OK, so as we near the end of a great year, many of us make new resolutions for the upcoming year. Some of us want to lose weight and start a diet or workout program, others promise to spend more time with family.

But what about Disney & Pins, since this is what the site is all about. Have you been spending too much money on pins and swear to spend less in the new year?

To only trade for what you need?

To spend more on the pins you want maybe.

To go to Disneyland at least once a week or month.

To limit your collection and stop buying every pin you think you like but end up trading later?

Lets hear YOUR New Years Pin or Disney Resolution...........................

Mine is tied into my Kids and I promised to set a time limit when I go to the tables so we have more time for rides, and to buy the more expensive pins I want right when they come out instead of trading 4 times what they are worth later and to have fun no matter what while I do it.

Next..................

* Stay away from Disney Soda Fountain pins, no matter how awesome they may be.
* Have fun.
* Save up and be more prepared for the Halloween pin deluge/frenzy.
* Attempt to complete the Mystery Stamp Pin Collection.
* Do something free, like get a photo with all the Disney characters.
* Get more Disney Aloha shirts.
* Figure out how to become more consistent at Astro Blasters.
:lgm:

I want to save more money so dan and i can buy premium passes this year...
saving that money may include spending less on pins.
this will be a challenge!

go to the park more... buy more pins... trade for more pins... oh yea... get more pins... oh wait...side note... club 33 with my family and a friend wink wink

My resolution seems a bit backwards but its to get the remaining PTN pins I need so all I need for my collection is new releases thus effectuvely saving me money in the long run since I wouldnt have a wants list XD

This is fun. My resolution is to stick to what I collect! This year I started collecting two series that don't fit my Pluto, Snow White, and Muppets themes. This meant I spent more money on those pins than on my permanent collection and got side tracked.

I also want to try to make all the PTN's at WDW this year!

Oh my Pin Resolution for 2012 is to get all the pins left on my wants list!
I need these:

So it might be a bit of a challenge. ;)

I would love to trade more and help Ashley, Shonna, and Scott acquire the pins they need as well, and go to every PTN.

I also need to get off my butt and start framing my pins!

ok so my reselution has a bit to it;) I want my little mermaid collection to grow! I want to do more trades ! like katpogo I also want to focus on my main little mermaid donald duck and nightmare before christmas collections(I have almost a whole page of just random pins I liked!) I would like to get a picture with ariel!(mermaid form prefered does anyone know when a new ariel meet and greet will be opened? if a new one at all:dunno:?only have a pic with her as a little boy! I will post it if I can find it!) and lastely be less shy when talking to cast members or pin traders!:)

My first resolution, is the same as last years: get more pins out of books & bags and into frames/corkboards on the walls where we can see them.

2011, was my first year back into online pin action. So I used it to try and clean up a lot of incomplete sets. I was inspired by Erica's Experiment 626 http://disneypinforum.com/showthread.php?1797-Experiment-626&highlight=experiment and want to do something similar for 2012. After asking what pins DH likes best, I've decided that I'm going to work on catching up on the Animal Kingdom pins that I don't have yet. I think there are about 220 of them. Good news is that it means there aren't a bunch of LE100's. Bad news, I don't think too many people have them on their trades lists. So I foresee more buying than trading.

I still have some "clean up" of incomplete sets to do. In Sept, I created a Top 100 pin group and I would like to cut that down to below 40.

I would love to see my tiny pins collection grow to over 100 pins :) I collect the little mermaid, aiw, and nbc for the most part

(that isn't saying much as I only have 38 pins hehe)

Mine is actually to get back into trading because I stopped a few years ago with a very tiny collection. I forgot how much fun it was. So, when I go to DL in March, I will definitely be stocking up. Oh, and I'm determined to acquire one or two designer princess pins :)

My resolutions are:
1. Frame more pin sets
2. Thin out my collection
3. Sell or trade away my excess pins

And KT07 - I hope you get in to Club 33. It's a really great experience!

Hmmm...

1. I guess mine is to get all my traders organized once and for all. I just bought some of the pages that go in the binders and I SWEAR I am going to stick with those. I've been through bags, etc. and it's time to pick something and stick with it

2. Clean up my pinpics acct AND respond to all trade requests in 24 hours or less (I am BAD sometimes and let them sit there)

3. Get my collection into frames and on the wall downstairs (that my hubby is painting TODAY!)

Aww, this is the sweetest New Year's resolution I've heard in a long time, pin related or not.

Mine are:
- To not loose control when I find a pin I want at eBay and buy a huge amount of other pins just cause they're there
- To get up-to-date in adding all the pins all over the place to PinPics so I know what I have

My Pin resolutions:

*To finally go to a Disney Pin Trading Night at Disneyland
*Visit DSF (for, you know, the pins)
*Meet more of you DPF people (because you guys rock. Seriously. I'm very thankful for being part of this community.)

hmm, mine would be to get more of a traders collection together as we're now planning a hoilday to disney world in 2013 and maybe if money is good to attened a disney paris trading event.
other than that to have fun and finish a few collections ive got going!! :-D

-Definitely need to acquire more traders.
-Make my own pin book.
-Attend at least one PTN @ DLR (I'll admit, these have intimidated me, as I'm still new to trading and I have no one who'll go with me!)

cut WAY back on buying pins....after my trip next week. I wanna list all the pins i didnt trade or give away by Feb. I promise to take my meds for the withdrawl shakes and spazisms and to control my violant outburst towards others (including you guys) due to lack of pin shopping. I will spend some of this energy training for the tower of terror marathon 10k in WDW in sept. MY FIRST, currently i only run to the fridge.
