Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
Don't forget Canada. We're part of the North American market. I'm sure it'll only be a couple hundred dolls here (between all the Toronto stores, we're getting about 30 of each, lol), but it still takes from the US quantity a little. It sounds like the American site won't have too many left after all the stores get them. Just keep that in mind to all ordering online.
Those going to stores, on the other hand, I've been told it shouldn't be too much of a problem. The staff at our stores are saying they haven't had much interest. I'll still take the day off to go early, but I don't feel the same stress I did for the TLM dolls. Guess we'll see in a couple days.
I wonder if the 1000 is like CMs saying they are getting 8 dolls meaning 4 of each. Perhaps they are getting 500 of each?
1000 does seem a lot considering we only had 1000 of Ariel when she was LE 6000 and 500 Ursula and she was 2000. Do you think because it's set a bit closer to home they are hoping it does well although yes I agree ultimately their is a bigger doll collector market in the US.
I found that interesting too, not only did they release an exclusive set in the UK but they also increased the number of dolls made available in the UK. It makes me think that they are really pushing for this movie in the UK to the point where they release more merchandise there and make more of it available there as well. Wonder why though because I don't see how this movie is any different to say Tangled as it is based on a fictional world/realm maybe there is something special about it to make it important to the UK market???
Its not only an UK problem..the Europe sites who will sell them are really increased by number! In Europe (1000 dolls each) they will split in:
United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Netherlands too.
Not counting the "in-store" dolls too (in these countries).
Anyway, finger crossed for all of us!I'm really stressed about these things:anxious:
Oh Simone, don't be stressed. Remember how easy it was for you get your Designer Punz?
And yeah, good luck to everyone! I'll be going at it tomorrow too, since I have school to go to in the morning :\
Robyn T____T :hug::hug:
So much time! Yes for Rapunzel was easier 2 year a go but the things are changed..I wish i will have my Elsa
Finger crossed, good luck and a little wish for anyone who really desire them!
P.s. I am like Tiana now, watching out the window and whisper : "Please.. Please... PLEASE!!!" :lol: :sad:

Yeah I know what you mean about the Euro market it's just easier to refer to the UK as the site is the UK site but at the end of the day the US will always be a bigger market because it sells worldwide so even if the 1,000 is split across those countries the ones being released in the US are available to everyone world wide including UK, France, Netherlands, Italy and Germany as well so really if you live in any of those countries and can order from those sites you have a greater chance of getting the dolls due to the availability.

Thanks so much for all the responses everyone! Obviously it's not quite the answer I was hoping for, but now I can at least make an informed decision of which way to go. Looks like I will have to choose between online or in store as the main reason of getting them in store is to avoid the hassle of shipping across the border (so getting two sets would be self defeating). *siiiiiiiigh* Oh Disney, why must you do these things to me?
