Im new to when I saw the Nov set. But, I really have no interest in getting the past dolls (well maybe China Girl and QOH). So I wont be hindering others to get the past dolls :) I am looking forward to Maleficent though!
 
I'm also a new member, but I got into the dolls because of the Animators' Collection dolls XD It just happened to around the time of the Frozen dolls...

Snow - $650
Belle - $300
Tiana - $300
Rapunzel - $300
Alice - $900

After Frozen came out the value of the dolls increased to

Snow - $1,000
Belle - $300
Tiana - $300
Rapunzel - $450
Alice - $1200

Also I noticed that after the movie came out about 90% of the people on these forums are new members which I found very interesting. All because of the Frozen hype it has impacted on these LE dolls and their value. I have a feeling that getting these dolls in future will just get harder and harder unfortunately.

Also did you notice that the increase only impacted the popular dolls so Rapunzel, Alice and Snow White. Other dolls such as Belle and Tiana have remained relatively similar in price.

Id love to find LE Belle at $300, ive never seen her under $500+

guess I need to look more often and harder.

I think I bid on that one as well haha! Didn't want to go too high though - busy spending month as it is.
 
Is here likely to be a surprise doll? When there have already been Elsa and Anna recently?

I keep hoping for Mary Poppins...possible perhaps with the saving mr banks film... or a snow queen Elsa... in DESIGNER styles however as I dont collect the others. But I think if there is a release, it will be another 17inch doll. >/

Question, I plan on ordering Anna and Elsa on the 18th but my mum wants me to get her a Elsa. Will it be ok if I checkout and then after ordering my set order her one? Or can you only order one set to the address?

As said earlier, only one set to each address, your second order will be cancelled I'm afraid.

A. Merida: IMHO, Merida is probably one of the most detailed dolls disney has ever released. It's personally in my top 3. Everything about the doll is good. The material, the facial expression, the accessories. It's a really really good doll. I am talking about the regular one, not the set. The set with Elinor is not really that nice. So if you plan on getting Merida, get the solo one, and get her!! It's a really nice one. She even has a cloak!

B. Elsa: You can ship it to their address, but don't they also monitor billing addresses and credit cards? You might have to use your mother's credit card.

I hope its not Kristoff because Ill want him. Im thinking about selling my SG Anna cause not sure I want to collect Frozen. But if its Kristoff then he would be perfect with SG Anna and I might have to have both.
 
You UK guys are holding out for the website release hoping to get a doll? I'm heading to the store early before it opens to secure it just in case and if they sell out then I'll try the site. Does it update at 8am or 9am?

Just be aware that even if the store opens at 8am the dolls are going to be released online in the UK at 8am as well. So unless you have fast internet with you at the time whilst you are waiting outside the store there is no way that you will be able to try in store and then try online afterwards (if you were to miss out in store). As most have mentioned it will probably sell out within the hour of release, if not minutes.

Your store is getting the dolls? ^_^ Lucky! My local store said they weren't sure yet, but are expecting they'll get them as they got the first set... I'm gonna try online at 8am and if I don't have any luck and the store is getting some, I'm gonna go to the store which opens at 10am... best of luck!

Yep that is right, all Disney Store websites update based on 12am PST in the US. So that is 3am EST in the US, 8am in the UK, 9am in France and Germany and 6pm here in Australia.

No no that's cool so I'm queuing up for a store that opens at 9am when I can get online at 8am haha oh well I'll still go its good fun trying to beat the crowd and meet fellow doll stalkers

Both. Try online at 8. Head to store for 9. Probably be late for 9, though as depending on traffic and delays it could take me an hour! Ugh!
