You might want to call and check if your store knows (and is willing to tell you) if they are getting them. There's only 1 store even close to me and they didn't get Tremaine.
 
I got my Snow from the Disneystore near me. No sharks in sight. In fact, NO ONE in sight! I was the only one in the raffle, and yes they still did a "raffle ceremony" complete with a short "magical" speech. I won! Lol, but I was the only one in it.

They had a nice display with apples next to Snow. Sorry the pictures are blurry. I have an old old flip phone.

It was great, I got to talk with someone who wasn't interested in Snow White but who wanted to see what the turn out was going to be like because she is after Rapunzel. Another person came in looking for Belle. A few other people stopped to look and ask about Snow but they were turned off by the price. These were families with kids in tow who were only looking at Snow incidental to coming to store for other things.

It's 11:07 TX time and Snow and her Prince are still up for purchase online. Why do I have a feeling it won't be like this on Rapunzel/Ariel/Belle weeks.....
 
Even though I'm sure all the other sets will sell faster than this one, they won't be anything like the first series. The price is too high for the casual collector, especially since I'm sure most care about only the princesses, not the princes.

The prince of this particular set is actually the worst one, I'd say. I really like his clothes, but his face is just too off.

Also, with the variant Snow White looking so gentle in comparison, I'm sure that turned lots of people off this version. I happen to prefer this set to the variant, but I can see why others feel differently.
 
Although, when they DO sell out they might be harder to find because they are going into the hands of more collectors and fewer scalpers. My store, by the way, had 16 Snow Whites. They also still have all the cups and journals in stock.

I admit to feeling totally happy seeing people list the non-D23 version of Snow White for $200 - $300 without any bids. I hope it deters scalpers for the rest of the collection and I hope they are stuck with their purchases. In fact the only doll with bids just now is one that listed for below cost (currently at approx $50).

I'll also take back every terrible thing I said about Disney having their edition size be too small if they don't end up selling out, but sadly I think Snow is just not as popular compared to the other princesses in this collection. And though I prefer her 'movie' coloring, some collectors probably have the D23 Golden version and that's another reason she hasn't sold out yet online.

There's also a big difference between seeing them in person and seeing them online. I didn't think Snow would be one of my favorites from the photos, but would put her in my personal top three now. Conversely, Rapunzel was one of my must haves and she's probably the worst looking of the dolls in person due to the truly awful positioning.

I can definitely appreciate these dolls more in person. They are all really beautiful and are just as well done (in my opinion) as the original Designer Princess series.

I also agree about Rapunzel...she was my absolute favorite based on the initial pictures, but they ruined her in the box. As someone that doesn't de-box their dolls I am really sad about that particular set. Her head looks horrible turned like that, and you can't even see Flynn behind her...and I really appreciated the extra touches they gave Flynn (his satchel and Rapunzel's crown)...and you can't even see them unless you turn the box to the side. :(

My store seemed to have everything from this collection...mugs, journals, lithos, Snow White purse, wallet, cosmetic bag, nail polish, note cards, and shirts. I purchased an Ariel and Eric mug and came close to buying the wallet but decided not to at the last minute. I don't really use long wallets like that and it was somewhat pricey for what it was. I also think (in my opinion) the Snow White purse was a little cheap looking material-wise. The mugs are really nice in person as are the journals...I thought they were beautiful!

I am seriously debating blowing half my paycheck on the Rapunzel and Flynn doll. I just love them so much. I went to the Disneystore today and wanted to bring the display home with me :lol: I did buy the Rapunzel and Flynn journal and mug. There were only 2 left of both so I bought them before I had to drive around MD to find them. :lol: I was kind of surprised how popular Rapunzel was. I figured Ariel would be the most popular one in the collection at my store.
 
No, the # is also visible through the back of the case, on the certificate.

I can't help but laugh at all these Rapunzel pictures. She looks hysterical like that! I guess some of us will have no choice but to open the boxes long enough to fix our dolls. And it's so hard getting them closed again. It is for me at least, lol.
 
Help! I'm dying to buy Snow! I don't no what to do, originally I said Rapunzel and ariel. But I'm tempted to order Snow! But if I get snow I won't have the money for Rapunzel. Would you get Snow and ariel or Rapunzel and Ariel?

Me personally I would get Rapunzel and Ariel...even though Rapunzel is position weird in the box she is absolutely gorgeous!!

i know what you mean! i wanted those 3 also but I'm having to pick and choose also, I guess it just becomes a personal preference thing about the way they look. I'm going to Snow and Rapunzel haha!
 
I think Rapunzel is so unique with her lantern that I don't really care how Flynn looks. I did buy Snow too, but personally my favorite is Rapunzel. She would be hard for me to pass up. If I had to choose it would be (1) Ariel (2) Rapunzel (3) Belle (4) Snow (5) Jasmine.
 
It so hard picking and choosing! My bf hates dolls and has said I can only get two more! And one I'm saving for Christmas Ariel! And any more I wouldn't fit on the shells!Im thinking maybe get rid of queen or hearts and cruella so I can get Snow, ariel and Rapunzel and then il have all the princess's that go with a villain.

I would do Ariel and Rapunzel. Even though you may have to reposition Rapunzels face in the box, I think she looks better than Snow White. I still say Ariel is one of the most beautiful dolls in the collection.
 
Well, I just got back from my local DS and OMG!! You are all so right!! The online pictures do not do this line JUSTICE!!! They are all gorgeous!! Originally, I wasn't going to get Snow or Belle but after seeing them, I want them ALL!! I ended up purchasing Snow today, along with, the mugs and note cards, with my 15% off disney Visa card holder coupon. My store has 22 of each doll, only 9 people came for the raffle yesterday. I hope it stays like this because I really want this whole collection. I hope they do the rest of the princesses!! I know it's a lot of money for the set and I didn't plan on buying them all but these dolls put a smile on my face;) I want the lithographs eventually, they will look gorgeous framed.
 
I love Snows pose as well, between that and the detail of her dress, I couldn't resist!! Being a serious collector is taking a toll on my wallet for this and the 17inch Ariel and on top of that, all the Frozen merch that's yet to come...OH, and don't get me started on the Disney Infinity stuff LMBO!!!!!
 
Snow is actually my least favorite princess, but I ended up buying the doll today along with the Jasmine and Rapunzel journals. It seems like my store still had plenty left, and they also had all of the journals, mugs, etc (if anyone needs anything, let me know!). She is just SO pretty in person. I'll probably end up grabbing Rapunzel as well (and fixing her head pose...), but that'll be all I want from this series, they all look great though. I'd get Ariel too, if I hadn't already pre-ordered the 17 inch one. Snow has a gorgeous face mold, and the embroidery on the dress is really pretty. I couldn't resist! I was pleasantly surprised to see I got doll #229. That's the lowest I've managed to get out of any of my dolls. The numbers don't really mean anything to me, I just thought it was cool. :lol:
