MG2:KILLER IN THE KINGDOM--the game starts

MPH feels like he can keep working rather than needing rest. He decides to investigate the area from the kitchen to the dining room for clues. MPH pulls out a magnifying glass and looks in the corners and anywhere else a clue could be hiding, whispering to himself "if I were a clue, where would I be?"

OOC* PLease always keep an eye on your PM boxes as we are waiting for some info to be revealed that could lead us to a new place.

*Arriving back at the lab, Chief drops off the latest evidence-A STRAND OF BLACK HAIR. He also asks for an update on the FEATHER, but is told that these things take time. Having not recieved any new information from the lab techs, Louie decides to stop by the security/ control room located 4 floors below the lab under the castle. Upon arriving he sees that there is slight panic in the room.*

LOUIE: "What's wrong?"

STAFF MEMBER: "What do you mean? The park just opened and we already have one attraction fully closed, another running slow and backed up, one of our most popular restaurants closed. And now to top it all off,we seemed to have lost control of the lights at Space Mountain. The lights keep blinking on and then off a few minutes later. The guests are getting sick because of the lights and no one wants to ride Space Mountain with the lights on."

LOUIE: "Ok I will check it out with some of my team. Say you don't know the secret of man's red flower do you?"

*NOt getting an answer Louie pulss out his DFiphones and texts a few of his detectives.*

(Text) TOAD, MS.BIANCA, RAFFIKI AND ABU MEET ME AT SPACE MOUNTAIN RIGHT AWAY.

Toad gets the text, picks up Snow White and sticks her in backseat right next to the Red Head and drives out of the the ride.
He motors quickly over to Space Mountain and meets up with Chief Louie.

Louie mentions man's red flower, but Toad wonders what fire has to do with anything.

Dodo decides to search for evidence at the Crystal Palace back exit. He finds a FastPass for SpaceMountain just outside the door. He can't decide if this was just an accident or if this is a clue, so he decides to waddle over to Kaa (who is now slimping along after being run over by Mr. Toad). Kaa listens carefully to what he has to say and slimps (that' limping and slithering combined) away. Dodo is relieve to have gotten the problem off HIS mind and on to someone who might can help figure it out. He follows the rest of the crew as they start heading over to Space Mountain.

He hears Louie mention the man's red flower, but has absolutely no idea what that might mean. Dodo is no closer to finding Kiara than he is to solving the case of who did in the princesses. Poor Jasmine, he shutters at the thought of her, poor Rapunzel, all that time in a tower and she ends up in the freezer. That's cold thinks Dodo. Just a cold blooded killer did this. Dodo looks around in fright and hopes he didn't say that outloud. Kaa might be highly offended at his comment and he doesn't want to offend.

Dodo heads into Space Mountain to meet up with his fellow detectives and see if he can pick up any clues. He is truly tired and in need of a nap, but apparently he is the only one who naps. Dodo takes a sip of his take out coffee he got from the Crystal Palace and hopes the caffine will help him stay awake. He trys to think of all the clues and see if a black hair and a man's red flower fit anywhere into things. So it's a male with black hair and red flowers. Sounds like a clown to Dodo. But he knows that cannot be right. He catches up with the rest of the crowd and trys to hear what Louie has to say about the hair and flower.

OOC*Wouldn't worry about the Man's red flower as a clue--that's just Louie being in character. Of course you young folks may have never seen Jungle Book--lol

Toad could really go for some fried chicken right about now....
Maybe Cosmic Rays has something cooking...

As Anton Ego pokes away at the letters on his typewriter, detectives come in and out of the Castle Suite. Unfazed, he continues his review, as he hopes to at least make the afternoon edition. He pulls out his notebook, reads a few of his scribbled notes, and places it back down on the writing desk. The tack-tack-tacking of the keys pierce the stillness of the room.

Halfway through the Disney Family Magic Tour, Chip is relieved to finally be able to sit down after taking on the duties of a tour guide. Seated comfortable near the front of a tram car, he eyes to small group of children and their families still boarding the Tomorrow Transportation Authority: People Mover. "I wonder how the other detectives are progressing?"

As the tram progresses through the first set, Space Mountain, he notices that the lights are repeatedly being flickering on and off showing glimpses of the SM track for all to see. [Detective Chip, is this one of the clues that we're supposed to be looking for?] one of the children asks from behind him. "Umm....Yes, Hook is trying to...." Chip wonders what must be going on and pledges to find more info when the tour ends.

Kevin is watching her young ones when she hears a loud noise wizz by, she pokes her head head out of the bush to see Toads car zooming towards space mountain. She calms down her frightened chicks and races after Toads car towards space mountian.

As she arrives she gives Toad a little tap on the head and squark's at him for scaring her chicks..she then calmly sits on top of a sign post and watches out for anything peculiar

*Chessie still is curled up in the Castle Suite, grinning enigmatically and occasionally looking up from his notes as detectives come in and out of the room. The only sound is the clacking of the keys on Anton Ego's typewriter as he works on what the Cat suspects is the critic's critique of the Pasta a la Rapunzel and possibly the Crystal Palace as well. Not having heard any updates for a while, Chessie pulls out his phone to check for messages. Even though he doesn't have any, the Cat debates staying in the Castle Suite and resting or going off and finding trouble before trouble finds him.*

*Upon his arrival at SpaceMountain the lights are still flickering on and off. The CMs have shut down the attraction for safety purposes. Louie sees one of the requested detectives nearby.*

"Mr Toad, I want you to take your motor car and dive on the coaster tracks. Closely inspect every inch of both sides and report back to me. Now where are those other detectives."

*Deciding that an emergency meeting with ALL detectives is in order to see who is still on the case, who is missing and who is just being lazy, King Louie presses the Yellow button on his phone. The yellow button signals for all detectives to meet at the location indicated...Space Mountain.*



OOC* Happy Mothers Day to all the moms...I know that today most can't post, but when you can please check in. It seems like we have lost alot of players.

Rafiki receives a message from Chief Louie and heads straight over to Space Mountain as requested. While he is travelling over there Mr Toad whizzes past him in his car.

Rafiki thinks to himself, "that Toad is gonna kill someone the way he is driving"

As Rafiki approaches Space Mountain he sees Chief Louie talk to Mr Toad and then Mr Toad disappear inside the attraction. Thinking that does not look good, Rafiki arrives at the attraction and reports to Chief Louie.

OOC: Just tried to post and it disappeared, let's hope it works this time.

We find Chip having pictures taken with several families, each of them grateful for his role as the DFMT Tour Guide. His Blackberry buzzes with a text message and looks down to see it's from Chief Louie. It's a message for all Detectives to meet at Space Mountain. "Wasn't there an issue with the flickering lights?"

Chip decides to take the Utilidor via Main Street, if only to escape the crowds up ahead. As he makes way towards the east side, he finally reaches the closest exit to Space Mountain, via the Merchant of Venus. Approaching the entrance to the gigantic white "Mountain," Chip sees the "closed" sign in the front of the attraction. Heading through, he reaches the star port launch pad, where Chief Louis is waiting.

*Chessie's phone rings, indicating a text message, just as soon as he has put it away. He pulls the phone out again and sees the message from King Louie ordering all detectives to report to Space Mountain. Completely rested and even more bored by now, the Cat disappears from the Castle Suite and joins King Louie and the other detectives inside the attraction.*

Chessie (studying the attraction with the flickering lights on): 'I know some people are afraid of the dark, but I think this might be one instance where the light is scarier than the dark.'

*Chessie turns to King Louie*

Chessie: 'Has trouble found us yet or do we have to go into hyperspace and find it?'

Rafiki is awaiting further instructions from Chief Louie when he sees Chip arrive. Hi Chip, do you know what is happening here? Ah the attraction is closed, that is not a good sign, surely something has gone wrong.

I am guessing that Chief wants us to go inside and investigate, should we go in now and see what we can see. If we work as a team it will be better than us going in individually and running all over the place.

Black hair, feather, male, Kaa smiles to himself, " ahh the cassse is not as cold as you would have us believe,dear caT" Now leaving the CP an heading out Kaa into the park,he wonders what his assignement is, CL has not given him a location to investigate, so he slithers with his slight limp back to the castle suite awaiting instructions. Kaa knows the clues are scant but believes he his already close to solving the mystery.!!! My sssupectsss are few, and at thisss rate the cluesss continue to add to one criminal."

Kaa arrives at space mountain having recieved CL text on his way, He immediatily begins watching the flashing lights for a pattern, is it a messgae? The great constrictor is unsure, he will have to wait until he is completed with the lites , either they will repeat the pattern and a message will be reavealed or something is been preprogrammed to flash them for another reason!!

Pumba gets the Chief's message to head over to Space Mountain ASAP. He runs over as fast as his little legs will carry him.

"I wonder what has happened now!"

*Seeing a few detectives arrive on the scene Chief Louie is relieved not to be alone. The flashing lights remind him of a time that he was hypnotized by a large reptile back in the jungle. He then remembers who that reptile was as he sees KAA slink into the room. Several detectives are still missing, but Louie checks off those that have arrived.*

"Ok everyone spread out and check above, below around the track. I need someone to volunteer to check out the fuse box and electric supply source. Any volunteers? Not you Kaa..we need to speak about several missing smaller detectives. Are you sure Ms. Bianca was not part of your breakfast menu?"

"Why my chief, would you asssk that, ssssurely If i had wanted rodentia for the early morning repassst it would not be difficult, in fact it would be assss ssssimple asss can be, Why CL dont you trussst me at all?
Didddnt I find your firssst scene, and first clue? Did nt I alssso dissscover the killersss gender? If you wisssh proof of my dedication to the caussse, Look me in the eye assss I ssswear to you, Will you do that my dearessst Louisssss?

Kaa wonders if theres something in the wiring at the control center for the ride. He knows that the ride has many stations on the track, like any coaster or dark ride. He also knows the main control room is at the bottom of Space mountain and should house the lighting controls for the entire complex. The python slimps over still awaiting louies answer and looks down towards the control room. Have these ligths repeated in a pattern? or is the flashing totally random?

Also why here at space mountian,,Ahhh kaa smirks , "Name the three darkest rides in MK? HM<naturally,> any in fantasyland<they are called Dark rides> and of course SM!!" he says to no one," the most perfect place to hide a body!!!"

Pumba volunteers to check out the fuse box.

"Chief, I'll go see about the electricity supply if you want. Flickering lights are disturbing to everyone."

*Louie avoids eye contact with the python and answers his questions.* "First of all Kaa, I don't trust you because of past experience. Second the lights seemed to be blinking on and off in a totally random pattern. Now Trust in me...if I find out you have anything to do with all this I will have a new pair of snake skin boots."


*Louie turns to Pumba* "Thanks, but don't go alone take someone with you."
