As you know, the wifey and I are new to this but we have tons of pins laying around and need ideas. I thought of getting some pin books from WDW but they are butt ugly.

Pics would be great if you feel like showing off!

I put mine on canvases since they're not on the wall, but that's my collection not traders. Obviously once I make a hole it's there for good, so it takes up a nice amount of my free time planning them out :-)

I keep my special pins in 12" by 18" wood pin display cases. Costs a little bit but really protects the pins, and with the glass top I can still show them off. The rest of my collection I keep in Pin Bags. I also like cork boards as wall art (great conversation piece) but live in a windy area so the pins would collect to much dust.

I keep some of mine on the wall mounted in a spoon display rack made of wood with a beautiful glass door that latches. I just easily removed the spoon racks and ended up with a nice black velvet backround to push the pins into! I bought it at a Michael's art store. There should be one near you. I also found an antique curio cabinet about 2 or 3 feet tall for $100.00.

I do the same thing, but I like to wear my pins to the park too. So in order to hide the holes in the canvas, I cover it with black fabric. You can't see the holes in the fabric and it makes the pins pop.

The day before yesterday, I put all my pins on a sheet of beige foam and framed it. I really love the way it looks. I'm planning on posting a thread later today with pictures, if you're interested.

When I started "collecting," I used to pin them to my purse, but I lost a couple pins that way (nothing major as I was 16ish and only had OE's purchased in the parks). I keep considering trying this again, specifically with my favorite pin (Ariel holding the fish bone pen, I don't know the number), as it's already slightly damaged (I got it on ebay forever ago and it was scratched, but not horribly). But I realize I'd probably never find that pin again if I lost it, so I haven't yet. That being said, if anyone knows how to permanently adhere metal to suede (or a locking pin back that is guaranteed not to fall off), I would love to display it that way!

I have these seaweed boards for "The board guys" and then we have 2 WDI Sorceror Mickey trading books. One for traders and one for keepers. I have too many pins though so I'm gonna either get another book or move to binders with baseball card holders inside.

I bought 4" binders that were white from Costco. I then can add lables to the sides and front of what is in it.

For the pages, I use sheet protectors and 6 recycled pages of paper. I just pin the pins right through it all. For pins with boards I tape the pins to the top paper and slide it all inside the plastic.

Thinking of making the corkboard outlines of Char and pin the pins of that char to them. Then have them around the house to show them off.

I don't wear my keepers.

Most of my pins stay in my pin bag. The Lion King ones go on a corkboard on display with the rest of my TLK stuff :)

I have a few cork boards. Nothing perm on the walls yet. I am still haphazardly completing sets and delaying framing them :( Anyway, I have the cork boards set up to hold my keepers but have them displayed so I can see what I DO have and what I still need. When done with a collection, I plan to frame it. Being so indecisive I have had a hard time coming up with a final design for each frame lol. I keep seeing such AMAZING ideas from the Gallery that I keep changing my mind on my final design.

What do I keep the pins in? Pin Bags, Binders, Cork Boards and small drawer organizer (like a garage nut and bolt organizer) to separate themes until they have a home elsewhere :)
