Pinopolis/ACME/HotArt Pin Updates....basically messages from them
Does anyone know if Taste of Royalty have actually shipped? I have emailed several times with no response.

My guess is they are too busy at the event to have shipped anyone's orders...
I've also seen them for sale on eBay already from either someone who picked them up at the event or an ambassador, very disappointing and poor service.

Just a question... back in July I believe... my local Pin Master told me that the only way to get the LE 200 “Lanyard Pins” was to buy expensive sets of Pinopolis Pirate coins and then trade the coins for a pin. I was assured that I did not have to trade all 10 of the coins that I purchased because this would be available in the foreseeable future. My pin master is not super close to me and I wasn’t able to go again until today at an event. Today I’m told that’s no longer how it’s done and they cannot take the coins (!), but I am welcome to purchase any of the Pinopolis pins I want. I still have 6 of my 10 coins that I paid $125 to get! Now what? I’m sorry, but I expected to have these be exchanged for LE Pins! What can I do now?

@Pinopolis Ambassador ?

@Arendelle : I thought that you could still trade them in, but I traded all mine in at the Las Vegas pin event and have been using the traders that I got there to trade for other trader pins. If you paid with a credit card and they won't let you trade them in for pins, I would file a dispute with your credit card company.

Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure I paid with cash. :-( I really would like to actually talk to someone because although I received a “refund” I never received a number of the pins I supposedly “received”. Making so I really still don’t feel like things are at all close to even. I’m not sure I have any options because I waited for pins longer than PayPal will let you wait to pursue a bad transaction. So I really just don’t know what to do. I really just feel very hurt and ripped off and I’m seeing pins that I ordered that I never did receive and now never will. I just don’t seem to be clever enough to figure out Pinopolis/Acme Pins without getting badly burned.

Again, I’m not blaming Kristi, but I just don’t know where to go from here.

@Arendelle have you thought about filing police and fraud reports with the local authorities?

The FL pinmaster is TD Collectibles, right? I think that's what I saw on FB. So file in whatever city/ county they are in. And mail or internet fraud.

And San Diego since that's where Pinopolis is based and you're still missing pins

Haven't you had issues in the past year with them?

It sounds like some kind of fraud or theft is going on. The internet is your friend!

I can't believe how long this has gone on and now we have to stare at the pins on eBay.

Yeah. Pinopolis dropped the ball on many sets, but Taste of Royalty has been particularly egregious. Remember when October 1 was their "hard deadline"? What cheeses me off is that the usual response is "It's not our fault; be patient," as if asking for a product more than a year after you paid is somehow greedy and demanding. They have done nothing to make this right for their customers.

PinPics/Pinopolis are happy to be a business when they take your money, but when they can't deliver a product, they want to go back to "Oh, we're all just friends in a fun hobby so everybody should just be nice to us!" mode. Which is unfortunate for the people who give them the money.

ETA: As others have said, I actually give @Pinopolis Ambassador a lot of credit for attempting to keep things moving. She's made real, honest efforts on customers' behalf. Unfortunately when she experienced real-life difficulty, there was no one else to pick up the slack.

Hi there @Pinopolis Ambassador ! I was just curious of the two sets of LE200 HotArt pins officially released this past weekend? I’m hoping to track some down myself, but I can’t seem to find posts of them anywhere... not even folks showing off their purchases.

Got this email from Pinopolis!

Dear Valued Customers,

We have some important updates to share with you! First, we will be taking some time off during the last few weeks of the year for the holidays, but we will be back in January with a lot of news to share, including our events calendar!

Next, you may have already noticed that we've taken down our online store. We will be shifting the way that we distribute our pins in the coming year. Primarily, we will distribute through our events, Gold Members, and HotArt retailers. Be on the lookout for more information in January.

Also, it is with great sadness that we announce a very important member of our team, Kristi Sova will be leaving. As many of you know earlier this year Kristi had a back injury. Kristi has been our most dedicated team member but with being a mother of 4 and now needing to fully commit to physical therapy she needs to step back to make a full recovery. Kristi we will all miss you more than you know.
Please direct order inquiries to info@pinopolispingame.com.

During this time off we will still be available via email. We are also in the process of shipping our remaining online orders and Taste of Royalty.
We will also have an update on our Classic Cutouts pre-order next week.
Thank you all for your loyalty!

The Team at Pinopolis

@Pinopolis Ambassador : will there be someone else logging onto DPF to provide updates?
