I hope they make the LE slightly different than the current live action dolls. Pretty satisfied already with the current live action dolls set and I don't need expensive duplicates.
 
300 pounds? It takes like 10 bucks to make the thing. I wonder what she's made of. If it's not silk I will try to get her anyway but wow, that's a little crazy.
 
I hope the official pictures of them look better on the blog- those ones look too close to the regular dolls they sell. I was hoping for a little more wow
 
Same here! I had to really look at that picture because I kept thinking they were the regular dolls.
 
I should get some sleep, but now I am too anxious to see the blog's post about the dolls. I seriously need to see them in more detail. Right now they look too much like their smaller counterparts.
 
I don't know... I can't see any difference between these LE dolls and the regular classic dolls?! Just making the classic dolls 17inches and putting them in a way nicer box doesn't make them good LE dolls... And the price tag is ridiculous. But okay, saving some money with not buying them... Compared to the Cinderella LE dolls the new Frozen dolls seem very spectacular. :/
 
While the live action dolls are pretty, I was hoping they'd be sorta like a cross between the live action and animated Cinderellas, like how the LE Maleficent was. Since the original LE Cinderella was fairly meh and not accurate. Don't get me wrong, she's pretty and all but like Myu said, making the regular dolls 17" and putting them in a nice box does not make them worth the price tag. I feel like they won't be that coveted. Although maybe the pics on the blog will be better. But now that someone mentioned an Emma Watson Belle, I can't help but think I'd much rather have that doll lol
 
Overall I think they are more luxurious than the Frozen dolls. But I still had to look at them for several minutes, baffled at how they look so much like the regular ones! I really hope they look very, very nice and they can justify the price of the wedding doll. I am so confused, excited, AND disappointed.
 
Well I know the blog pics are usually much clearer and the dolls always look better in person, but the 2015 LE dolls are making me nervous about Jasmine's doll. I hope she turns out well. I do miss the older LE dolls like Snow White where they were slightly different looking from the character but just regal and beautiful looking. Although I do think March Anna is a phenomenal doll lol. That last Cinderella was so ugh though with the pale pink lips and platinum beehive and super blinged out dress. I was hoping this one would sorta make up for that last fiasco

Don't be disappointed! If you don't like those dolls and don't want them, you are saving A LOT of money and maybe a lot of frustration (because it will be hard getting them i guess). :) But yes, indeed... the lack of detail is disappointing.
 
I do like them, just disappointed that (from the small pic) they look exactly like the regular dolls. I'll try to buy the wedding doll, and will definitely get the ball gown one.
 
Sweet mother of monkey milk, what is it that makes the wedding dress one SO EXPENSIVE? That price will translate to roughly $500USD I think? And with only 250 of them available for the US market I bet she'll only be available online. I'm glad I find the doll face molds for live action Disney films to be super creepy looking so I currently have no desire for these dolls but her dress is really pretty. Still, I've witnessed nights when pins limited to 250 are released so there's going to be a lot of disappointed people that night when it comes to wedding dress live action Cinderella...if people even bother trying for her with that insane price tag.

Exactly what you're saying, Princess K! I think her face looks ugly. :D Really can't stand it. And i don't think this doll is worth supporting it for nearly 500 dollars... I don't know; I think she will sell out fast, but i wish she didn't. Because then Disney thinks of increase the price tag for future releases... And nearly 400 Euros are insulting imho.
 
I just.. I can't understand why it's really that much. They probably made so little JUST so they could get more money out of us with less production costs, knowing how these dolls do on the secondary market and knowing completists. I'm suck! They have to be making a profit of over 300%

I agree she'll sell out in an instant with only 250 of her available on each website (or less if some go to retail stores but they really should make that one an online exclusive). I don't think her instant sell out will raise prices of all other future dolls by that much though. At least, I HOPE not :(

The only way I can see that price justified is if all that colourful flower detailing on her skirt is 100% stitched/embroidered on, not just a printed pattern. But it's impossible to tell with those low resolution images (I'm seriously convinced those are just pictures of the standard playline dolls as stand in images until they reveal the real ones hahaha)

Will pass on Cinderella. Not interested in Live Action variants, thankfully.

Still mulling over the Frozen pair. Hmmm, hmm.

I'm really torn. I want the Cinderella dolls very badly. But should I really be spending THIS much money on DOLLS?? I mean for Christ's sake. This is over $1,000 in one go. I can't decide if I should sacrifice getting Anna and Elsa, or pass on the blue dress Cinderella. Definitely need better pictures first though!
 
So what happens next? ... Will there be a "Platinum" line of the LE dolls?
Platinum Snow White for nearly 400?
Platinum Ariel? Belle? Elsa? Another excuse to do more LE stuff? I don't know, i'm kinda afraid... Would love to see more LE dolls... But not for that price tag...
 
This sounds like someone is testing the waters to see just how much collectors are willing to pay for dolls so I wouldn't be surprised if we do indeed see a new "Platinum" line...
