Wow, I've been MIA but I'm at the Coranado now haha - not sure where I'll be for the release but I may drop by :)

Mahrii offered to go and pick up pins at cost for people for the Dec. 6th pins, but that was the in Sale/Wanted Section and that filled up quickly for all the New Fantasyland pins, specifically the Annual Passholder ones and the Gaston's Tavern (Gaston is popular apparently???). If you want, you can go and be put on the waiting list, perhaps someone may drop...

Bumping this up, since the release is happening now. I think my parents have already called 4 times. LOL.

Apparently, they did not allow access to the convention center for lining up early, so 2 lines formed on their own. One inside, by the Pepper Market and then one outside. My parents split up, because they didn't know how a line merge would work. My Dad went inside and my Mom stayed outside. Then, when they merged the line they told the outside people to line up at all the doors, but told the people inside to join the outside line. Then they told the outside people who had started to scatter to reform one line. So some people that were in the front, ended up farther back, so I'm sure there are some people that are unhappy about the lack of a plan of dealing with multiple lines. Then people were led into the hallway, and a few minutes ago let into the ballroom where there is a zigzag queue. They did provide a list with all the merchandise, so people can be more prepared when they reach the cash registers. My parents think there are probably about 100 people or so in front of them, but I don't know how far the line extends.

Wow is it really that busy already? My mom is probably gonna get there around 6, but with edition sizes between 1500 and 2000 for the popular ones I really don't think there is going to be a problem..

I'm on line now - I've never been to a pin event before so to me this line is crazy. It is moving though so that's a good thing, right? :)

Mahrii has been texting. There are at least a few hundred people in line in front of her and at least a hundred (or so) behind her (that was an hour or two ago)

My parents called with an update about 5:45 WDW local time. They were already on their way home. They said they were through the merchandise line about 5:15, but stayed longer to talk with friends. My Mom was impressed by how fast the line moved and that they had so many registers and runners available. But they also said the line was huge.

I was there and it was nuts I feel the staff dropped the ball. I got lucky and joined Laz and his group and a few other friends I had there and was like 10th in line they told us to line up at one door and then changed it to another door. when I left the line was still out the door. Stacey I hope you were able to get something.

Just left. I actually thought it went very smoothly. It was organized and even though the line was CRAZY long I was still able to get everything I wanted!!!! Woohoo!! And the pins! Oh my! The pins are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
