Okay, so I am starting to build up my traders...and I need YOUR help!

What pins do you want to see on my trades?

I want to make it my goal this year to trade with lots of new people on here who I have never traded with including others who I have traded with, so I need some help as to what is popular etc...

I have several good Japanese pins to trade but looking to get other pins so that I can trade them on.

What characters are good to trade?

Any popular themes or anything?

Who is NOT popular?

(Please help me compile a list) As some of you know, I collect Princesses and LK so I do not know much about others.

So far, the list of popular characters are:

  • Stitch
  • Characters as other characters / dressed up
  • Rapunzel
  • Princesses - which ones? Rapunzel definitely. Ariel. Belle ?
  • Alice in Wonderland

List of popular themes are:

  • Marquees
  • DSF pins
  • Reveal/Conceal Pins
  • Japanese Pins

Not Very Popular Pins are:

lol your top 2 (Stitch and Characters Dressed as Other Characters) are both pretty much right up my alley ^_^ I really hope we can trade later this year, I still haven't traded with you you know xP
 
Pin Trading Nights, Disney Auctions, and other Paris pin are very popular. Jessica Rabbit is semi popular.

Definitely UP - such a great film. Yes sadly fab 5 are not desirable; have a few in my collection that nobody wants lol

Looking at some pins of this sort as we speak. Do you collect Winnie the Pooh? Looking at a Japan Winnie dressed as a ladybug? I am sure we will trade this year!

Well... here are the pins I collected: Brave, The Little Mermaid, Tangled & Beauty and the Beast/ ( I also love any the DSF pins)
 
Tangled, UP!, Brave, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Stitch and Jessica (although maybe not so much recently?), PTDs, 1951 Alice, Auctions, DS.com, R/C girls (maybe except Miss Piggy, Jessie, etc?), PODMs... those are what come to mind when I think of popular themes On a side note, is it just me or is Aladdin getting a tad more popular?
 
Yes, villain pins aren't very popular. However, I see a lot of people with GREAT villain pins in their traders but they only want princess pins; this makes it hard to trade. I also notice everyone wants the latest DSF/WDI pin releases so if you can get your hands on those, do it. However the latest releases only stay hot for so long then many of them end up selling for cheap a year or two later... it all depends on the characters on the pins. Stick with the list you've compiled and you should be fine!!
 
The other thing that I have to laugh about is someone in China with evil counterfeiting plans is reading this thread and will leave my beloved villain pins alone!! hahahaha
 
I think if you go with the popular tradeable topics such as princesses, or specific characters such as rapunzel, stitch, Ariel etc etc....they're always really popular!! If you got any UP pins I'd love to trade!!!!
 
definately up. But I went to a trading even this weekend. There were several people that collected Chip and Dale. Then I have tried to do a few trades lately and they were chip and dale people too. lol
