She was very understanding and she let me go back to the store and exchange for a new one! Such a relief to have it all taken care of. It would bug me no matter what, but with Snow being one of my top favorites I wouldn't be able to live with knowing that smudge was there.

I'm so glad that you were able to get a new and unsmudged DFDC Snow White with minimal trouble! :) I wouldn't be able to live with that either, since Snow White is my top favorite princess.

This makes me nervous with the doll set pre-orders. If a doll with a smudged face like this could pass all the way to selling at the retail stores, can you imagine the potential quality issues that may happen with the dolls that have not been looked at since being packaged at the factory?!? Since it does not appear that the DFDC princess dolls have the back stamp reflecting the edition/CoA numbers, I would totally and unashamedly ask for them to take a current 2013 Classic Snow White doll and put on some eyelashes on her for me to redress with the DFDC gown. I don't care about her DFDC hairdo. I'm sure they would probably not do that for anyone (after all in the USA, they were not willing to produce and ship out new shoes for anyone with glass slipper problems with their 17" LE Cinderella doll), but I would still ask and make a big stink!
 
Mind if I jump in....glad I found this site btw :). I collect Snow White...and I actually like this one, and I liked the 2011 one as well. Stylized and different appeals to me I guess. For some reason I'm not as much into the prince with this set. If it was 60-80 bucks, maybe....but I am paying for him if I buy this. He looks like Patrick Swayze (not that, that is a bad thing), just keep seeing potters wheels, and thinking "ditto"... Who knows, I might end up buying it as I'm swinging by tomorrow to see them all in person, lol. Anyhow...my theory on why Snow did not sell out in stores....remember she flew off the shelf in 2011....but that was ONLY because Ariel hit the 800 mark on ebay the week before Snow's release... And so it began...Snow sold out online in minutes, and the lines formed at the store...and Disney put the whole thing on hold. The villains helped put the ebayers at bay in 2012. I think there are still ebayers who will buy to resell....but that number is much lower....so real collectors should have an easier time getting them.
 
Was able to get my mugs and journals today - on sale no less! I got in about 5 min. after the store opened and already a bunch of people had come in specifically to get mugs, journals, etc. So happy I went before and not after work for them! Sadly though, they didn't have the wallet. My local CMs think only the new Interactive stores got them in. Did anyone's stores get them? Would anyone consider picking up a wallet and selling for retail +shipping?

Pity the dolls are so much; I like them, but not enough to buy at that price point. Surprisingly, I found the Beauty and the Beast set to be the most gorgeous in person. Beast especially looks really good, and Belle's just, well, a Beauty. XD
 
Wow! It wasn't until 12:14 before the actual dolls appeared for me. Thank you Steve! If it wasn't for the link I might have had less of a chance. What's their deal???!!!

Wow, this sure was stressing, but my order went through! I had to sign in several times with diferente explorers, and once I had it on bag it froze 3 times. My order went through at 12.19 PST, and just received the confirmation email. Good luck everybody, and good night as well! I'm back to bed as I have college tomorrow :S !
 
Hopefully everyone gets her;) I'm up....but I don't want Snow....I have the 2011 designer Snow White and the Tonner Snow, this one, isn't my favorite and since these dolls take up a lot of space, I can only get my favorites;)

You can always adopt my strategy: Stack them! :lol: I do worry they will fall and the cases will crack, but I don't have much choice at this point. We have every one released so far going back to 2011, minus the two D23 special releases.

The set has been online for about an hour and a half now, and it's still in stock as far as I can tell. Hopefully that means no issues for people who ordered her!
 
She's still available at nearly 5am.... Nice!!!!! Maybe we will be lucky this year and can all just buy these dolls without insanity! Wouldn't that be the true Disney spirit?! Here's to hoping!!!
 
I need to constantly tell myself I don't want these dolls lol. I mean I do but I have chosen to only get 17 (or 18)" dolls and these would be dwarfed. But I'm so glad for everyone who got Snow and I hope for you it stays this breezy!
 
Sigh... I am so conflicted. I told myself I would only get three because between Ariel, Eric, Ursula and these I am just tapped out financially. Originally I was going to get Snow White (because no way I will ever get the 17" version), Rapunzel (because she is a favorite princess) and Jasmine because I love their pose in the box. Now I really like the Beauty and the Beast dolls in person and Ariel is another favorite princess. I am also late to the party and it will be financially impossible for me to complete any of the previous collections so this is the only one I can complete for now. So I am rationalizing getting them all now. Or I am worried that I decide to skip some and I don't manage to get Ursula and Eric so I lose out on a bunch of them. We went so long without new dolls and now its doll overload ><

Does anybody know if Ursula and Eric will be done by raffle as well?
 
Ursula and Eric will be first come first serve. It'll be online first then in the stores like the LE Ariel process went. If unsuccessful online, book it to your nearest Disney Store that sells LE stuff immediately if possible.
