How long have you been collecting pins?

I started in december 2011. I bought as first pin PTN Rapunzel, at the beginning I was only interested by Rapunzel pins but now I am also in love with Stitch pins. But I am falling in love everyday with new collections ... I pretty scared to become addicted very soon, I am currently trading some pins with other members and I am very excited about this !

I started in October 2009 as well, first official pin purchase for me was the UK grape soda pin so I always have a reminder of when I started so I won't forget. So I have technically in the 3-4 year section as well so I chose 1-3 years.

I picked up my first pins when we visited WDW in 2000 and then was over the moon when I discovered EBay and then again when DLP started trading I became hooked!!

we started collecting in 2004 little bit at a time our collection really started to grow two years ago.

Got my first pin around 1996, and started collecting a year or so later. Scary! where's all that time gone?

As an actual collector, less than a year. The first Disney pin I bought was waaaaay back in the day... I think it was either a Nightmare Before Christmas or a Headless Horseman pin from the local Disney Store. Then I would pick up a few more here and there, like when I went to Disneyland for the first time in 2005 and Tokyo Disney in 2009. However, I didn't start deliberately collecting pins until our trip to Disneyland this past May. Seeing all the people with their pretty lanyards and accomplishing a trade for a pin of Stitch on the Astro-Orbitor caught me the bug.

ive been collecting two and a bit years years, but i got sick so i didnt do much buying or anything for nearly year and then early last year really kick started again

I have been to Disney 10 times. Probably not as many as a lot of you. lol My kids 11 and 14 though have been 5 times. I always actually avoided it. lol I thought, oh what a money trap, and not wasting my ride time. Well this past Dec 2012. My dd 11 wanted to give it a try on about our 3rd day, then me and then dh. We loved it. Ds 14 thought we were crazy and still does. lol So we are still very new to it.
