Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information

This could be the doll that the CM was referring to. You know how a lot of CMs sometimes are not exactly on top of the facts for upcoming releases... This is definitely not a LE doll, but she looks much better made than the average Tinker bell doll. She's definitely linked to Peter Pan, due to the film title logo on the side of the box and the image on the front of the box is more "classic" Tinker Bell.

I agree. CMs that are not into dolls do confuse the releases. One had me going on Quuen Elinor earlier this year and it turned out to be the 12 inch version. I do hope we see some classic characters in 12 inch as well as a few 17 inch editions for Peter Pan. I just cannot imagine it will be Tiger Lily. Better bets are Tink and Wendy and Hook. But if they do Hook, Peter would have to be as well, I wish we could get some hints but I doubt anything turns up for pre-order until after the holidays, the don't need the buzz right now as it is their busiest season.

No floor model, and my manager didn't know of one at all. There were lost boys plush (I'm buying all of them), and a really amazing snow globe light up thingy, but no doll. We didn't even have this Tink doll. :/ Sorry guys!

I'd love to see some more LE guys! Peter Pan and surprise Hook would be an awesome set. But if they stick with girls, I'd want Tigerlily or Wendy. Tink is cute, but she gets so much stuff as it is. Peter Pan is not her movie, so I'm hoping they'll focus on other characters.

I would love a Kida doll, from Atlantis. When it was in the theatres I was never able to find a figure I liked. I have to say though when it comes to Peter pan my vote would go for tiger lily. I kind of find the Disney version of wendy to be a bit boring and as pointed out earlier there is already a ton of tink stuff out there. Tiger lily is totally under utilised.

I'm seeing via twitter that Mulan, Atlantis, Hunchback and Roger Rabbit are all being released on March 12th :|
Is that USA only? Because people got in a tizz that there was nothing for Pocahontas until I pointed out that there wouldn't be as that DVD was an American release; that's why there was no 17" doll.

I would also love a Kida doll, but I am pretty sure that it will never be released. I really hope they will release a LE doll for Peter pan, either Tinkerbell, Wendy, Peter ... I don't care about which one, any of these would be amazing anyway ! Can't wait the announce about the new LE doll, hope it will happen be very soon !

You could try and find the old one Mattel made of Kida, she's really nice.
I still think one DS LE Ariel is going to end up wearing a green dress judging by all the pics of Ariel for 2013 merch.

Oh my goodness!Eeek!I would die if Disney came out with respective merchandise to each movie,it's more than about time. Those are some of my most beloved Disney Movies,Princess Kida and Esmeralda are two of my top favorites.Im gonna go and bug THE FUDGE out of the Disney Store on Facebook and Twitter to let them know how much those films are loved and those charecters! We need more heroine merchandise!

Seriously, all these next releases deserve a specific LE doll.
Kida, Esmeralda, Jessica and Mulan of course... I would buy all of them, but these characters seem to be "unpopular" for Disney. They'll probably know the same fate that Pocahontas : No LE doll at all. In 2013, the most probable LE dolls releases would be Ariel, Jasmine and Tinkerbell in my opinion... But I am keeping my fingers crossed for some "surprising releases" !

Can't find anything yet to confirm if it's US only - but on a side note they are all "double feature" DVD's. Mulan and Mulan 2, Hunchback and Hunchback 2, etc.

Roger Rabbit deserves some commemorative merch as it's the 25th Anniversary plus the release has bonus features :)
I hope it's also out in UK too as that film was among my childhood faves, I found an old book (which I drew moustaches on Eddie) at the back I had attempted to draw Jessica didn't get far, was only little lol.

As for the others they sound like they are just bundles, no new features just now available on blu ray - we didn't get Pocahontas dvd. Mulan will more than likely have her turn after Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition release, Pocahontas will be the last from the Princesses.

I'm So glad Someone else agrees. I would love to see a new Jessica Rabbit doll - but with so many releases in one day, and with Peter Pan being a month before, I'm not sure what Disney is gonna do now.

I just wanted to let you all know I called my local store and spoke with the manager who I buy all my dolls from and asked her about the Think doll. She said she hasn't heard anything like that and she even checked with the other manager. They think the store gave me wrong info. She said it's possible that it was an online only doll but she didn't even think that was the case…….I checked online this morning and there was nothing. So for the wrong info :( but at least it leaves it open to be something else if they do one at all. I thought for sure the doll would go for pre-order with the movie just like all the others…….

A friend and I were discussing how much we loved the film even though we haven't seen it in years, Jessica was the first strong female character we remember (apart from She-Ra). Even though being quite young when it came out - just seeing our favourite characters from different studios all together in a live action setting was amazing, Judge Doom and the Toon Patrol used to scare me :anxious: lol.
Have you seen the Snowglobe on the DS (.com) website? I wish we had it in Europe!

I for one will be so disappointed to see a 17 inch Tinkerbell. I used to like her, but there have been way too many fairy friends that have come along in recent years that I think she's way over done. I have a strong feeling though that they are more likely to do one of her since she is a money maker!

I feel exactly the same. she used to be one of my favorites. actually when watching the classic peter pan film, she still is. but i feel the completely changed her in her own movies. she is to overexposed. and still if they do make her LE doll. I just hope they make her slightly smaller than the princesses. It would just be awkward to have a giant Tink

Still no news? Am I the only one going through doll withdraw? I thought I would be happy to give my wallet a break but now I just want a doll to come out!! :)

Same here, judging by the looks on the American disney store website there seems to be quite a lot of merchandise for Peter Pan and the Little Mermaid being added. Let's hope something is coming soon, for both US and UK.
