Woah, woah, woah. Are you calling me dishonest, and my pins crap, Moe? If you have a problem with me, then we can talk about it, but please don't attack me simply because I stated an opinion.

What are you talking about??? Are you having a game too??? I was just talking in general not even thinking you had a game running... You really need to stop being so defensive Echo... You often feel like you are being attacked but you never are...

Yes, I am running a game, and entries are $10. Why are you even friends with me if you find me so defensive and whiny(which you've said before)? I am who I am, Moe. I have my faults, I wear my heart on my sleeves, I'm extremely sensitive, but I am who I am and if you don't like that, then that's okay. I don't blame anyone for not wanting to put up with me, and I wish you all the very best in all you do. ♥

To keep this on topic, I do believe that the games/raffles/bingo/etc. need to have their own forum, as regular ol' sales threads and want threads are getting lost in the shuffle.

From the OP,

:confused:I have heard that there are one or two games in which you are not guaranteed something for your buy in... Which doesn't seem right.

Which is what made me mention the legality. It doesn't seem right, because states usually have laws against it.

Look, I really don't care what happens with the games. I've never played nor do I intend to. But back in the early days of this site someone already got their knickers in a knot over the participation of underage traders and their ability to enter legal contracts or not and therefore a trader's ability to seek recourse. That was before Moe and a lot of other people's time here, so they wouldn't know that there has already been trouble. Of course, said poster turned out to be a scammer herself, so how much she was going on and on about mattered in the end. I know people have successfully pursued mail fraud cases against Dizpins/Pinpics scammers. If there, I assume that eventually someone here would run into a scammer bad enough that they would pursue it too. That is an opportunity for all this to turn up on someone's radar that people wouldn't want. Maybe nothing happens, but maybe someone who works for a gaming commission decides to take up pin trading and ends up at the site. I doubt DL thought that after 50 years of operation they'd have to add safety railings to Alice in Wonderland. But some Cal/OSHA inspector on vacation proved differently.

I think enough of this site, and the people that run it that I DON'T want to see them get in over their heads.. If that makes me a bad guy, then I guess I'm a bad guy.

I love you both very much as my friends, please take that discussion to PM or call eachother to resolve.

You are bad guy, but this does not mean you are bad guy.

The original question of this thread I believe was "Should a sub forum be made, because we're having troubles finding the ACTUAL SALES THREADS?"

YES. A thousand times yes. I can't tell sometimes if I'm clicking on a sale thread or a game. And I know my current thread whether or not it has things in it that interests others is being ignored because since all the games popped up the sales threads haven't been having much change in their view counts (I've been watching).

I think the problem here is the same as when the Auctions started. It's fun, it's new, it's a risk within means and people enjoy them. They're the next big thing and they AREN'T technical sales threads. They're like PINception...it's a sale thread within an auction thread within a game omg.

There's two ways to fix this:
1. Make a sub forum to clean up the sales threads
2. Put a ban on Goofy_Moe from getting creative anymore. xD

I don't want to get off topic and i do believe that a separate forum should be created to put all of these games in one place however I just want to say that as a new participant in this great forum the games have been so much fun and i have had the great luck to win some fantastic pins that I probably never would have had a chance at if not for the games that people have put on. With that being said I would also like to say that they created an environment that allowed me to open up much easier so thanks to all that have given me that chance. :)

 I like how I said "Paying for a "raffle" but not get anything in return is illegal" got turned into "YOU SAID ALL GAMES IN GENERAL ARE ILLEGAL SO YOU'RE IGNORANT". XD

Sometimes I wonder if people actually read or just jump to conclusions and then insult each other.

It IS illegal to raffle/game when the person participating doesn't get ANYTHING in return just has a "chance" to win the major prize.

But it's not illegal to have people pay for a game where they DO get something even if its a small pin, big pin w/e without having to win any major prizes, aka consolation prizes, mini prizes, etc.

Also, I said the cynical side of me THINKS people usually do that type of stuff to get rid of their crappy traders.
But did I say someone on the forums was doing it? No
Has it happened? No.
Did I say it happened? Nope.

I then followed by what I witnessed, people do it for fun and copied Moe because it was a fun way to sell their stuff. And that a sub forums was a good idea.

Thus the importance of reading.

Back on topic! I voted for the sub forums now that the option is up :D

+1

I vote for a new sub forum :)

And I think someone mentioned it before, but paying for something with just a chance to get something in return (and not actually a guarantee of something in return) is a lottery.

And just to show you that law enforcement does go after illegal lotteries, the prior District Attorney in Riverside County went after two women (including a grandmother) who did a football pool at some Elks Lodge:

I'm sure Cicada (one of the forum owners) read about this a few years ago since he's in Riverside County too. I got a laugh reading this but the two people involved ended up pleading to an infraction, as I recall.

Sadly, I will have to share my experience with these games. I played a game a while ago and paid 10 dollars. I didn't win and receive a fake pin. Yes a fake pin. I was very upset. I spoke to the person and they said I wasn't able to get another pin. It was very upsetting :(. I will never play another game again. I hope this doesn't happen to anybody. I agree that there should be a sub forum. Or maybe another forum called Disneygameforums. Maybe other games can be created. :) thanks for listening!:) it's a super how you doin idea.

I definitely vote for a sub forum it's just too confusing I end up opening half of the "game" threads because the title isn't clear and I get frustrated I have nothing against the games at all I just entered my first one yesterday however some of the, are so complicated I just give up after the first rule.

Lovely, how about a. "How you doin" and keep calm. Nobody is attacking your pins. They are like your babies. You have nice pins. Nobody is attacking you.
