DisneyStore Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion
If Disney would release a 17" Hans doll on the 3rd of November, when would they anounce him? On the 20th of October? he is the only 17" I need to Computers my collection.

For people looking for lamps. Please excuse the dust. This lamp is from the 2003 Brass Key Jasmine. She is about "16, so this lamp would work well with the LE Aladdin. I was able to pick up Jasmine for $9.99 plus shipping about a year ago, but she runs a bit higher these days. I am sure good deals can be found. Her outer box was damaged, so I just display her still attached to the inner box.

THAT'S PERFECT! It even looks stylized like I expected the lamp to look! Thank you SO much for sharing this. Even the doll itself is gorgeous, so now I am gonna try to track one down.
 
The doll itself is beautiful. Definitely one of my favorite Jasmines. The glass eyes are gorgeous. Hope you score a good deal on her.
 
Some porcelain dolls are pretty,but some can be a little creepy. My sister has this Belle porcelain doll, she's pretty, but her eyes are a little unsettling for me.

Yeah, that looks like another Brass Key. Belle definitely has some creepy eyes going on there. Jasmine's are quite pretty, though. You won't be as creeped out.

I tried to do some best offers on eBay but sadly no one would accept. I will probably have to wait until after I have gotten the Aladdin dolls next week. But again, thank you so much for sharing. I finally know what lamp I can use with Aladdin.
 
Don't be in a rush. Wait it out and you will find a cheap one. Like I said, I found mine for $9.99 plus shipping. Good luck!

I couldn't put my finger on it, but that is probably it. It is such a shame that I don't like majority of the Brass Key Belles or the DS LE 17" Belle because she used to be my favorite princess. I am very hopeful that next year's live action Belle will be gorgeous. I really want a 17" Belle!

I'm hoping for an le Belle too! I can already guarantee that Disney will give her doll longer hair. I just hope they make her skirt wide enough, and not skimp on details.

Disney won’t communicate about the harrods set
Radio disney club, asked disney if they can publish the harrods set ‘s pictures of Aladdin and jasmine since private facebook groups published them already.
Disney answered RDC, to not post them because they don’t want to communicate about the aladdin harrods set . They don’t want to create a call to action. Because the sets are products that are selling fast and to create a call to action will be very deceptive.
so be warn, no announcement this time. Seems the private facebook groups has the upper hands, probably have the link of the items already.

Rumeur : Le coffret serait du même format que la poupée limitée Cendrillon mariée et s’ouvrirait également en 2 volets, dans les tons vert/bleu et doré, comme la collection Art of Jasmine. Aladdin porterait sa tenue de prince Ali et ressemblerait fortement à la poupée Designer Fairytale sorti en 2014. Jasmine arborerait une robe de mariée blanche, extrêmement travaillée, avec un voile blanc et doré. Exclusivité Harrods et en ligne.

Suite à la circulation du visuel sur plusieurs pages Facebook privées, nous avons contacté Disney Store afin de demander l’autorisation de publier ce visuel. Voici leur réponse officielle :

» Ce produit est bien une nouveauté […] leur stock est très rapidement épuisé, et donc nous ne souhaitons pas communiquer dessus. […] Côté customer experience, créer un call to action autour de ce produit peut être très déceptif […] »

According to the French text the release is going to be online and at Harrods... Now just waiting to see what the pictures look like.
 
Interesting that a private Facebook group got the pictures already. I am hoping someone either shares the pictures soon or Disney makes an official announcement tomorrow. I can't buy them even if I wanted to, but I really wanna see some pictures. As for the set being sold at both Harrods and online, that means its gonna go even faster than wedding Cinderella! I mean that low LE number already confirmed it wouldn't be online for long, but I didn't expect them to sell it both at a store and online.

For any of you that are actually going to attempt to go for this set, I wish you all the luck in the world. You're gonna need it. :anxious:
 
Oh yeah I just got that. I thought that mean't that RDC wouldn't be making any more announcements or sharing any pictures about the set, but I misread that. Well that makes things even more complicated then but it does make sense.
 
This wedding Aladdin set thing is sounding more and more insane. What is Disney thinking?! Part of the collecting is the fun of it. This is really being set up to be the opposite of fun.
 
It kind of make me feel better that it's Harrods releasing the set instead of Disney store. I don't know why, I guess because harrods is in London, so it's an exclusive to that particular store.

Its being described as a set that will be sold both at Harrods AND on the Disney Store website. Its not completely exclusive to Harrods as far as we know. Unless I have been reading the information wrong.
