DSF/DSSH Live from Hollywood - freezing for Frozen
Might not be a scrapper - the photo is the flyer from the event, so it could just be someone in line.
But still. $1,000 for an LE 400? That's just outright ridiculous. There's another posted now for $160 OBO.

It is totally outrageous :/ hopefully no one pays that!!

:( urh stupid scalpers ruining it for everyone :(

Well, there's no saying anyone will PAY that much, but it's ridiculous. For about 10 seconds a few weeks ago, I considered making Frozen my 2nd collection (no, I haven't seen the movie yet, but I read the book version in the children's dept at Barnes & Noble on my lunch break, and I'm optimistic). But it got too crazy way too quick. For me, Alice forever and only! :-P Good luck to those who really genuinely want these pins for their collections. You will have your work cut out for you!

I've been following frozen since it was first announced and I love the story of the snow queen and decided them I wanted to collect the pins! It sucks its got so out of hand :(! I feel like its becoming the new tangled!!

The Elsa surprise pin is lovely and if it's the same size as the Pocahontas surprise stained glass then it will be the nicest Frozen pin so far available in my opinion. Hopefully the price will calm down a bit but I'd be pleasantly surprised to see it getting much better than the one on there for £99.

Ohh... someone posted the 2nd surprise pin on ebay and listed it as the Elsa one. They were for $29.99 and people bought both of it quick - probably without reading and noticing that it was the wrong title for the listing!

I like the 'Get a Horse', but my hubby collects classic Mickey, so it would fit our collection nicely. It may be more popular after the movie releases, since it is a short at the beginning. The critics have been raving about this short....maybe a sleeper pin? Either way, I'm hoping to buy it or trade for it. May be a bit more realistic than the Frozen pins at this point - he, he. Doesn't mean I have given up hope though :) - still dying to get the Frozen surprise!!

That surprise pin is really pretty. After going to DLR last night and finding out the high edition Opening Day pin sold out in one day, I just knew this release would be beyond crazy. I've definitely adjusted my Frozen collecting expectations!

This is so exciting, and I'm not there, reading the forum like everyone else. I haven't seen the movie yet either, but I couldn't resist reading the children's book either at my local Target. Loved it! Hopefully many got the pins they wanted this morning!
