Frozen Disney Store Merchandise, What are you looking forward to? (Contains Spoilers)
so if I have this right thats a promotional code? because I have a 20% personal code too... can that make 35% reduction or am i dreaming?
Yeah, pretty much all the Frozen merch has been excluded from the sales save for the Friends and Family 25% off sale. However, I totally scored with my Frozen mugs. When I pointed out that the mug sale didn't specify certain mugs were excluded and was only based on price point, the cashier gave me the discount and I combined it with the 25% off. Picked them both up for a little over $6 each in the end! On an unrelated sale note, I also was able to combine offers and get some ornaments for $6 each. Lovely shopping day. XD
As for the Merida dolls going down to $4 for the basic doll and $6 for her singing one, that was because they were clearing stock. The problem with that is it's a gamble; they may or may not have them long enough to mark down that low so you may miss out by not getting them now. :/

qith the alice and qoh being your grail and there not being that much different between le sets I would have your cake and eat it too by getting the alice set and the higher les
I agree! Queen of hearts and Alice definitely! They are one of a kind! At least with the Harrods dolls they are extremely similar to the ones coming out next week so I'd definitely go with Alice and QoH
Ok so I have a question and just want to know some thoughts...I am falling for Frozen the more I read/watch clips/buy merchandise much like the majority of everyone on this thread lol but I have a choice that has been given to me by hubby...I thought I made my clear decision, but meing human I'm going back and forth and probably beginning to be really greedy in a way which is not my usual manner. Here's the decision: the Harrods set or Alice and Queen of Hearts....almost same price give or take $200...he said I could have only one of the two choices...I thought I decided on Alice and QoH bc they were my grails for LE 17" and was ecstatic to even be able to get them...now I'm wondering if I will be crazy to pass up le100 for two le500s...of course he said I can still get each le2500 with Alice and Qoh....Is this just selfishness me thinking about the Harrods? Is this just a temporary selfishness? Man, I feel so ungrateful...need sense slapped into me bc he is giving me what I've asked for and I'm thinking of more...Im sorry for ranting/complaining/bothering anyone who reads this and thinks I crazy for even posting such a comment...
Haha dont worry about your post as you are allowed to ask anything on the forum so long as if it is not too offensive or demeaning of other members LOL. I agree with Agent of Anarchy in that there are little differences between the Harrods set and the single sets of 2,500 as a result the LE 100 is not really LE 100 other than the fact that they are just boxed together and sparkle more which makes then that tiny bit more special but in my opinion if I had a choice I would go for the Alice and QoH because they are unique and becoming rarer to find, also Alice to me looks more like a classic doll, whereas the Frozen ones are more modern. If you are going to go for the 2,500 editions as well then I definitely believe that Alice and QoH is the way to go because then you will still end up with one of each. Good luck!
Thanks Jennisney! I seem to be stressing for no reason I guess; its a no brainer still! Oh and I see you got the Frozen Jumbo pin! Congratulationswas it a smoother experience than the US release?
No unfortunately I wasn't able to obtain the pin from DS! It sold out in seconds!! But the lovely Steve sold me one for cost!! I am so grateful for it
Was there a delay on the website again? Well I'm happy you were able to get it and at right price!
Well it was only 150 pins reserved for them and maybe because it was announced on their website more people were prepared...are there more pin collectors versus doll collectors? Will it be this brutal next week?
Pin collectors have definitely been around longer than the doll collectors for sure (at least in terms of Disney doll collectors). Also don't forget pins are generally relatively cheaper than the dolls in most cases. With exception of a few sets such as the designer lines most pins are in most cases affordable and as a result there are more people out there willing to spend the money to buy them compared to the dolls which generally set you back at least $100. Because of this there is generally a larger market for pins than there are for dolls.
Also there is the stigma that dolls are generally more for women than men therefore this would deter some men from purchasing the dolls as well. Not necessarily the case but it wouldn't surprise me if some men pass on buying the dolls even if they like them due to this stigma.
