I feel like they didn't release all the dolls or something... Cause 45 minutes for 10,000 dolls is unbelievable.
After this, I wonder if the Disney Store 17" LE dolls will become the next Mondo, where the getting the doll is going to be a miracle since it'll sell out in mere seconds....
 
I got both (hopefully)! They messed up my order last time and my other Elsa got lost, so I put them in separate orders. Hopefully this prevents it from happening again.
 
I wonder how fast they would've sold if Europe had the 1000 allocation this time round too! Looks like everyone who wanted them got them so well done! I'm so surprised the forum didn't crash as I don't think I've ever seen over 200 people on here for a release

Just going to throw this out there: Frozen's success has been INSANE, the market may well flood and prices may well get down - but it also may not. I've never seen a pre-order sell like this before, and I'm sure that well some went to sharks, many went to collectors too. There have also been a lot of new collectors who got hooked because of Frozen, time will tell if they stay in the LE doll hobby or not.
 
Oh so nervous and anxious to finally have them home with me. Uh so happy all this time I kept wandering if anna had the design on back of her hat an dyes yes she does sooo happy
 

Actually it wouldn't be 10,000 since its 5,000 for each doll world wide. Its a divided number between the world. so it could of only been 2,500 released in the US. so maybe only 1,000 were online and the other half went to stores? something like that. I dont know the exact numbers.
 
Well, it's more like 9,000. Europe gets 500 of each plus you have in store.
 

They did not release all the dolls for pre-order online. You are still able to go to your local Disney Store this morning and pre-order it there. Each store that will sell them has an allocation specifically for their store.

And you will be able to pick them up on the 18th and not wait for shipping....

Well we must consider there are probably 100 each set aside (now), for emergency damage cases and lost dolls and stuff.
There are 500 each for Europe.
And maybe about 1,000 of each doll in stores in the USA?

So that's at least 1,500 - 1,600 of each doll for "not online" leaving only 3,500 - 3,400 of each online. Just guestimations though haha

I'm going to debox mine. I just dont care for the box. Though I also deboxed all my designer fairytale dolls and they were $130 a piece.
 

Remember that it is not 10,000 for pre-order tonight. A certain amount was distributed to select Disney Stores and I believe 1000 of each doll is on hold for the UK. Also, while I do believe that the sharks were out in full force especially with Snow Queen Elsa on the secondary market being so high, Frozen is an instant hit and insanely popular. The merchandise for this movie is literally flying off the shelves. That adds to the intensity.

i'm deboxing mine!!
but i don't think i'll be getting any other LE dolls (at least for awhile) so she's not really in a collection for me.
and i just really love elsa and would like to pose her next to me while i'm doing different things x3
 
Oh man already sold out! :O Okay so my plan was only one Elsa and one Anna but last minute I got another Elsa. Because I soooo want to de box her, have regret and will always regret not getting two Ice Elsa's but will be happy with the custom one I'm planning on making.
 
Where was it specifically addressed that Europe would only be allocated 500 - I must have missed that comment by Disney
 
Order status says active!!!! Heres hoping it stays that way!!! I got two of each doll, hoping to maybe trade one set for the Nov release or something lol Alas, I must go to bed or I'll end up calling out of work lol Glad everyone was able to get the doll they wanted
 
Uh anyone in the US who has de boxed Ice Elsa(first Elsa) and has no use for her box and willing to sale it to me. Could you please send me a pm would super appreciated. ^^
 
I ordered both and placed an order for a second Elsa... just because. Mostly thinking that if I end up getting all three, I can maybe use my second Elsa for a bartering chip another time. Who knows, maybe I won't have the funds available when LE Jasmine comes out. :lol: Not holding my breath that I'll get all three, though--or any, for that matter. :anxious:

Anyway, in other, less tense news, I noticed they put the Dumbo & Mom, Peter Pan & Wendy, and Belle Storybook ornaments back up in the sale section. I placed an order for those and used a $5 merch credit I had. I of course forgot to use the 25% off code, but it still came to $10.14 total for all three ornaments. Maybe I'll call tomorrow and see if they'll give me the 25% over the phone.
