well but it again got canceled. I don't think there's any pink dolls sitting at stores anymore, I'm surprised you say there's even the blue ones left! I wonder if there was any pink left, the online store wouldn't know about it right? Because they're kind of different entities.. i can't start searching from every disney store. :(

I'm sorry I probably should've known but it was worth a shot. I was very suprised too, I even took pictures! Everyone in store was just stocking up on Frozen items and walking past the dolls. They also had about 10 Maleficents and 7 princes. I know a gift card wont fix this problem but you need to take it further because it's just not acceptable. It will just keep on happening and disney need to know they have royally messed up with the international orders. I hate to say it but does someone working for the shipping company know this value of these dolls and this is why they keep going missing? Look what happened with the Frozen ones too. It's not on and it's not the collectors that should be penalised.

Id love to know how many LE dolls have gone missing since they started getting more popular. I mean it even says LE and the number on the box so who knows!!

I need advice. Should I debox my aurora or not. I do and I don't at the same time. I don't because I like the look of it in the box, and It would be a waste of a pretty box. I do because I would like to pose her for photos, and she would look wonderful out of the box, I don't know what I should do.

I debox mine, take photos, and then display them in box. That way you're not wasting the pretty box :)
 
Disneystore says that they shipped my blue Aurora doll on the 13th. And i checked today and still get this - A ups shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated. It seems ups never got her. :( I am from the us. Anyone else getting this issue. Nice to meet everyone. :)

Sometimes their system doesn't update. I've had that msg before and then everything magically appears right before items are out for delivery.
