DSS Princess Calendar discussion <3 [IMG heavy]

Just a note that if you trade for one of these, be sure to ask for photos of the inside as well as outside. On Facebook it was looking like a lot of the August calendars have pinholes on the inside.
 
Belle
Snow White
Pocahontas
and Anna and elsa are left

I think snow and belle will be either October or September

Pocahontas November

Anna and elsa December
 
My bets are:

September - Belle (Back to School; Belle will be reading books)
October - Snow White (Halloween; Snow White with have a candy apple as well as some other candies)
November - Pocahontas (cause it's November and Pocahontas is ALWAYS November)
December - Anna or Elsa (maybe both cause it's winter)

Yeah, if Elsa is on it at all, I would suspect it with Anna. Although when the calendars say "Princess 2014" it doesn't specify if it means literal princess or Disney princess. Given Mulan is not a literal princess in any way, shape, or form, I would think this line constitutes all Disney princesses, in which case Elsa is also one, despite being a queen ^_^

P.S. Ariel makes sense for August because August is the month of traveling (as evidenced by Jessica's calendar last year being her with suitcases) and Ariel always wanted to travel to new worlds ^_^
 
Does everyone think Frozen will be the December calendar? I'm guessing for December and for that pin to be impossible for me to get, except on ebay by paying a really high price. Heavy sigh.

When these were first coming out, I didn't think I'd want them; I don't usually want pins with dates or writing, with a few exceptions. Then they came out with the Merida one, and as a Brave completist I had to have it.

When it arrived... WOW! I hadn't realized how beautiful and BIG these pins were! I immediately went for the rest of the princesses that I collect!
 
Wow, I wish I'd collected this series as it was coming out. Each month is gorgeous. I might try to just track down my birth month (July) since luckily it's also a princess I collect.
 
Beware for this one, though. LOTS of reports on Facebook about switching out pins due to bad quality. If you trade for or buy this pin, ask for good photos of the front, back, and inside.

i looked at mine when I got home and it's pretty bad .... Lots if pin holes in the inside calendar section where it has the month, a few more in the Pocahontas area and the front is very dull compared with other months .... At this point, It's just not worth the hassle to take it back. Quality on the whole series has been pretty spotty ... What a disappointment.



At least they look good from a distance.
