I got my Elsa today! She's gorgeous, I almost can't believe she's here. But since she's technically my Christmas present from my parents I can't officially "open" her until the 25th. But she's here and she doesn't seem to have anything wrong with her so I'm pleased as punch xD.
 
I've already mentioned this, but after seeing the movie, I'm even more annoyed that there wasn't a DAC Kristoff doll. He was too cute! So was his friend (I'm leaving it ambiguous to keep from spoiling).

Instead of posting a pic of them, I'll link it instead. That way you can choose whether or not you want to see it. It's the best one I could find:

I'm going to hold on to false hopes that there'll be some more merch released with the blur-ray and that we might see a LE and DAC Kristoff.

As for the movie, it WAS amazing and I can't wait to see it again tomorrow. Let It Go was the best part, and I love Elsa even more than I did from pix and trailers. I like Anna a lot more, too.

To anyone who hasn't seen it, make sure you stick around after the credits for a cute scene.
 
I was trying to limit my DAC collection since they are so large.. but I would totally throw that out the window for kristoff and his friend!!! Also, a 17" kristoff for my Anna would be amazing :D
So... whats the plan to persuade disney that they need to make these? petitions? facebook flooding? inception??
count me in.
 
So excited, just got free tickets to a preview screening of Frozen this Saturday! If you're in the UK go to your local DS and you can get up to 4 tickets to the preview screening for free if you say the phrase on their Facebook page :D Now I get to see the movie a week earlier than I would have done!

Oh my gosh, went to see Frozen yesterday with my best friend and it was GREAT! Disney did an excellent job with all the snow and ice especially. While different than what I was thinking, the movie's plotline was pretty good too. What made the day even better was my LE Anna came Tuesday and Elsa Wednesday safe and sound!

On a semi-unrelated note, does anyone know if any Frozen merch will be on sale for Black Friday? I want to see if I can score a good deal on a Sven plush and possibly the Anna and Elsa toddler dolls. I'm not a baby doll collector at all so I was resisting getting them, but then the movie just reinforced how cute they are. XD

Nope. Disney doesn't put their newest release merch on sale. Maybe you can hold out for the next family and friends discount? I got my Frozen stuff on the last one, but I regret not getting more and will hold out for the next 25% off entire purchase sale. There's bound to be another before Christmas :)
 
Today and tomorrow's "additional 20% off" will work for the frozen stuff, but Im trying to hold out for a plush sale for getting sven >>

Haha, I'm known for holding out for a good deal. I thought the Friends and Family sale only comes twice a year though? Is there another common sale promo I don't know about? Seeing as Sven would be for me, there's no rush to get him before Christmas (though it'd be nice :3 ).
 
store? Its an online only promo, for today and tomorrow. You have to type "thanks" into the promo section during check out. I tossed an Anna plush in my cart to double check and it seems to work for me >>
 
Saw Frozen yesterday and absolutely LOVED it! :) I can't wait for my dolls to come in! I do hope they make a LE Elsa in her coronation dress, i loved it! I loved Elsa, but I think it's cause I'm biased just cause I love Idina Menzel. :)

btw. i want my own Olaf..trying to get my boyfriend to make it happen haha!

now..just need to get the soundtrack! can't wait to blast it in my car haha!

If they make a LE Elsa in her coronation dress, it could be one of the best.

The black part of her dress, and the lining and the inside of her cloak is velvet.

I just hope they make it as big and as long as the movie.

I don't know about you guys... But I really wanted them to release the winter sets alone, and then sell a coronation set with both of them together.

Yep! when I saw it when I saw the movie, I fell in love with it! i was like ahhhh!!!! DOLL!!!! :P

Just wanted to say I was totally WRONG!!!! I jut got back from the disney store, where I got 20% off my Frozen merch. The sale applied at my store and according to the sign it applies to everything except movies and LE items!!!
 
You can go get the same exact Sven at JC Penney's this weekend for $10. They have the Parks Olaf for $10 as well. Just as nice of quality as the Disney Store AND it's bigger.
