When I first saw the pinpics forum I worried that I'd have to try to stay up to date on two forums. Now... not so much. I signed up, visited about twice, and came back home. And here I am!

I quickly glanced at it, but I think a good bunch of its members also belong to this board and most likely post more here because it has so many more interesting topics to discuss. Don't we still have more members though?

I love this site and while I signed up on the other boards this is my new home. I'm staying put right here and trying to get as many people as possible to come over here as well. This board is the best of the bunch.

As mentioned before by another member, this was also the first site I visited once I found out about Dizpins closing & due to the industrious Mods, cool layout & the friendly nature of the few members at that time I joined without any hesitation. Yes I still look at Pinpics, but I have no intention of joining another Forum - having a very quick look the Pin Talk forum has (at present) less members & a majority of those posting are members here too (not an issue!), but there is probably a duplication of info across the forums. I'll continue to contribute to Pinpics by adding pins & maintaining my groups, but all my posting, socialising, trading & buying/selling etc will be carried out here. The feedback process, trades/wants links & overhwelming friendliness is what makes this forum, all this carried out by the Mods during their own time, from scratch & with no funding from us the members - any future additions (Reference links etc) will only serve to make this the No 1 Disney Pin Forum. We owe it to them to support this site by spreading the word & make it THE place that traders want to visit initially, & then return again & again!!

I had a glance at Pin talk as I was going to browse to selling section but they dont have one which to me I thought I will never look at the forum again, if they make a For Sale section then I guess I will go look to see if they have any of the pins I want but if not then it will just fade into the background.

Just found this thread. I seem to be lagging behind the rest of the pin community. I had pins for a year before realizing I could trade them online. So I did a Google search, which led me to PinPics, which led me to Pin Talk. Then a post from ShowMeThePins led me here. I guess Dizpins had just closed, but I had no idea what Dizpins was.

PinPics is so awesome that I can't fault the admin for creating a group. When I came to this forum, I was happy to see many of the same faces. In a short amount of time, DPF has become my main forum because of size and activity level. Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube extensions are icing on the cake.

I still check Pin Talk on occasion, mainly because I want to support the PinPics team, but I'm really glad that DPF is here.

I'm shocked to hear that there are other Disney pin forums out there. :p Then again I am probably the only person in the world not on facebook

I have no desire to look elsewhere.

DPF is my home and here is where I will stay.

My path mirrors Michael's in that I started with pinpics, found Pintalk, then Judy showed me the way here to DPF. Right before I was directed here I was posting regularly at Pintalk, but noticed it was pretty slow. Once I started over here, it's been a blast! Been happy to call this place home ever since. :D

And Bruce, you're not the only one. I'm not on facebook, twitter, or any other social networking site.

Same for me. I found pinpics / dizpins quite a while ago, saw Dizpin's forums close, heard about pintalk on the Disney Pincast, went there, and wound up being guided here by Tabbi after I did a pinpics trade with her.

Pintalk just had :D too many :) people who :D talked :D like this :) for my :D level :) of :D tolerance *insert fifty jumping tiggers and winking mickey heads*

To each their own.

Hi
We are so glad you decided to come here..this is the site to be on..I need to see if in the search engines at all
if not WE might have to add it

Judy

I'm a member of lots of forums, Disney, Pin and other. This forum is one of the most active I am a part of, I'm really enjoying it so far.

I think it makes sense for Pinpics to have their own forum, as there are issues that come up from time to time regarding the site that it is good to discuss: records missing pictures, site updates, TA discussions, etc.

But I also think its good to have an independent forum like DPF.
