Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
I have to resort entirely to buying the doll online for this one. I would never make it back on time and by the time I get out and drive 45 minutes to the store, they will be long gone. So am crossing my fingers and drinking a lot of caffeine tomorrow night

YES TO THIS! Canada loves Disney as much as the US & everyone else around the world. Sadly there is only going to be 4 of each of the dolls & I'm actually really nervous if I can't get them, especially Elsa! Since I'm getting her for my sister for Christmas & it's only south centre that's going to be getting the dolls in the Calgary area. I'm probably going to be there before 8 & their line-up usually goes to the side or whoever crazy person starts the line really LOL. I mean that's how it went for the little mermaid dolls anyways. Good luck to everybody who is planning to get them!

1000 does seem a lot considering we only had 1000 of Ariel when she was LE 6000 and 500 Ursula and she was 2000. Do you think because it's set a bit closer to home they are hoping it does well although yes I agree ultimately their is a bigger doll collector market in the US.

For those going to the store, what time are you going to go? My local store only got 4 of each.....

I found that interesting too, not only did they release an exclusive set in the UK but they also increased the number of dolls made available in the UK. It makes me think that they are really pushing for this movie in the UK to the point where they release more merchandise there and make more of it available there as well. Wonder why though because I don't see how this movie is any different to say Tangled as it is based on a fictional world/realm maybe there is something special about it to make it important to the UK market???

Its not only an UK problem..the Europe sites who will sell them are really increased by number! In Europe (1000 dolls each) they will split in:
United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Netherlands too.

Not counting the "in-store" dolls too (in these countries).

Anyway, finger crossed for all of us! I'm really stressed about these things
:anxious:

Finger crossed, good luck and a little wish for anyone who really desire them!

P.s. I am like Tiana now, watching out the window and whisper : "Please.. Please... PLEASE!!!"

Awh, that's cute Tiana_Valentine Indeed it has been a long while, :wavey:
I Really hope you and everyone else who wishes Elsa dear to their heart obtains her..

I myself am going for Anna

Yeah I know what you mean about the Euro market it's just easier to refer to the UK as the site is the UK site but at the end of the day the US will always be a bigger market because it sells worldwide so even if the 1,000 is split across those countries the ones being released in the US are available to everyone world wide including UK, France, Netherlands, Italy and Germany as well so really if you live in any of those countries and can order from those sites you have a greater chance of getting the dolls due to the availability.

I think it should be alright for the european . Elsa remained a few hours on the italian and danish website and only 12 or 11 dolls were sold . The French have sold a little bit more but there are still 877 Elsa , it's not bad .
It'll probably be more complicated for the us . (And the others country who depend on the us website )

We'll see tomorrow , i wish everyone is able to get her .

why european will go buy at the US disney store , they will pay more than double their doll, btw the price of the dolls, the very expensive shipping + the insane customs cost. safer and cheaper to use the european sites.

Also UK site doesn't sell only in UK, but also for countries, like belgium for exemple, because so far, i think italy and france don't ship to other countries. But UK Site is also shipping for other european countries.

Now , maybe the snow queen tale is better known in europe than in the US? i don't know. or maybe , The little mermaid, LE sold so well in europe they decide to increase for european the stock?

Well.....the count down is on! Wishing you all lots of luck, I hope we can all get the dolls we are after .... I have to rely solely online for my purchase as living in Scotland in the middle of no where, I have no store remotely near me!!! Fingers crossed!!!! Are all you guys online, or going in store to buy? What do you think it will be like instore....crazy? or not much hype? xx

It's weird because I have barely seen any advertising for this movie in the UK so far :/ and our disneystore UK selection of merch is to be honest rubbish. Everything just has the same image plastered on it

The day has come!

On one hand, I don't think the release will be too crazy, considering the movie hasn't been released yet, and people may not want to pay $100 for a character they don't know much about yet, let alone $200 for both characters. And they are being released on a Wednesday night as opposed to the usual Sunday night release.

On the other hand, the edition sizes are smaller, the UK website seems to be getting a huge chunk of these, and Anna and Elsa are new Disney Princesses which hypes them up...and the holiday season is upon us so people may want to purchase these as gifts.

I am definitely a little nervous (like I always am for these releases), but I am *trying* to not worry too much. Good luck to everyone trying tonight and in stores tomorrow...fingers crossed for all of us! :x:

I'm so excited, but also very nervous! My mom is being so kind as to gift these dolls to me for Christmas! However she is not very...good...at using computers! I'm trying to beg her to let me do the ordering but she won't budge. I hope they last for at least a half hour so she can secure an order.

I think the US has a bigger amount of dolls because DS.US will ship worldwide. None of the other DS websites will do that.

I had success cancelling one order on DS.com and that was like 4 hours after the purchase. It wasn't cancelled for a week (they had to do an internal email and it wasn't LE merchandise).

Used to be that DS.com would take a few days before orders were processed (so you could cancel them within 24 hours) but now they are processed in 1 hour....yeah, I know

If these dolls are also being release in store tomorrow morning, does that include in French DSs?
I'm debating going to the store on the Champs Élysées, super tempted but I haven't really the cash haha. Ahh I could always go just to look?

The dolls will be available in the Champ Elysées store . I think pupuce was able to talk to them and they'll receive a good number of dolls
