Totally agree with the Harrods thing..... I hope they do not do it again next year! I meanly focus on Ariel merch, so when they did the horrods set I was so thankful they did not open the store while TLM diamond edition was realease and make a super expansive human form Ariel....... So cross my fingers for all the Sleeping beauty lovers :hug:
 
So I mentioned earlier that my boyfriend ordered Elsa for me, but he was so nervous about them selling out that he forgot to use the free shipping code. I emailed customer service today and they said they cant do a refund but will give me a $5 gift card for the trouble. Overall I'm not really upset, because it wasn't disney's fault that we didn't put the code in, but I did hear a lot of people talking about this as a strategy earlier. I just wanted to put my experience and say that I wouldn't use it as a reliable method of getting the dolls fast and and expecting to get your money back. I will note though that Disney customer service was super fast, I had an email within hours, and it was pleasant.
 

In terms of the shipping code, usually if you do not enter it on check out it is unlikely that you will be able to add it in unless you manage to contact the Disney Store straight away and before the orders are processed. Unfortunately the Disney Store customer service is located on the west coast but the warehouse that handles the orders is in Memphis so closer to the East coast so there is a time difference so even if you were to call during opening hours there is a possibility that they are already processing your order so wouldnt be able to change it.

What I recommend you do is prior to a LE release add something to your cart and enter the free shipping code, after that you can just remove the item from your bag and the code will still remain on your profile so when the doll is released and you add it to your bag the free shipping code will still apply so you dont need to bother wasting time on adding the code and can just check out and go on your way.
 
I just put one item in my cart before the doll came out, and entered the shipping code. Then the order had the code on it already (though it wasn't eligable yet because it was under $)75 so when I added the doll to my cart I was eligible for free shipping. No time wasted there.
 
Just so you know you dont actually have to buy the other item, you can just remove it after you apply the code and the code will still remain. I usually remove the item a couple of minutes before the release while I am waiting for the doll to be released but that being said you can remove it earlier and the free shipping code would still apply.

I generally find that adding another item to your order can cause the order to be delayed in terms of shipping as they generally have to get the other item as well i.e there is more work involved with your order compared to those that just ordered the dolls therefore they leave those ones until the end. This was made evident by those that ordered the Ariel LE doll with the blu-ray with their orders being shipped out later than those that just pre-ordered the doll.
 
I've been trying for a while know I have designer Ursula but that's it I tried to get Ariel and Ursula but I missed out, so I really hope these go through.

If an order was to be cancelled due to overselling it would have happened by now, I was told that the dolls sold out within 12 minutes therefore if your order is within 12 minutes of the hour you should be ok. The only issue now would be the shipping label being printed but never attached to an item or you receive the order but they give you two of the same doll or the wrong doll. Both of these have happened to members in the past.

I know recently for me it happened with the Frozen jumbo pin, they printed a label but never attached it to an item, as the pin sold out they couldnt replace it so they just gave me a gift card to replace the value of the pin plus shipping.

That's crazy my order was placed at 3:04 so hopefully all is good I just haven't heard anything.

Yeah you wont hear anything until the item is shipped, you will just get the "Blast Off" email from Disney letting you know that the item is shipped.

One way you can also check is through your order history, if you check your order it will have one of three statuses:
- Active
- Closed
- Cancelled
Active that means that they are processing your order and that everything is good.
Closed generally means that the order has been completed and shipped therefore you can no longer cancel or make any changes to it. You will also see to the right of the item details the tracking details for the item to indicate that it has been shipped.
Cancelled is the one you don't want because it just means that your order was cancelled either because you requested it to be cancelled or because of some reason that they were unable to complete your order.

Note that sometimes you will have a message saying that they are unable to get you the current status of your order due to some inability to communicate with the warehouse, this is normal and most people will get this at least once, usually it is just telling you that your status is not up to date. But you should find that the message will just disappear and reappear at times but it is generally nothing serious.

I have only ordered the designer ariel set and now these two girls, and I havent had any problems with getting free shipping. But my boyfriend was ordering one and he was so stressed he just went without it! I think this was his first time rushing to buy something so he wasnt fully prepared. It wasnt a big deal for us but I saw some people in the thread using it as a strategy to checkout faster so I wanted to post my experience
 

Yeah my order still says active, until I know it's through I'll be nervous lol.
 
If anyone has an extra Elsa, I would LOVE to buy her! PLease Please Please!!!! I missed out this morning . . . I have been trying not to think about these dolls since I didn't get them, but I cant!!!!! I want both, but prefer Elsa. Ugh, I may have to wait until after Christmas and HOPE the prices drop on Ebay. One Ebay seller had 16 Dolls they were selling of Anna and Elsa. I have no idea how a person would have gotten 16 dolls.

Ah my friend, you need to actually call and talk to a person. I have had the free shipping code added later an embarrassing number of times. They always remove the charges for me, but I do actually talk with a person. I tell them the truth, that I was really excited and nervous and forgot. I had a damaged designer Belle doll and got nowhere wiht e-mail. I called and they express delivered me a replacement and I didn't have to return the other doll. There is power in talking to an actual person. I'm sorry it didn't work for you, but I don't want people thinking that Disney won't take off the shipping charges because they will!
 
Does anyone besides me find it odd that the COA and box for the LE coronation Anna doll look like they should be for a LE snow gear Anna? The COA is pink (the color of her cape and cap) and has a silhouette of her in her snow gear. The back of the box has the same silhouette and there is pink all throughout the box. Usually the COA and box have a similar color scheme to the doll's outfit.
 

I thought it was odd, but overall I think the dark purple on the box is nice in comparison to the green of Anna's outfit.

Personally I'm hoping for adventure!Anna and coronation!Elsa LE dolls when the blu-ray is released
 
I ordered a set from the u.s site 53 mins after the release and mine had went through , my card was charged and my order is active! So they couldn't have sold out in 12 mins?! I also called to clarify and they said my order is processing and looks fine to them
 

Dang how'd you do that?! I was continuously trying for 2 hours starting from about 5 min after it was released and all I kept getting was the message that the item cannot be purchased at this time. I managed to get it added to my cart about 3 or 4 times but when I tried to check out it would tell me the item is no longer available each time. Glad you managed to succeed in getting one.
 
It was saying sold out one min and then it wasn't but you couldn't put it in your basket and at one point it threw me out of checkout. But I kept trying and then one order went theough
 
Anyone in the UK and Europe that is not happy with yesterdays disgusting price rise I am writing to the Director of the UK Disney Store. Anyone that wants the name and address to write to please message me. I need an answer as to why this has happened.
 
here are some pictures of my Anna, I think i prefer Elsa, but maybe it's because of her new increased price here in europe. The magic is wasted.

we had our own nightmare for the trozen dolls too. I was at the champs elysées, they got 50 set of dolls. Yes so much... But the price increase from the other LE by 30% , so instead of 70 euros like they previously announced, they asked for it 90 euros.


Many people couldn't afford the two of them , because they have their budget that had been planned for 140 euros and not for 180. So some people only got elsa , or anna. Some cries, because they were with the 140 euros in cash, it's was a nightmare !!! other people told the cm , they can keep their doll at that price for the next time,if it still that high price . We were mad, because on 11th november , i paid elsa 70 euros , as the usual price for this dolls.


The atmosphere was heavy and angry. sad, the others customers not here for the dolls , i think they were stunned too because we entered in dead silence, like we were at a funeral, nobody talked. i've never seen that , either.. I have a disney store fidelity card , with already a 10 euros coupon full. So it was 80 euros for me, but my other fidelity card was almost done , so i complained and said with that purchase, the card will be full , so added NOW the others 10 euros. They accepted because They felt so bad too, and they did ir for all customers i think . So i paid 70 euros


then severals customers, including me, marched and went to the disney store france head building ! yes we did, we are french... You don't like us angry, and we entered it and force the person to listen to us. So she accepted we could right a group letter, we did there and she copied our casher tickets and promise something for us.


It was awful, the dolls are not sold out in webstore yet, because people are mad, and some are not going to buy and complain and write a letter, they are now trying to organise a petition for example.

Picked my two sisters up from the store yesterday; one of the only four sets they received! They are beautiful and made me forget about the le100 set lol..I think they are beautiful and the boxes are well designed with images of the castles in background...I noticed the Anna snow gear theme too......can't wait to see what's to come...
