I know its probably a long shot but... if anyone happened to have an extra Ariel and would like to trade/partial trade/sell, please pm me! I'm so sad I missed her, all these pics of her are so beautiful!

I think I'm liking the Ursula pics the most, at the moment anyway - my dolls should be here tomorrow so will see what Ithink then! Thansk for sharing the pics! I love ariels bracelet she has on, didnt notice that before...and Ursulas hair.....love it!!
 
I haven't recieved a shipping email yet, but hopefully my order won't be cancelled. I'm still shocked at how fast they sold out online.

Wow, Ariel's LE sold out on the UK site, haven't really ever seen it that fast on an LE with that edition size.

Congrats to everyone who got a doll or dolls. Looking forward to seeing my Ariel, though I would've loved Ursula if I'd had the money. But oh well, Ariel was my main one. Not sure how I'll be able to afford the Frozen LEs yet haha.

If you get a 'thank for your order' does that mean it's been placed?

Wow. My friend in Hawaii ordered TWO Ariel dolls, just in case one got damaged, (she is a stickler for condition), and they both arrived like this:



I doubt they will be able to find replacements. :/ This is outrageous. The way they ship these dolls is absolutely unacceptable.

Oh my gosh EP, that's awful! And both of them, no less. I've only bought one LE doll direct from DisneyStore.com and was nervously surprised to find my Ariel came in a tight box with just a thin layer of tissue paper "protecting" the box; was your friend's dolls shipped like that too? As for what Disney can do about it, do they ever just let you keep the doll(s) and offer a partial/full refund?
 
I'm not sure what they will do in this situation. I hope they find her a replacement. She has never missed an LE doll before so I don't think she will be happy if this is what she is stuck with

Has anyone gotten their shipment confirmation e-mail yet for Ursula and Eric? It seems like they should ship out today. I don't have mine yet and my Belle/Beast shipping address was all screwed up. I am desperate for some reassurance! Oh and I am so sorry about your damaged Ariel dolls. It's ridiculous that they aren't boxed better!

My Ariel is due today too. I'm in the US and no shipment notifications yet. My order still says active and when I called the Disney store she said the dolls are being processed for shipment. I hope your Ariel turns out perfect!
 

Actually each store (at least ours) puts 2 dolls back for CMs to buy. IF no CM wants them, they go to the public.

I did the same thing with Cinderella last year. For next year's dolls, they will likely have a July or August pre-order also. It is their current pattern of doll releases. I hope you can find her at a good price!
 

Thats awful! I hope they can sort the situation out for her.....I wish disney would pack these so much better, with more padding/bubble wrap etc as its not like theyre cheap dolls, and the fact theres only a limited number mean if any get damaged its highly unlikely theyll be able to get replaced....shame on disney! My wedding rapunzel doll literally arrived in the cardboard box it was made it, with just 1 layer of tissue paper also.....luckily it was ok, but for longer distances im not so sure
 
Ok so...I have to ask. I am not sure if it has been said here or not...but...are the Cinderella and Ariel LE dolls sharing the same face molds, but just painted so differently and well that it is hard to tell? I mean, they did that with the Snow White and Alice LE dolls...but I can't tell with these two.
 
I picked up my Ariel from the store yesterday too. She's #556 (or #554?). The lowest I've ever had was #44 for Snow White/Prince Charming designer couple from DS online! Now I'm waiting for my Ursula and Eric to arrive to find out what numbers they are. I just hope they arrive without major damage! Seeing that awful damage to the Ariel doll is devastating.
