Yeah, the picture looks a little weird, that's why I think it's a prototype or test item. But I found it on disneystore.co.uk, so the photoshopping must be done by them. Really confusing!

They got in trouble for posting it? Oh god, I will delete my picture then. Sorry y'all! :shock:
 
Super calling B.S. on a Tadashi and Baymax. That literally makes ZERO sense. Why wouldn't it be Hiro and Baymax? And, why would they even make it at all? The film is already released both in theaters and DVD. They missed their prime market time for a product like that. I just don't see that as being real in any way, shape, or form. Not saying I wouldn't buy it if it WERE true lol but I just cannot see it. Sorry! :|
 
I don't know.... But that Hans look pretty promising right now and plus the BH6 dolls were also leaked by the same cast member who said that the LE 17" Hans doll was coming out....
 
That Cast Member should be fired -_- If this crap continues, we won't see LE dolls in the future. Even if they aren't real (and I would assume they are not), I still say shame on them. It really hurts the store's relationship with the studio partnership! Not to mention creates this bit of panic with us collectors. I wish that Disney would just announce things to quell the curiosity and dispel or confirm rumors (based on the situation of course). It is just very tiring!

I would love a Tadashi and Hiro doll set, but a Hiro and Baymax set would make a lot more sense. I do agree that these rumors are getting kind of ridiculous though. Why would they release Big Hero 6 dolls now of all times? The Blu-Ray release date would have made a lot more sense. I am sure that we will get Big Hero 6 dolls somewhere down the road though, especially seeing it is now Disney's third highest grossing animated film. But there sure are a lot of rumors forming lately about Disney and their doll releases, and it is getting really hard to tell what is real and what isn't. It must be where its a D23 Expo year.

On another note, I sadly probably wont be able to get the Cinderella LE doll anymore, so I wish everyone who plans on getting her the best of luck! I am probably going to go for her on the secondary market or save my money for the Aladdin dolls.

EDIT: I apparently missed this whole deal about Hans "supposedly" being leaked on the Disney Store UK website? The one week I wasn't very active here on the forums and I manage to miss all of this...:banghead:

Wow, I'm surprised, because my local store seems to have almost no BH6 merch, and they seem to be trying to unload the Baymax plushies. I kind of regret not getting a GoGo Tomago doll when they had them in stock, but I hadn't seen the movie yet at that point, I had no idea if I'd love her or hate her.
 

It really surprised me when I heard it was that successful too. Which is why it makes how Disney has been handling the film's merchandising all the more frustrating. They didn't give it a lot of attention when the film was in theaters, and they still aren't giving it a lot of attention even now. I don't think its one of Disney's greatest films (I thought The Tale of the Princess Kaguya should have taken home that Oscar), but its still a good film and it deserves more love. The fact that Sergent Calhoun from Wreck-it Ralph got a doll and none of the Big Hero 6 characters did just bugs me :/.

I am sooooo glad you found this out!!! I called customer service today to check on my Elsa order and thought, what the heck I might as well ask....The woman I spoke with had NO idea about LE Hans, and with all the speculation on the forums and FB, I was feeling pretty discouraged for any possibility of any Hans doll being released this century....... But now, woooohooooooo!!!!!!!! HE WILL BE FANTASTIC!!!!!!
 
I don't know what to believe about all this Hans business. I am very surprised that a Disney Store gave away this information esp. if this is supposed to be a true "surprise" release -- which it would be as there were no official announcement. Seems as if they would get into serious trouble for releasing that kind of info. My DS won't even reveal information on dolls that have actually already been announced! I'm not saying it's not true; I think Hans is a definite possibility. But I'm not getting excited one way or another until I see an official announcement or I see him for sale on the website. We'll all know in a couple of days anyway.

Truer words have never been spoken. Friday's not that far away now. And, yeah, I'm surprised that a Cast Member leaked that kind of info, especially if Disney's gone to this much trouble to keep this an ACTUAL surprise release the day of. They could seriously get in trouble now, if Disney's monitoring any of this.
