You have to apply for a spot to pickup two days before the release date. Then if successful you're given a time on release day to go and make your purchase where you're only then allowed to buy two per transaction (I presume this means two of each LE rather than just two LE in total).

@pretty Omi @NutMeg And doesn't someone collect Wendy? I can't seem to remember whom....
I've been hoping this new system at DLP would eventually come over to the states for big releases like the Windows.A limit of two of each sounds like something that could work really well for LE's at the parks over here.
Maaaaaaan. I had a feeling that was coming when all the new pins had crazy additions (like hinges + pin on pin, or PoP + a vinyl cord).... Maybe it's just for the Vintage Vinyl?Looks like LE's at the parks just went from $16.99 to $17.99

Yes, that would hurt the pickup idea for sure. Unless they lasted until the next day, in which case there could be a new day of madness XDThat Lineberty system sounds interesting. I wonder if they are testing it at a smaller park first and will eventually bring it over to DLR/WDW? It would certainly cut down on the madness and shop hopping of popular release mornings. It would effectively mean the end of large-scale pin pickups, though, if each person could only get two total for the day instead of two each time they got to a register.
Also, I don't think DLP does it for every LE (or did I misread that?). So maybe it would be reserved for certain ones. That Lineberty system sounds interesting. I think they're always on the system now. When I was there at the weekend they still had a few of the genie and world's best friend jungle book from last month... Not as popular as the rest or seems. Also, I don't think DLP does it for every LE (or did I misread that?). So maybe it would be reserved for certain ones.
Edit: nvm, it looks like all the le pins from this month are on the line thing. I could have sworn last month there were a few not in it. Oh well. XD

So US and UK are getting Disney Wisdom. Shanghai are getting a monthly Donald series! Not sure yet if they are doing a bunch of stuff each month like the Mickey Memories or if it's just a plush.
