Does anyone know Foryou from Paris? I mailed them a rather large package for a trade and have heard no response. Their email says it hasn't been renewed. They had decent pinpics feedback, even recently this month.

I think there was a thread before about this person... :-/ They're the one who only does multi-trades, right? I've received multiple trade requests from them, but have never dealt with them personally because I just didn't feel comfortable with the way they came across in emails... :dunno: But I hope the trade ends up going through smoothly for you!

All I've ever heard about this person is bad things =/ I hope it goes well for you though. Can you please respond to my PM? Thank You.

I just did a 3 pin multi-trade with them. Received the pins a few days ago, no problems. I did check references and they had traded with many people I've traded with so I went ahead with it. I hadn't heard or read the negative threads.

I made a trade with them earlier this month. Received the three pins in about three weeks from the original trade date.
I hope things work out for you too.

I've dealt with them. A pretty big trade, over $600.

The only issue I had is that they were charged taxes for mail, and did not accept package, so I had to resend. They paid half to re-send but next time I'm stating that total insured is what's going on it and they have to deal with their postage fee's.

I wasn't about to send a package worth over $600 without insurance!

I received their pins perfectly fine.

Postal service is a nightmare right now, so I'm not surprised its taking do long to get to you!

I've received many requests from him and responses to my requests, but I've never traded with him because I always felt that his trades were very lopsided in his favor. He always wanted 2-3 pins of mine for any one of his. But as I've never accepted his trade requests I can't comment on his reliability. I hope you get your pins soon.

I had a multi-trade with this person that was nightmarish for me... We settled on a trade, I sent his pins to him back in October, promptly, I might add, and he didn't mail my pins out until December 8th - according to the envelope. I just got the pins TODAY. We communicated via email during the beginning of the trade, but I sent him 3 emails asking him when he mailed my pins and got absolutely no response. The language barrier played a factor in the emails and he was very hard to understand. Not only did he take waaay too long to mail me my pins, he said one of the pins he was sending me (which was the most valuable one) was broken, and sent me back one of my pins (that he chose). I felt he should have asked me first since that put the trade at his advantage.

I won't be trading with this person in the future.

I have traded with Mr.Catte a couple of times. There is. Huge language barrier but we work through it.. no problems so far...but yes...the trades are often in his favor. He is not always prompt in sending. I too am waiting. For pins.

When they were new and did not have any ref's about a year ago, they gave my Pinpics reference e-mail to some members here as if it was their reference e-mail.

I was getting word documents with multi pin trade negotiations and did not have a clue. I think they also played a similar trick on Jacqui around the same time.

I too will not be trading or buying from this person again. I purchased pins from them & I could not get responses to my inquiries plus my Emails to them were being rejected, supposedly because my Email was blocked by their server. Thinking it was my provider, I did not give it much thought. The pins did eventually arrive, but they had "forgotten" a couple of pins, which they eventually re-sent........... Another wait.................

Thinking everything was okay once those arrived & giving them the benefit of the doubt, I purchased from them again to complete my series & again got horrible service, no replies to my inquiries at all, so I finally after over a month of no replies, I turned the claim over to Paypal, they too received no replies. I was due to get a refund on the 4th of Jan, but the pins showed up yesterday. 6 weeks after purchasing..
Their complete lack of communication just makes dealing with them very difficult & not worth it.

Bottom line, they will eventually send items promised, but their service & lack of communication really suck. I Will NOT be their customer again, just too frustrating.
They also go by different E-mail addys & names.
All that being said, packages from Europe ARE taking a VERY LONG time, about 6 weeks to get to the USA, as I had 2 other packages that just recently arrived & they too took 6 weeks to arrive.

I have dealt with them multiple times over the last year (bought and traded and from ebay). The language barrier is REALLY bad. I had to start sending messages in French through google translator and that ended up working out the best. Yes, at the end of the day you do get your pins, but communication is usually pretty poor. For trades, I am usually able to negotiate a fair trade, usually their first request may be off.

Recently, I did have a very positive experience with them. I had bought about 5 pins from them from the new releases of limited edition pins around November. The pins did not show up. There was trouble in communication in the beginning and took a week of back and forth, but at the end they agreed to resend my pins. (My understanding if "foryou" is a girl and her guy friend also helps. So there is 2 of them you may deal with) Last, weekend all my pins showed up with a zap (the pins I bought and traded, including the CheshireCat from the recent pin event). I received an email from them checking that I did get my package. So they may be trying to get better on replying.

I will trade and buy pins from them in the future based on this. You just have to expect that the language barrier is going to be annoying.

Did you guys know that this user is actually on the forum, too ? He only comes on from ttime to time to sell pins, but he is a hard trader. I bought pins from him (expensive but worth it for me at the time. And he gave me a cheaper price when I asked) and they arrived safely but not well packaged.

I started off speaking English with him but found it absolutely impossible to follow, and reverted back to French. Let me say however that he is short and abrupt with his responses even in his native language :/
I would be happy to give more information or help serve as a French translator for those that need it - shoot me a pm.

I will no longer trade with them. I have had a couple good experiences, but they have become a pain. The language barrier is a real problem. The final straw for me was they screwed a fellow member here after I gave them a good recommendation. They sent a Dalmations podm that was supposed to have a puppy in the scene and turns out there was no dog at all, just a villains but.

I hope it works out well for you. Good luck.

He reached out to me via email today. He got my pins already and apparently "lost" my address but my pins are in their way now that he could use my return address. :roll eyes: . At least I'm getting my pins. WDI pins for Rack DLRP pins but in the end it was fair as most are Rapunzel and Aurora jeweled hearts.

Yep they did. There is a huge language barrir which translation for some reason doesnt help which is vry uusul as I have a numbr of othr non english speaking friends and google translate works fine. They sell on that place mostly and are looking to collect pins to sell. It is also true to say and this is a bit of a sweeping generalisation that DLRP rgulars in the majoirty of cases value their pins differently than the us. This is of coruse aprticularly true of ptn pins but market value has a lot to do with that even though its settled down a bit.

Auch, that hurts. Wished I had known this before and I got you the pins and traded them rack for rack pins. Please if you ever see something you want from DLP don't hestitate to ask

This person is notorious for valuing their pins ridiculously high. They also only do multi-trades, and every time I've tried negotiating with them, they always turn me down. :\

IDK if i'll ever trade with this person due to their reputation

I recently did a multi-trade with them (I think it's more than one person; there's more than one name on the address they sent me). The trade was fair, but one of the pins arrived with a broken post-- and a big glob of glue on the back that showed it had clearly been broken and glued once before being sent to me.

I emailed them and got a timely response, and they did send back one of my pins. I just mailed back the broken one to them today after I received one of my pins back.

So... I don't know. I did get a timely resolution to the problem (even considering the language barrier and slowness of international post). On the other hand, they did send a broken, glued-together pin in the first place.

I have received many offers from FORYOU. Always very extremely lopsided trades in their favor (example: WDI for rack DLP pins) so I have never accepted their offers or taken a trade further. Good luck!
