Hey I have a question for anyone who can compare singing Elsa and LE Elsa (or if anyone doesnt have them but can help me guess from pictures)

To me it looks like Singing Elsa has an unsymmetrical smile like she is smirking. Doe the LE doll also have this, in the mould and the paint?
 
the wait for frozen is killing me!!!!

Ive been watchng the video of the let it go section from World of Color over and over :lol:

One of my worries for the film is Elsas voice compared to Anna, Im guessing they'll do a duet! Kristen Bell is lovely but her voice is going to be so over shadowed by Idina :lol:, Idina is incredible and her voice is so powerful I cannot WAIT. I am a huge Wicked fan and listen to the soundtrack almost everyday :lol: so i'm so excited for Elsa speaking/singing/EVERYTHING! I just worry about Anna singing :lol:

Dont usually listen to Demi Levato but I am loving the song Let it Go, I did find that the video clip could have used a bit more editing though. Dont know if you guys noticed it but near the end of the song, probably about 30 secs before the end of the song when she enters the room and starts pulling the sheets from the furniture you will notice that she doesnt pull the sheet from the one to the right of her then it goes to a clip shot and then back to her and the sheet is gone and you can see the furniture then they go back to another clip shot and then back to her and the sheet is back on the furniture again.

I sorta wish someone picked that up because whilst it is the minor detail it does stick out like a sore thumb and Im surprised no one did spot it during editing...

I was worried about that too, but I think Kristen Bell definitely holds her own! :)
 
My store just continues to not get the singing Anna in :( I'm so upset!! I caved and bought the Snow Globe today while I wait. Its a lot nicer in person. I kind of bashed it and made fun of it when it came out because I thought it was lame, but its gorgeous in person!

Singing Anna is online :D I know it's nice not having to pay shipping, but it's a matter of is waiting worth the 5-7$ it costs to ship it?

I'm the same way. I like to look at all of them before making a choice. I'm getting very impatient waiting for her to appear in my local stores though... Come on, Anna...sing for us! :lol:

I was impatient, plus I actually plan on customizing the two dolls I ordered. I got both Anna and Elsa. Also the 25% discount that happened last week didn't hurt.

I am same! I need to make sure they're perfect first :lol:! I don't have a DS in my town and the next time I go to one will be the 30th! So fingers crossed they have some nice dolls! :x:
 
I am not a doll collector but I SO understand !!! I was looking at the normal Elsa dolls and thinking about buying one, but some of them had weird hair that was already 'de-coiffed' or like almost windblown looking, and others were perfect haha :)

I haven't had a nitemare yet but I have been going back and forth on if I'm going to try ordering online at all or just depend on getting one of the four sets my store will be getting...I don't want to end up with my online order getting cancelled or shipped incorrectly nor do I want two sets of dolls lol...I do want to be able to look at them and decide but i normally get better edition numbers from the website...then I could not order online and miss out on the four sets my store gets and be completely without...hopefully I can figure out the best strategy soon bc time is running out to prepare lol...I'm afraid of a real life nitemare too! Hopefully what others have said about them being new and not as well-known as we think will keep it easy on us obtaining them :-)

OMG 4 sets?! Is that was every store gets? My store told me that its all hush hush, they don't have anything on display and its all first come-first serve. Trying to figure out what time I'm gonna get there. Seriously contemplating 4 am.

Yeah! When I go my Merida doll last year I checked all of them to find the one with perfect hair :lol:

Yes its still kinda quiet but I shop there so much the manager knows me and told me. They only received four sets of Ursula and Eric also. There were almost 20 people in line for 4 sets...they are hoping that it doesn't get too crazy as marketing has increased and more children are also becoming aware of Frozen! It is first come first serve that's what I prefer best with this limited quantity bc a raffle would be hard with four of each...yes if I go in store I definitely will get there early although the store doesn't open until 10am.
 
I have had doll nightmares before too, around this last Designer Couple sets were the worst. I swear I had four or more about them, one where there were hundreds of people for a release, one where I missed the raffle, one where somewhere in fine-print it said you had to pre-order, and one where the only dolls left were damaged and horribly disfigured. Doll nightmares are the worst kind of nightmares, because at any given time... they could be made real! Ooooooooooo :phineas:

I'm not sure how many my store will get, but when I asked the manager he said "You should be good, we're getting more than enough to accommodate everyone's needs." which kind of perplexed me... For Ursula and Eric, my store only got five of each, and these aren't that much bigger of an edition size... but how can he know they'll have enough? Are they getting a lot? I would hardly say five of them is "more than enough to accommodate everyone's needs" so I'm trying to speculate exactly what he means by that, and whether I need to get up at 6:00 AM to go, or if I can get there more around 8:00. Last time for Eric and Ursula, I was up there by 6:00 and not many people were far behind me for the release, but I was first in line. GAH!
