OMG! They are coming out with so many beautiful pins!!!

So my choice is to buy these pins and start a new set (cause I’m a bit ocd), or bypass them and admire them from afar. Hm.....

My wallet has control.

I'm torn about that diamond set, because it is a pretty set and will look so lovely together, but it's so far outside of anything I collect and will be an expensive set to obtain (over $100 if I can get them all in person as they come out) just because it looks pretty.

I might just end up getting the purple one (my favorite color) to commemorate the year and not worry about getting the full set.

I'm in the same boat, kinda worried about committing to all those release dates! I may just pick my favorite quotes...

Thought I would share photos of the new 60th Anniversary pin:

I love the glitter and the magnetic closure, and even liking the backing card, with the holographic diamond. Thinking I'm gonna go ahead and aim to get the other pins in the set, and try to figure out a way of displaying them that I'll like!

February studio store release. Now I need the Anna/Kristoff locket! I think this is a good batch.

I am brand new to pin collecting (just got back from my first trip to Disney World and fell in love!) I'm crazy about the two Lady and the Tramp pins and the Carl and Ellie mailbox. The flyer says that they accept phone orders; is there any chance there will be some left on 2/20? If so, when (what time) should I call? Or will they all be sold out by then?

I'm new to pin trading (went on our first trip to Disney World last week and fell in love!) I won't make it back to Disney world for a while, so I guess I'm stuck trying to get pins from a distance. This flyer says phone orders are available 2/20-- how do phone orders work? Will there actually be any available? I LOVE the two Lady and the Tramps and the Carl and Ellie!

Does any one know when the pin with what looks to be a hitchhiking ghost that says Liberty Square will be available?

From the blog post:
We also have a few surprise pins planned including a collection featuring Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” for Disneyland Resort. When placed next to each other, the pins will form a complete picture. Guests in Florida will find pins celebrating the themed lands of the Magic Kingdom Park. Both of these pin collections will be released at random times throughout the year.

So who knows. The first Little Mermaid one was just released last week in DL. Also from the sounds of it there will be ones for the other sections of the Magic Kingdom, so who knows if it'll even be the first one.

Went to Animal Kingdom today, and found several new things I haven't seen make it on the inventory sites.

There is a new bucket style hat with 5 pins, and a "Crocodile Dundee" style hat with 6 pins. Many are similar to older pins from the hats, the images are similar, but these are domed enamel inside a gold base, with a thick gold edge. The Crocodile Dundee hat has pins that look like the "First Guest" pins from when Animal Kingdom Lodge opened. But be careful, when purchasing these. I saw a couple hats where one of the pins had been "removed."

I had seen in November, two different new Expedition: Everest pins and this trip I also saw a new "Animal Kingdom" pin that has the Fab 4 on top of the name.

I don't have any pictures now, but I will be able to take some this weekend or early next week.

When at DTD at WDW I saw (and bought) a new Pooh pin. It is oval and has Pooh's head in a huny jar. The background is green in color. Sorry I do not know how to post pictures. It is an open edition pin.

All but 3-4 of the previewed pins from the gala are now out.. Still missing Jessie, lilo & stitch Ohana among others.. The Bonnie/woody appeared yesterday :)

If the Bonnie/Woody pin looks better in person than the preview picture, then I'll get it as a centerpiece for my Bonnie's Toys PTD collection.

I think two of the chasers are going to be Chernabog and Cruella. Any ideas on the last one?

I kinda cringe every time I see these.
They're a cute idea and all, but they could have been illustrated SO much better.
It looks like something taken from the DeviantArt page who hasn't quite refined their skills yet and the hearts all have that overly deep cleavage.
They're definitely not up to the artistic standards I'd expect from Disney.
