Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
When I came home today my Anna was here waiting for me! So that makes my order complete with Disney, but the website still says my status is active. Im just happy to have them home. I hope everyone elses dolls can find thier ways home for the holidays :x::hug:

Received my Elsa today, she is gooooorgeous! Thank you so much to Mike for facilitating this for me :D
Number 1113!

No worries Kate, glad you were able to get the doll as a few people were having issues with their Elsa orders. Looks like my Elsa came in today too so I am hoping to get them in by Friday.

By the sounds of it only a batch of Elsa orders were affected by this whole label and charging fiasco. I guess those that got Elsa and still have an active status are lucky as they technically got a doll for free and wont be charged unless they notify Disney that they did in fact receive a doll. Then you have the other extreme case where others have been charged but their labels were never used. I just hope that things will eventually sort themselves out especially for those that are having issues with their orders!

thank you! Me too....it wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't already paid for her, but I did. Called DS twice, emailed them and contacted UPS.... I truly hope despite the confusion that she makes her way home to me and her sister ;)

Just as an update to all those with the Elsa problem, Anna is also affected. I now know of 2 people who have the exact same problem with Anna as many are having with Elsa. Today, both my Annas arrived but no Elsas so I contacted DS.com which over the course of the next hour led me to USPS and back to find out that, if your Elsa tracking number has yet to be shipped (you just received the tracking) there is a HIGH likelihood it got lost. I'm not trying to ruin anyone's day, just preparing anyone. I managed to get mine resolved (hopefully) but Elsa is really causing problems -__-

Now you know, can't trust DS.com, even when they run it right, cause of USPS (now it's on them).

Update on my situation: My original Elsa doll is sitting at UPS in Memphis so it should get to the Disney Store tomorrow. I settled with a manager last night that when it got there it was to be immediately turned around and sent to me. They emailed shipping, it's noted under the (original) UPS tracking number, called again this morning and when they pulled up my order it was immediately seen with me.

10 minutes ago I get a call from a cast member who explains that they have found a doll that the original purchaser's info had an issue and they emailed them a week ago and called and no response so they are sending me that. It's processing right now and I see it under my order now on Disneystore.com. No tracking number but it's there, charge $0. The original is still listed too with the $99 charge.

My original doll will get back to the DS tomorrow. Who gets her now? Why are they telling some people "cancelled nothing else we can do" and yet I'm being sent a doll. I am happy and I am grateful but it's not fair to others who they are just saying SOL too.

Edit to say I just read the above post and I really wonder in 2 weeks if we will know just how many dolls were affected by this. They found my doll which makes me think the others might be found but really don't they realize that they screwed up royally?

My Elsa just arrived and thankfully in great shape! She is sooooooo beautiful, I can't stop staring at her. I got #1376. I was hoping she would arrive before we left to see the movie, what a great Frozen treat! :D:hsd:

I truly hope that everything works out for the people who are having issues with their dolls. At least we have heard of some in which the DS was able to help make the situation better, I hope this goes for everyone.

I still think this is a Disney Store stuff up because at the end of the day UPS will just deliver the items based on the labels attached to them, the fact that a few were lost could potentially be a result of UPS stuffing up but for some reason I feel like it is because the labels were stuffed up by Disney, especially since we also have scenarios where people haven't been charged by Disney yet and still received a doll. So to me that just sounds like something has gone wrong with a bunch of labels printed for Elsa.

I have to ask, those that were not charged for their dolls yet did you order both? If you did, did this only happen for one doll? if so which one? or did it happen for both?

Sorry I know that is a lot of questions and I am happy I am getting my dolls (by the sounds of it) but I was just curious to figure out how or what has happened just to prepare myself in future should this happen again.

Today my Elsa arrived safe! I am so HAPPY and relieve for this!

Anyway.. I am one of the temerary-crazy people who debox these dolls and.. I restyled her hair (i have this idea since i've see her photos).

For me she is beautiful!!!

I hope all of you enjoy her too!

Awwww.... she looks so angelic! B-E-A-UTIFUL! Gratz! :D tempting hehehe...

Gratz! :D still waiting for mine tick-tock I can't leave for the movie until she arrives :/ bad weather don't want her sitting on the porch

Wow, Rose-Valentine. She looks like a fairy princess. Gorgeous.

Both of mine arrived this afternoon. I was home when UPS arrived. It's been raining in my part of country. One box was dry and the other looked very wet, wrinkled, and slightly pushed in. It was Elsa. If facing her, the left side of the box had been pushed in. The plastic is warped and there are wrinkles in box cover. The front is mostly fine. Not happy it happened, especially after paying so much money, but at least it looks ok from front. It could have been worse, so I will suck it up. Anna is my favorite, and she is in perfect condition. Both dolls are gorgeous. I just don't understand how one doll is dry and the other is wet. Same truck. Did they leave Elsa in rain at some point? Something always goes wrong with my 17" dolls, but it could have been worse.

Hope those of you having problems end up with your dolls.

Sorry to hear about your Elsa. All I can think is it was pouring when loading both to the truck and Elsa's box was on top of Anna. With the moist in truck it didn't dry. I would call Disney and let them know, they might give you a gift card for it. Because if they had better packaging less damage to none would happen to our dolls.

Sorry to hear about what happened to your else, I wish delivery companies would respect their deliveries more I understand they deal with a lot of packages and it can be stressful at times but again this comes back to people shouldn't take out their frustration of their job on other people because at the end of the day it is not their fault, this is just like the issue with the baggage handlers at airports.

Sorry to hear, does this mean that there are dolls floating around the US that are going to the wrong people? I am starting to suspect that if we have a numerous amounts of "lost" dolls and a scenario where someone received dolls that they didnt even pay for that Disney has done something really bad to stuff this all up. When they say it was lost did your status actually change to "in-transit"? Or has it always remained at the label created stage because I think this is Disney's fault, either they doubled up the labels attached to the packages like what happened with Shiva and jjohnson or they just forgot to stick the label on a doll and lost it.

I know they refund you your money back in the form of a refund or a gift card but I think most people would prefer the doll so this is just wrong, they need to have procedures in place to deal with this problem even if it means pulling excess stock from the Euro market to fulfill those orders, paying you double so that you can buy it from the secondary market or simply by improving on their shipping procedure. Sorry I know I keep harping on about it but this is just unjust and wrong of Disney to keep doing this because it is a sign of poor customer service.

Disney really needs to get their act together because this is just unacceptable...

I am with you 100% on this. Disney is usually know for their outstanding customer service. This is just an embarrassment and is not like Disney at all! I think we should do something as a group! After all, the squeaky wheel always gets the grease. Am I right? :)

Both of my dolls arrived, thankfully. However my Anna has a tear in her box on the side window. I'm a bit miffed at it. It cannot be THAT hard to wrap them in some bubble wrap and manufacture a slightly larger box for them, with the amount they make and sell. I will be e-mailing guest services and seeking a partial refund. Usually I don't care about stuff like this but they were rather expensive, and these aren't the only ones, so I feel like they don't really care if we are happy or not with the product. They know they will all sell. They know they can do whatever they want and most people can't do anything about it.

I agree with both of you, unless we say something they are just going to keep doing this and saying "sorry" for their mistake without meaning it and then will just make the "mistake" again and will keep doing it because they know they can get away with it since we will still keep buying it and not saying anything about these issues. By the way for those of you that did get a refund or credit from Disney I hope they at least credited $110 because whilst the doll retailed at 99.95 they actually cost around $107 including tax. If they only refunded people $100 that still means that they have made $7 for screwing people over. I know this didnt happen to me and I received my dolls (have yet to see the condition of them) but I just cannot help but think that Disney is really taking advantage of the demand for these dolls and are not giving their customers the amount of respect they deserve especially after we spend quite a bit on these dolls.

Disney needs to remember that it is because of collectors like us that they even have a high demand market to sell to and stop taking advantage of us by providing poor shipping, low quality/damaged dolls and little support in terms of customer support should something go wrong with your order. They need to realize that these are limited edition items, therefore replacing it with just a gift card or refund is not a sufficient resolution especially if they are the cause for the problem.

My Elsa came today! I must say, Disney really needs to do a better job in protecting these dolls! A piece of tissue around the doll in a tight box is no match to UPS drivers here in Canada. These poor dolls!!!

So I see I am not the only one worried about my Elsa doll. I received Anna today. I got my emails with the tracking but the tracking number for Elsa was last updated 11/22 with "Origin Scan" but at the top it says scheduled delivery updated to end of day, Tuesday 11/26. It is 7pm here so I am not expecting to receive it today at this point since Anna was delivered at 4pm. My Disney order is "closed" and that they can't locate it but I was charged the full amount (both dolls ordered in one order). Does this mean my Elsa doll is lost? :(

Not necessarily, I would check the status again tomorrow morning and it should change to update for a new delivery date, if it does not then maybe contact UPS as they would have been flagged that there was an item due to be delivered on Tuesday that was not, it could just possibly be that they were unable to deliver it today. Also check your tracking and see where it is at the moment, if it is within your local UPS facility then you should expect to receive it by tomorrow. If there are no details then I would just contact UPS tomorrow and find out from them if the date has not changed as that would be odd since UPS would generally let you know if they are expecting the package to be delayed.

For those with damaged doll boxes, I would take pictures of the brown shipper box as well as the damages on the doll box and e-mail them to either one of the DS customer service e-mail addresses. So far for me, that was the only way to get a quick response and at least some sort of compensation for the trouble/damages. By slamming the pictures in front of them, they really cannot ignore what happened. It may save time with the back-and-forth as they tend to drag their feet over reports of damages. It's better to be upfront in a: "look how it arrived to me" kind of way.

I received decent online GCs this way from my LE Cinderella (damaged doll box and stained/ruined doll shoes, but perfectly pristine shipper box) and my Couture de Force Maleficent figure (arrived with a chip on the bottom front of her robes, but all of the packaging and shipper box were in perfect condition). For my two situations, it was clearly proven to be damages caused by the factory and by the time the items came to my house, they were sold out so replacements were not an option. This should work for ElysionsPrincess's LE Anna.

For sheldoal, I'm not sure what the protocol is for bad handling by UPS with weather conditions thrown in the mix. The chances of a replacement doll are slim, especially with the LE Elsa doll problems we've been hearing about, but they hopefully can offer some sort of compensation. Again, send them detailed pictures of how your product arrived to you from the start. It creates an evidence trail and proof that you have a legitimate complaint.

I agree... I had a DS.com order that was supposed to be delivered (I think it was DFDC Rapunzel & Flynn), and I waited around all night for UPS to arrive on the scheduled date. No UPS, but at 8:30 pm PDT, suddenly, there was an update online claiming that the driver made a first attempt to deliver. That was utter hogwash! I called UPS and had them hold the item for me to pick up the next day. And lo-and-behold! The UPS InfoNotice was stuck to the box (proving that they did not even try to deliver it to my house). Blech! So hopefully it's more of this kind of situation rather than them losing your LE Elsa.

I just receive my Elsa doll 20 minutes ago and the vinylmation set, but Anna is missing, just called disney customer service and they said that ups probably lost the package with Anna, they tell me to wait until monday to worry about the doll,
what do you suggest I already talk with ups and with disney and they both said I better wait until monday because is thanksgiving
do I wait or do I start to make complaints

I received an email earlier today that said that Elsa was lost and they planned to refund me my money. This was right before Frozen started so I ignored it tip that FANTASTIC movie was.

(side note, Frozen really struck a chord with me and I believe that it is one of the best Disney movies period. I can easily say that it is just as good as The Little Mermaid, which is a big thing for me haha)

Anyway, I just got off the phone with guest services and spoke with a woman who was extremely helpful and kind and sent an email out to continue the search and try to get me my doll, I wrote an email to the Disney Store mentioning her and praising her for this and let her know I would. Hopefully it will do some good and I'll get her. And hopefully it all works out for all of you as well!

Ugh... I am so sorry everyone who is having troubles... :(

I am sending pixie dust to try and make ups / ds fix your issues!!!!!!!
