Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
I've cancelled my order for both dolls. I did have the money for them but I really can't see how they can justify £20 increase for each doll. Perhaps it's because they know people will pay a lot more on ebay so they cash in on it a bit. I'm a little disappointed as I've bought every LE doll since the Wedding Rapunzel. If they were £60 I would have been really happy right now. Or if they had something extra that made them worth £80, and we knew from the start they'd be £80 then I wouldn't be so disappointed. It's just we all know they were meant to be £60, but suddenly they decided to rip off European customersI too noticed they haven't announced them on facebook. They would be flooded with negative comments.
Oh my gosh, thank goodness my boyfriend is here. At my store anyway, you can only buy 1, Elsa OR Anna.
Oh, that sucks. Next time just check out without the code and call in the morning. They will take off the shipping charge for you.
Im so angry, I finally got to customer services and was told that the stores shouldn't be selling it for £60 so its there fault, she said looking at my account I managed to use a discount code and should consider myself lucky that it worked.

What a frustrating night we had!! My mom always helps with doll releases (she likes them a lot more than she lets on!), and admittedly, we don't go for every one of them. I had my heart set on Anna the moment I saw her and our plan was to only go for her. I love that green dress so much. My mom was trying to surprise me for Hanukkah and wanted to order both for me. She was ready and waiting at the website at 2:00a central and when they posted, she threw both into her cart and went to check out - as she hit "proceed to check out" she got a spinning loading icon that wouldn't go away. She tried a new window, got both dolls into the cart, went to check out and as she hit "submit" with all of her credit and shipping info in, she got an error saying Anna was out of stock.
Between the website issues and the poor handling of customer expectations, there has to be some sort of reassessment as to how these dolls are released. I feel so badly for UK members who got surprised by a giant hike in price!
As it stands now, we (tentatively) have an Elsa coming, but I'm worried that our order might get canceled. Anna was top priority for me personally, and thanks to some miracle workers who just checked out at their local store, I now have her coming for sure. Despite all the stress and agony over websites crashing and whatnot, I have to confess that the moment the Anna picture got texted to me, my heart just totally melted. I love that doll so much... she's so gorgeous!! But yeah, wow, what a ridiculous release this was!!
Wow congrats! So happy for you to able to get Anna!! I thought Elsa sold out first, but I guess I was wrong ;p
That's good newsThere are now three people behind me...the turnout isn't crazy at all thank goodness!
But September already passed, Rose!I know this is a little "off theme" from Frozen, but on a facebook page someone said he reads on a french page this:
Limited Edition 17" Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) will be appear in September and she will have her PINK dress ( I love her in pink.. :love
I slowly die now.. I will spend any cash for that doll!
All right. "Off theme" ends.
But September already passed, Rose!
I think the fast sellout in the US exceeded everyone's predictions. If the buying frenzy caused the forum and the website to crash for "unknown" character dolls, I really worry about next year's Sleeping Beauty dolls!
