If I didn't have my son and husband waiting for me in the car, I would've at least made it down to DCA to check out the pin shop on Buena Vista Street because sometimes CM's just have bad info and I no less people frequent that one. All is well though because I bought 2 on the Bay for a pretty reasonable price.

don't worry about not being able to check it. they were sold out around 2pm. I didnt think the opening day pin would sell out as fast as it did.
 
Looking for the frozen pins like everyone else. I was the only one in my group who pulled a bad # and the only one in my group who collects frozen. Worst luck ever. Haha
 
That was a ROUGH release! Great pins, and awesome company, but I think this was the new store's first pin release with the new staff (?). I don't think they knew what they were going up against. Plus, the fact that PTD are purchased at the same counter as the regular pins caused a lot of traffic and delays. Hopefully the next one will be a bit smoother. I was #459 and it took 5 hours to just get a single marquee.

Seriously though, you don't. This release was an absolute cluster. Got started an hour late with vouchers, no one helping people line up by voucher #, so that everyone was just standing around the street and in front of the store. Super slow line despite having 3 (4?) registers open. 3.5 hours to get 230 people through. Madness. Te BT releases are madness too, but this one was completely disorganized.
 
Wow, I had no plans to collect the Frozen pins but after seeing them... LOVE!!! They are so gorgeous! I love the stained glass!! Congrats to everyone who got them. 😀
 
I agree! I didn't move from my spot for about 15min or so at one point. And I saw they had about three cashiers working for the pin releases but two workers looked like they didn't exactly know how to handle the register or how to work quickly. To me, it seemed like DSF had finally started getting the hang of it (with only about 15min or so of delay time) and now we have to start all over again with GSF. I missed Nelson and all his yelling.
 
Love the marquee and the anna/elsa!! The Elsa surprise pin is gorgeous as well. Seeing these pins make me even more excited about the movie. Congratulations to everyone's lovely new additions!! =)

Yup, I think :lol: What I would give for 1 of all those pins EXCEPT the Duchess and Get a Horse (which are both nice enough that I'd want 1 but I Just cannot focus on them with all those Frozen ones @_@)

My friend got #563 and there was not 1 pin left when he went to the counter so your friend must have bought from a nice person since I don't see how or why someone would have returned it in the 100 people that left <_<
