I really hope I can get Eric, I am still debating Ursula, but I really want Eric. I would love to have them all 3 next to each other, but I am not too crazy about her lower body, I was hoping for longer tentacles. October 1st is going to be horrible. I just want it to be over with already.
 
Thanks for the fast replies. I just picked up my Jasmine and Aladdin doll and my store is only getting in 5 Ursula's & 5 Eric's. I'll definitely try my hand online first, but if not, I'll be in line when the doors open :)
 
Ah!!! I'm sooo nervous about Oct 1!!! I'm going super early to try to get them but I fear there will be a huge group by the time I get there.....I've never had a problem getting the dolls before but I'm sooooo worried about these two because of how publicized they've been :anxious:
 
Yay! I Got Jasmine And Aladdin Today! But OMG The Turn Our Was Huge! And I Was Called 2nd To Last! Major Change From When Snow White Came Out....... next Up Is Belle And Ursula And Eric........... That Is Not Going To Be A Good Day...... Im Praying Now!
 
I am trying to be optimistic. Every limited doll this year has been obtainable, even the China Doll, for those who are diligent about it. I do think Ursula will sell out fast, but nothing like the Designer complete set that was gone in a couple of minutes. I am going to try not to think about those first couple of days in October, so I can stay positive and my fingernails can stay nice. :)

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that the UK updates its website at 8am to coincide with the 12am release. So that means that the dolls will not be available online on the UK website until 8am. This prevents people from the UK getting the items prior to their release in the US. Mind you this is not always the case as highlighted by the release of the Designer Fairytale line the UK and Euro market was able to purchase the dolls a day before the US because they released them online on a Tuesday instead of the Wednesday online release and because of the time difference the UK would get the dolls before the US sells them in stores on a Tuesday and way before the online US release on aWednesday.
 
Sooo if you're in Calgary, Canada, there is only gonna be 1 Disney store that's gonna be selling the LE Ursula & LE Prince Eric & that's South Centre. & they're only carrying 10 Ursula & 8 Prince Eric. Sooo excited!

I'm new to this collecting and pre-orders does the doll ship on the 1st or is it sent early so it arrives on the first?

They laugh while most of us are having panic and anxiety attacks....I really can't wait until this madness is over. In theory it will never end because their will always be wonderful dolls released, but these past and next months are excruciating!
 
what do you guys think is the best way to get both dolls online? my biggest worry is having one in the cart and by the time i get the other in the cart or finish the payment theyll sell out!

There is no right way because the payment process can take a couple of minutes and sometimes getting a doll into your cart can take time. I am picking my favorite of the two and buying it first then going back for the other one. I have all of my payment and shipping information saved to save steps. I know others can get both dolls into the cart fast and then do the check out process. It's just that I am sure I want Ursula, but won't be heartbroken if I don't get Eric.

I am a fan of using multiple devices, if you can. For some things when I knew they'd be popular, I would set up my computer and my iPhone and would get one in the cart and be multi-tasking with my phone to get the other. It is especially nice if you are experiencing lagging on the computer, because you can just use that waiting time to further your phone's progress. I've also done it in the past with two computers (desktop and laptop.) I'm a good multi-tasker though and am very technology oriented, so it isn't for everyone. My theory is that if you do them at the same time on different devices, it eliminates the time damage you might receive with just one device because of lagging or site crashes and once you get one in your cart for one device, you can zip through the checkout and finish whatever stage you were on with your other. I would definitely suggest going for the one you want more first though, because all is possible with these releases.
 
I love Ursula, I believe Disney has a hard time with her because technically she's never really the size Disney sets her out to be since she has no legs and her height comes from stretching out her tentacles and relying standing her with them.
The supposedly 12" Ursula to me it's not scale accurate next to a 12" Ariel because well she's suppose to be a huge octopus being mean to a beautiful mermaid :). So I like that the ( 17" ) Ursula will look great next to a 12" Ariel.

Oh Disney! I start at the top admiring her beautiful rooted hair, outstanding make up, little details like earrings, necklace, mole, skin color. Then what happened at the bottom? hehe... I'm sure they were going for this:

like how there's tissue connecting the tentacles. In my opinion, great idea, but should have given her a fit and flare gown with the attached tentacles. ( thought that's what she was wearing ). But overall, hopefully, she will be a great additional to my collection :D
 
Somehow I missed the whole thing on the 17' dolls. I think I assumed they were the designer series and never paid attention. OMG! What a dork I feel like. I now do not have a Cinderella doll. So sad!

Well, she is very beautiful, I finally went through this thread and saw the pictures.

huertajv: Cinderella is still pretty easy to get though. Plus she doesn't sell for the outrages prices, on eBay you can get her for about $150 and sometimes even less! So there is still hope to get her for a good price ;)
 
Im going to hit the store on the first to get Belle/Beast. If I feel drawn to and get Ursula/Eric I will, but right now I think Im going to pass on them. too much at once, my credit card is crying.
