Hi everyone! I wanted to share the new Frozen segment in Celebrate the Magic Castle show at Magic Kingdom in FL featuring "Let it Go". We get to see a lot of Elsa in this projection.

**SPOILER ALERT** It contains some clips already out to the public as well as some new short clips. While it only lasts 1:40 I wanted to give a heads up. I just think its great that we can finally listen to Idina Menzel's recorded version of the song. ♥♥♥ So excited for this movie, my love for Elsa continues to grow! ♥♥♥

Idina's Voice :bowdown::bowdown:

I know right? I am so pumped for this movie words cannot describe it. My husband wants next Tuesday to arrive in hopes that I will tone it down, but I think it will only get worse,

You know.. The entire song is now up on the Disney award website, right?

Personally, I was very disappointed.

I am so excited for this movie! I'm trying to keep myself in the dark for the most part plot-wise, but what I have seen is amazing. "Let it go" is amazing--one of Disney's best songs if you ask me! And with Ms. Menzel's phenomenal voice, it really sells it!
I've been listening to the song for about half an hour on repeat, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon!

I think I've decided I'm gonna try for Elsa as well. I just don't think I could live with myself if I missed out when I had the chance, and then end up regretting it later on. If I don't fall in love with her, I can always sell her to someone else (hopefully on here). But yes, I just don't think I can pass Elsa up.

And of course Anna has been anticipated since August, so she's definitely getting picked up as well. :)

SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! AH!!! I can't wait!!! Im gunna set an alarm for like every minute from 2-3 lol!!! Im also gunna try to stay up till then, but I'm usually very unsuccessful at that...its bad lol! I can't wait to get them!!!

Such a lovely doll!! Can't wait till I get mine. My store is going to have four of them so I'm definitely going to have to get them online. I am not risking going to the store and not finding them or having a crazy long line for just those four. Not looking to staying up until midnight but I gotta do it!!!

And those shoes Elsa have are super cute! I would have liked the silver ones but they still have a little heel on them and they have icicles on them!

No, I did not, and I've been hunting for links. Most I'd heard since D23 was the World of Color clip. It's nice to FINALLY hear it again. Sorry it disappointed you, but thanks for the heads up!

Even with the lousy acoustics, it was INCREDIBLE live.

For those of you who want to hear the full version of Let it go:

I love the song. The verses are very well written and have a heavy emotional feel to them. The chorus has some really clunky lyrics that they should have re-written.

The orchestration.... is bland. I honestly couldn't even make it out, and as a result, I am having a had time listening to it because Idina's voice is so powerful and high and there's nothing weighing it down. I really hope we get the world of color remixed version because THAT is what it should have sounded like.

But.. It's still a good song, and Im pretty sure I'm gonna be listening to it non-stop from now till next year..

You know what I just realised ?
I think that one of the reasons I don't like let it go is her voice. Idina is a super talented person and I am not denying it at all - but i feel like it's a weird pitch and not high enough for my liking.
An when you see the beautiful art work for Elsa I just think that idina's voice didn't match what I was expecting/my personal taste.

I really like Demi Lovato and her version of Let it go is amazing to me. So this version is just not as good to me. :(

Yeah the Demi version is more of a pop version of the song whereas the Idina one really has more of a musical feel to it because of the theatrics throughout the song. But I do agree with DisneyOlivia in that whilst I love Idina my main fear is that her voice will seem weird with the way that Elsa look especially since Idina's voice can get a little shrill like when she hits the higher notes and can look weird when seeing that on a cartoon character that has softer features. But based on reviews so far it sounds like she does portray Elsa well and whilst it may take some getting used to the important thing is that by the end of the movie you totally forget that that is Idina doing the voice and just think of it as Elsa. I just cannot wait for this movie to come out! So excited for tomorrow too!!

I actually think that people who know Idina and know that she is voicing Elsa, will see her instead of Elsa. But the general public who doesn't know her won't have a problem distinguishing them.

This album version from my experience sounds more like a working demo.

I knew the names of all the voice cast as a child and it did not effect me seeing the character as simply that in a story. I could quite easily believe Liz Callaway in multiple animated roles just as Jodi Benson did more than a mermaid. As for Idina, I liked her work as Nancy.

Not everyone is blinded by a well known name. That is what makes the difference in having a great actor who can embody the emotions, making the character believable, otherwise the story would fall apart.
