MG2:KILLER IN THE KINGDOM--the game starts
"Sssay CL are we misssing any of our group?" several of the detectives are not there yet and Kaa is thinking something and asks it out loud,

"Am I the only one wondering if we are having MEATLOAF AGAIN?" kaa glances around the room to see if anyone else gets it?

*Chessie glances from the pasta and unknown red sauce to the still-chewing Anton Ego and the other detectives' faces and back, carefully considering the previous comments regarding the entree. Since Anton Ego hasn't said anything, Chessie takes a closer look at the suspicious-looking pasta dish.*

Chessie: 'It looks like we're having an old friend for breakfast ... . But this does give a whole new meaning to angel hair pasta, doesn't it? And in this case, would angel hair be contingent upon the individual's temperment, do you think?'

*Chessie glances back at Anton Ego, waiting for some feedback about the mouthfull he still is chewing.*

Toad holds back a chuckle as he realizes what Anton is chewing.

He tells the waiter "I WON'T have what he's having!"

Basil starts to wonder if the eccentric-food-critic-turned-detective is in a trance or is just being....eccentric. "Come my good fellow. Spit it out!"

*OOC - Wally, thanks for letting us know that. Just one more clarification if I may: Is the security imagery that Louie showed us meant to be something that has not been properly explained yet? Are we to dismiss it, or keep it in mind as a clue?

And to everyone else, this is what I was talking about when I cautioned about too much improvisation. If we were meant to see a creature that looked like Kaa, but was not Kaa, then that is a critical clue that we need to remember. However, if it was simply Kaa helping Jasmine with her diet, then we have to completely dismiss it as useless information. It can totally change the course of the game. So if Wally gives us information, please refrain from altering it unless he specifically tells you to. Otherwise, none of the clues we get will make much sense.

And I hope I'm not coming across as snippy. Just trying to give helpful hints and reiterate the importance of the information that is dispensed as official clues. :hs:

Tink watches as a covered dish is placed before the detectives and she moves as far away from it as she can knowing that it cant be good. once the lid is off it looks like undercooked meat sauce on limp angel hair pasta! she thinks to herself at least it is not poultry ala orange or turtle soup! she watches in horror as anton takes a bite of it! gaging she looks away. she does not want to look at the very long golden strand haning out of his mouth. Tink only hopes it isnt what she thinks.

As the detectives gathered around the table begin whispers of what they believe is on the table, Anton Ego folds back up his notepad and puts it back in his pocket. He then takes off his glasses and puts them away. Clasping his hands in front of him, he begins.

On first taste, it appeared that my forethoughts of American cuisine were abhorrently grim. The flavors brought to memory of a dish I had for the first time at Fouquet's. Cervelle de veau. A dish that I haven't been able to enjoy since the british, the pigs that they are, tainted the bovines in the eighties.

Anton picks his fork back up from the table and begins to push the food around on the dish.

The preparation of the meal is actually quite good. If it wasn't for the fact that whoever prepared this meal was lazy and unskilled in the proper technique, as there are still parts of skull here... and here. Looking beyond the sauce, we fall upon the unfortunate excuse for pasta. Which, in fact, is not really pasta at all. Just long strands of golden locks.

He pulls his glasses back on and the note book comes again out of his pocket. As he opens to the last page he had written, he speaks again.

So it appears what could have been a fabulous French meal, turns out to be just BRAINs, SKULL, and HAIR from a recently departed detective. I believe you all knew her as RAPUNZEL. I guess Gusteau was right... Anyone can BE cooked....

With his nose back in his notes, Anton turns around and returns to his table. The Disney Company will not be pleased with his review of the Crystal Palace.

Anton grins.

Chip is listening to CL de-briefing as a waiter, which is odd in itself, brings out a covered silver tray. It sits for a still moment as the other detectives lie in wait, eager to wonder what may be underneath. It is Kaa who breaks the silence, opening the lid to reveal... a seemingly innocent tray of angel hair pasta with meat sauce. "Hmm. Did someone order from Tony's Resturante?"

Anton is quick to take a bite and with his normally grim facial expession writes down on a notepad, evaluating the dish. Upon closer inspection, the pasta seems off; being very shiny and slightly brown golden colored. The meat sauce, itself a dark red, has a very repugnant odor coming from it, as if from decay. Kaa mentions that this is most certainly not a normal entree, even eluding that it may actually be one of the DSI. Anton then gives his own fine critique of the dish; a cuisine cooked with human brains and long human hair, of which can only belong to Princess Rapunzel. "Egads, this is Rapunzel!"

OOC- Thanks CL for answering my question. Though by the time my phone uploaded, GG had responded making the question null.

Aurora watches as Anton takes a mouthful of the mystery dish. She is not sure she wants to know what/who he is eating. When it is figured out to be Rapunzel Aurora cries out "What is going on here? Why is the murderer killing off Princesses!?!?!?!?" Aurora again is emotional and excuses herself from the table. She is no longer hungry as she takes out her phone and goes to contact the other Princesses again. Although her first call is to Flynn Rider.

*Chessie raises an eyebrow as Anton gives his dispassionate critique of the suspicious pasta.*

Chessie (to nobody in particular): 'Apparently I was wrong. We weren't having an old friend for breakfast; we're having a fairly new one instead. And while her hair was used to make the pasta, would her behaviour still qualify it as angel hair pasta do you think?'

*Chessie pauses, not caring that some of the other detectives are less than thrilled with his commentary.*

Chessie (a slight grin on his face): 'But did anyone happen to notice anything of interest on the platter other than the now partially eaten remains in the pasta?'

*Chief hears the info passed on by Anton. He is now thinking to himself. * "Now I understand why she just never checked in after the start. Even though her hair is her and seems like some of her scalp, where is the rest of her?"

OOC*This is the death from the first minimum post count. A new one will begin soon.

OOC* To clear up about the security pics of KAA. I added them just for fun and as far as them being a clue they should be ignored. I apologize for confusion and putting KAA in the situation of having to make a cover story.

Tink almost passes out when her fears were confirmed when indeed it was rapunzel being served on the platter. that nasty killer has struck again. Tink cant bear to look so she asks Basil if he could look for clues around and under the dish. she likes the spunky rapunzel!

**OOC Sorry I wasn't able to post from the ER, since they took my cell phone from me. I'm home now and trying to catch up.

Dodo, who thought he was going to nap, was unable to fall asleep. He is mulling over Louie's song, Chessie's note and all the other things in his head and just can't seem to rest. He is very confused about all the clues, but doing his best to follow along. He watches with great interest as Kaa hypnotized Aurora and vowed to steer clear of his mesmerizing eyes. He knows that it is easy to little a poor little bird astray and vows not to be left alone with Kaa.

He notices that Louie is heading over to the Crystal Palace for something to eat and that sounds like an excellent idea. Waddling over, Dodo joins the group and heads along with the crowd of other detectives toward the eatery. As he sits down next to Tink at the table, suddenly a waiter appears with a large silver dish. Dodo licks his beak in anticipatation of what delacicy could be in that dish. When he lid is removed, he stares at the terrible concoction in horror.

It most definitely isn't something eatable, and Dodo watches in horror as Anton takes a bite of the items on the platter. Dodo nearly gags and unchucks his lunch since he now recognizes what that is on the platter. Someone's smashed head. He hears someone say it's Rapunzel. Good Gracious - another princess. Are any of them going to survive this new mystery? Dodo is now gravely concerned over the remainder of the beautiful girls that he adores. What about his poor Alice? True, she is not a princess, but very regal all the same. He decides to give her a call to see if she is OK.

Dialing his I-phone he gets her voicemail. (Alice): This is Alice. I out with the White Rabbit so please leave a message. (Dodo) Alice, this is Dodo and I'm quite worried about you. Please call me as soon as possible.

Dodo hangs up more worried than ever. Jasmine, dead - Rapunzel, dead. The suspect is a male but is he a human male or something else? Hopefully CL will be able to clarify this later on. Dodo watches as Kaa checks the lid and bottom of the dreadful platter. Garlic - but after all, it was supposed to represent pasta.

Dodo excuses himself from the table and sits at a smaller table nearby. He orders tea from the waitress and using this time to think. Kaa, trying to do something good for a change, wow, that is so hard to accept, thinks Dodo. Where is Kiara? There seem to be no clues as to her whereabouts and the body count is begining to rise. Who is doing this and why would someone or something go to these extremes for Jadis? She wasn't a very popular woman as far as Dodo could tell.

Dodo talleys up what he knows so far. The murderer (and possibly the kidnapper, since we don't really know if they are the same person) is male, wears feathers, wants Jadis back and hates being alone. So many clues, poor Dodo's brain can't seem to process this all. He looks around for some help.

Iago looks down, relieved it's not an omelette in the dish. After all, that could have been his offspring! However, the indication that Rapunzel has had her goose cooked is an alarming turn of events. Ever hungry, he squawks, "waffles!" "Where are the Mickey waffles?"

MPH is surprised to see a platter being brought out to the table. He is more shocked when it is opened and doesn't look quite right. MPH's shock turns to dismay when the critic takes a bite of the dish, knowing full well the dish was not intended to be consumed. MPH is sad to see Rapunzel has been brought to her demise, and wonders if the kidnapper/killer has a thing for princesses. MPH, aloud, to no one in particular: 'wouldn't the kidnapped tiger be a Princess?'

The mood of Crystal Palace is dire; news of the recently found princess' death having caused a panic among the small amount of guests, cast members, and detectives. The manager of the Crystal Palace places a "closed for cleaning, we are sorry for the inconvenience" sign in the window and instructs the CMs to gather the guests and take them to the backstage conference room. The guests are only too happy to comply, as many of them are with their children, who may now be scarred for life.

With the Guests and CMs out of the main dining room, the crime scene is left for the detectives to document and file. "Now we have a three-time princess kidnapper/killer, what possible motives could there be to warrant such events?" Chip goes over the clues discovered thus far to possibly compose a profile of the perpetrator. One bloody feather. That clue is set to the side when tests came back inconclusive of origin, It's possible the crime scene may have been compromised by the native wildlife. The Criminal is male and wants to revive Jadis/retrieve a stone because he is alone. "Has he kidnapped these princesses and then killed them because they may have rejected him?"

Heeding the suggestion of the cat from another land, Kaa has inspected the tray, then calls for the server whom brought the dish to be brought forth from the kitchen. View attachment 4670
We may wisssh to at leassst interrag.... assssk the young ssserver where thisss disssh came from? Ssssurely it wasssnt prepared here? If not how did it get into the facility? Unlessss perhapsss Rapunzel wasss killed here on property lassst night, her body disposssed of and the killer having had time to prepare the meal? Where isss the ressst of Rapunzel than? More importantly Why wasss Rapunzel killed? Did ssshe encounter the killer while exploring the park? Quesssstionsss , Quessstionsss, Quessstionss? The constrictor looks about at the other detectives, "Any ideasss??"
Kaa at first wonders why the great commotion about finding Rapunzel ala Tuscanny is so disturbing to so many of his fellows, with perhaps Anton whom seems to have moved passst what is 'normal' human cuisine. Perhaps, Kaa muses, this may be a human of worthiness to consult with. While they both seem foreign to the MK, actually neither one is by a long stretch. Antons familiarity with the park and knowledge of the operations might be a very rich resource to draw from? HMMMMM.....

CL has already cautioned us about moving about in the park while its in operations,View attachment 4672
but with an influx of tens of thousands how will any evidence survive unless its found almost immediately ?
Kaa also reviews what he actually knows are facts verses suspicions, Which he dryly chuckles to himself, seems to be be the only evidence we have an over abundance of !!!
A > the killer is male
B > we have a feather of undetermined origin
C > the killer wants Jadis stone, what exactly that is we have yet to identify
D > the killer wishes either Jadis back or someone in her stead.

Kaa turns to Louie, wondering if he will use the :when you, trick agian or if the orange boss has not figured out that one yet,
"Excussse me cL, has anyone inspected Jadis wand? Either the Stone at the top of the wand or the wand itself specifically?View attachment 4671
Could that be Jadis stone and not the actual stoned Jadis?"
Kaa shakes his head as he hears his last words...
I have got to ssstop lissstening to that Purple ssstriped cat!!!!Now im making sssentencesss that sssound like he sssaid them!!?"

Pumba is puzzled when a serving platter appears at a buffet restaurant. It doesn't take long for him to realise that we have yet again been served one of the detectives.

"I think I've lost my appetite."

*Chief Louie sees the restaurant cleared by the CMs and is glad for their help as it opens up the crime scene to easier inspection.*

"Has anyone checked the kitchen? This is what needs doing...inspect the dining area, especially the path that our waiter took. Two inspect the cooking area, especially any food preparation area. Three interview this waiter to see where the dish came from and what he can tell us. I will handle the interview myself. Now everyone spread out and get to work."

OOC* THE SECOND MINIMUM POST COUNT WILL START HERE--I NEED 4 IN 60 HOURS.

OOC2* A second trivia will come sometime during this count period. I am sending out a clue to someone now.

As Anton Ego settles back down at his table, he picks up his strip of bacon and begins to nibble on it. Finding the cheap meat not to his satisfaction, he places it back down on a napkin. Chief Louie begins barking out orders, and Anton watches as detectives scramble to the locations that he mentioned. He thinks to himself that the knives in the kitchen should be carefully checked, and that none are missing. They would be the most effective tool to use during a scalping, though it's more likely the murder didn't take place here, and all the ingredients were brought separately to the kitchen.

Tink flies off to the kitchen and starts looking around in the sinks. Not seeing anything there she decides to look in the freezer. She borrows awashcloth to use as a jacket to keep warm and flies into the freezer to look around.

*Chessie glances at Kaa and, grinning, nods at him approvingly.*

Chessie: 'The problem is that we really don't know anything about this stone, what it is, or why this individual wants it, and right now, it's the known unknowns that will get us killed. It's far better to ask these questions now while we can, don't you think, before it's too late?'

*Chessie sits back in his chair, waiting for King Louie to indicate the next step in the investigation.'

In the detectives' scurry, Chip decides that it will be best to talk to the manager, hopefully he will be able to retrieve the Cast Member who served them. At the manager's acceptance, Chip and several others are led past the backstage entrance to the kitchens, passing a set of elevator doors and a doorway maked stairwell. [Those lead to the Utilidor, as well as Pooh's and Friends break lounge.]

They finally come to a door which leads him to a well furnished office complete with Disney Memorabilia. [This is my office, you and the others can wait here while I get the waiter which served you this atrocious platter.]

The Manager comes back with the waiter, the yellow-clad CM acting very nervous, possibly from the events that have taken place due to the platter he had brought out. King Louie notices the small size of the office is possibly not the best place to ask questions. "This room is too small for us all. Let us return to the Dining Hall, then we can resume there."
