Now that Christmas time has rolled in, it seems like all of the ebay sellers are listing pins on my wants list :drool:. I recently bought two of my sister's grails, and just can't afford any other pins right now, so I feel like a kid looking through the window of a toy store:shock:. Anyone else feel the same way?
 
Haha I was seriously your bad conscience last week I think I was living vicariously through you!!! Getting a grail is just too amazing of a feeling though.
 
ITA. There are soo many good ones on ebay right now.

But also there are some really great deals, because sellers need the money for Christmas, so they are pricing to sell!
 
Yes! I've spent way too much money on Ebay lately. I have to stop now, because we're going to WDW in 2 weeks and I need cash for that. But there are a lot of good deals.
 
I feel the same way about looking through the glass window. I kinda compare it to the First scene in a Christmas Story. When all the kids are looking at the toy display.
 
Oh definitely! Just last night I purchased 4 of the pins in my signature! Still need the Minnie icon & the 3 Minnie's flowers, tho. AND, I put an offer on the entire set of Mickey's Professions mystery pins! My credit card is literally sobbing!~
 
Lol I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way. Thanks for being my support group guys. Last year, I told myself I was going to save extra money for good deals I find on ebay, just because I got some super deals last year ($2-5 LE pins on Christmas day). Well for the last few weeks, pins that I never see on ebay have been popping up and I just couldn't pass them up. They were at better prices than I've seen them in the past, so I feel good about the purchases... but now I have no money for the super great deals

But yes, you are totally correct PixarPerils, sellers are in need of money right now and pricing them to sell. Just wish I had enough money to take advantage of the awesome deals
 
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one! Ive started to feel really bad about the amount of pins Ive been buying lately, and thought it was time to stop turning the computer on, just so I can't check Ebay!! But as many of you have said, my wants keep popping up on there, and its so difficult to resist!
 
Yes. I am trying to avoid ebay at the mo. I have spent lots on the new UK pin set and have no money left.
Plus I have promised (unwisely lol) my parents that unless its a UK pin I wont be buying anymore till after Christmas as I have asked for a load for Christmas.
 
I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one trying to avoid Ebay LOL. I honestly thought I was the only person doing it. I'm bidding on 3 right now, and of course 2 others just popped up that I want. I just don't have the money right now, hopefully they will show up again. No more pins for me until 2012 I'm afraid.

I actually felt as though prices went up a bit ---maybe just what i want ----hey can anyone explain to me how to add "holy grail pics" onto your signature area, if thats what you do? I hope santa brings you all your wishes everyone!!!
 
I too am having this problem... What I do, is I add them all to my Christmas list... I use a fabulous website to create my list and there is the ability to "link" to the gift and I just add the "search" I did on ebay.. so the gift giver will get the current search lol. It served me well last Christmas, however, I have purchased about 10 off of my wants list anyway hehehehehehee.
 
I'm seriously crying over my shopping window. I'm going to WDW this weekend and money is tight and there is so much I want to buy. And the worst - I don't use credit cards so I can't charge anything either. But somehow I'll survive this ordeal and things will get better. There are some good deals on eBay and someone I know is shopping way too much - won't mention his name, but he knows who he is. I'm practicing patience and restraint - only because I can't afford to be extravagant

Well, I Do have a big problem with all of this I Can't help myself sometimes even though I truly know I shouldn't. I have put myself in the hole time in and time out already and Still I can't stop myself from being Addicted to this "Disney CrAcK!!!!!" LoL

I was having that problem a couple months ago, but now not so much only because I have totally banned myself from eBay! It's been over a month since I've even looked. Sometimes it's hard, 'cause there's a lot of pins I'd like, but I have other things to save for too and I was getting a little too pin-crazy for a bit. My husband I are really hoping to make it to Tokyo Disney, so I just keep reminding myself of that goal when I want to spend money on pins.
 

Lol I need to follow in your footsteps, patience and restraint! That is going to be my new motto. However, if one of those "I never see this pin on ebay" pops up again, I'll be snatching it up quickly and painfully
