Rafiki is still trapped with the guests wanting pictures. None of the other detectives are missing him. He can feel his iPhone buzzing away in his bag. I need to make a break for it somehow, mmm how can I get away.

OH look theres Mickey over there. While the guests turn around, Rafiki makes a dive into the undergrowth and gets away as quickly as possible.

OK now time to contact the Chief and see where the others are.
 
*Louie listens as Chessie reads the note that was found.*

"Curious...hmmmm....who would write such a note?"

*Just then the parrot sqwacks again*

STUPID MONKEY...NOTHING MORE TO SEE...NO CLUE...STUPID APE

*Louie looks　up with anger and distaste.*

MPH is watching form his perch when he sees Chessie find a note. As Chessie is opening the note, MPH climbs down so he can overhear Chessie. MPH hears the clue and wonders aloud "how bad could it be to give the kidnapper a stone statue. It isn't like they can bring her back to life, can they?"
 
*Chip has recorded the note that Chessie found on his Black-berry, sending it to Gadget for futher analysis

*He also takes into account the words that the barker bird is saying, which seem to going in dissonance to the normal music.

"Wait a minute all audio from attractions are run from a centralized location in the Utilidor. If this is a recent feed, he's probably still at that location."
*Grabbing his DSI gear, he asks Chief Louie to keep him informed of any new developments. Running off set, he wonders if cameras might have gotten the perpetrator in action, making a resolve to contact security about some footage, especially if it involves the area around the Barker Parrot.

He races off into the Utilidor, once again riding the RC-racer through the concrete hallways of the lower level. As he reaches Imagineering's central computer room, he finds the door ajar, the cameras spray painted over to avoid detection. He walks over to the computer server labeled potc and notices that the large tower has been tampered with. Chip puts on his gloves and takes out the fingerprint dust. "Drats, just like I suspected, wiped clean, I hope the others are having better luck."

Mr. Toad overhears the parrot and all the commotion, but rather stay around and chat with the Redhead.

How are these clues being passed on to people?
Like how did Kaa know that Jasmine was dead in the ride?
I am insanely confused... can someone who can make sense of this to me PM me please?
I wanna participate but I also don't wanna throw a wrench in the gears when I do :)
 
Aurora walks down into the loading area, She spies Kaa and approaches him, and asks him to explain, While she attempts to lift him, she is suprised to find that 30 ft of python weights in excess of 400 lbs, and quite by accident <if you believe in accidents> she places Kaas face at eye to eye level with her own.
"Look into my eyesss if you pleassse!!! he quietly singsongs , "Ssstare into my eyesss,"

Aurora raises a hand to shield one eye from Kaa... but he has already caught her gaze.
"Trussst Meee, Trusst meee, " Kaa slowly begins to chant/sing, and in only a few more chants he has worn her down.
"Both eyes if you pleassse!" Her hand falters for just a moment and then falls, a strange glazed look passes over Auroras face and with one last pharase of "Trusst mee"
Aurora stands motionless in front of Kaa, View attachment 4631The constictor considers several means of instructing a lesson in manners to the princess. He could intstruct her that from now on she would cluck like a chicken whenever someone mentions Haunted Mansion. OR an eviler grin then normal passes his countanance , perhaps she should think she is another character for a day. He ponders combination and begins to to laugh louder as he does. At one point he stiffles himself for fear of snapping Aurora out of her trance. Aurora as Coggsworth, Aurora as Smee, even Aurora as one of Mary Poppins penguins.
After just a few moments more Kaa produces the largest grin seen on his face since coming back to the MK. He has found the perfect solution...
He winds his way over to Auroras side and slithers up her side, so his tongue practically tickles the young princesses ear.
"Princesss, you are quick to tread in placesss you ssshould not, moreover I dissspisse humansss who feel they are sssuperior.. Had you sssought me out and assked I would have gladly ssspoken asss a civilissed creaturesss do. But you fail to grant me the mannersss that othersss dessserve... Why? Isss not one princesss dead enough for you? Do you purposssefully put yourssself and othersss in danger by foolissshly russshing intoo a dangerousss scene? Therefore I ssshall bessstow a sssuggesstion into your mind,
Anyone whom mentionsss "When you wisssh upon a ssstar" around you will caussse you to fall into a inssstant sssleep, it will lassst for only 3 minutesss, but durning that time you will neither hear, smell, sssee or tassste anything. Kaa crawls his coils onto the barrel and slaps his tail to the floor with a snap!!
He looks up as Aurora shakes her head and regains her senses.
"Oh princesss you are ssso demanding!! Pleassse let usss go to CL and the other detectivesss ssso that I may explain myssself to everyone!!!

With that the coiled serpent spreads his great length out and slithers towards the group of detectives!!!View attachment 4626

*Still holding the note in his hands, Chessie disappears and reappears back in the boat and hands the scroll over to King Louie, trusting that it will find its way back to the lab for analysis. The Cat then turns to MPH, grinning mysteriously.*

Chessie: 'There is just one problem that comes with not knowing what that stone is or what it does. Any action or inaction we take is an action in and of itself, and since we don't know what that stone is or what it does, assuming we find it first, we may not know if giving or not giving it to this unknown person will be the right or wrong course of action until it's too late and the consequences of that decision already are in motion.'

*Chessie then settles back on his original position at the front of the boat, grinning for no apparent reason whatsoever.*

OOC: Mad_For_Alice, to answer your questions, the clues are being passed on to various players from Wally (tokyodisneydad) via PMs (which is why you should make sure your box is clear to accept messages and check it often). Kaa knew that Jasmine was dead in the ride because Wally/tokyodisneydad (the game host) gave him that information in a PM and asked him to 'find' her. As the game will progress, other players will receive similar PMs containing information for their detectives to 'find'. Unless you have specific information that Wally has asked you to have your character find, the way to play the game is to post 'actions' and 'dialogue' that you think your character would 'do' and 'say' in response to the current circumstances of the game. If you are doing your best to remain on topic with the game and posting in character, I promise that you CANNOT throw a wrench in the gears - and even if you somehow manage to derail the game (which I doubt you can), there are enough experienced players who can help get the game back on track. I hope this helps and let me know if you have any further questions. Just go with the game and have fun - I'm sure you'll be great! :)
 
Gazing forward, Anton Ego finally puts his notepad away. As he begins away from the carpet attraction, he sees a blue butted monkey dive into some nearby bushes. Slowly, he makes his way down the walk to the pirates attraction. Finding no one out front, he sits calmly on a bench just outside the gift shop which has already closed for the evening. Crossing his legs and clasping his hands on the knee on top; he waits....
 
A booming voice breaks Abu's concentration, "What arrrr ye doing ye scurvy Moneky?" which startles Abu to where he nearly jumps out of his skin. Turning around quickly, Abu tries to hide his pilferings behind his back while looking up at a very angry yet amused pirate. Abu tries to explain and show he has nothing in his hands but several coins fall out of his pockets. The pirate roars with laughter and says "Are ye daft? That booty be bogus and nary worth the effort, elst I would have plundered it already".
 
Tink watches all the goings on from above the scene, takes in the clue that Chessie has found, watches as Kaa hypnotize Aurora, Abu pilfering the pirates booty, and Mr toad flirting with the redhead. she shakes her head at all the goofing off going on instead of detecting. she flies down and checks out the parrot and the surrounding area.
 
watching from a distance as aurora begins to fall into Kaa's trance, cater decides not to intervene. Although he doesnt want to see Aurora get hurt, he knows that watching and waiting for the next clue would be wiser

Takes a puff, " hoOoOoW OoOdDDddD"

he begins to think to himself at how strange the murder is playing out and contemplates on who would be able to keep their temper......
 
Basil also takes in all that is going on, makes notations in his journal on the prevalent material, then goes over to sit next to Tink. "We certainly have plenty of extra help, but we should probably help them with the finer points of this case. If people aren't careful they could end up as the next victim." He takes out his pipe and lights it. He also starts to wonder if anything else will transpire this evening as it's been a long day and everyone should get some rest. The following days should be very trying.

*OOC - +1 on what dancecats advised. I was lost early in the first game and needed a bit of help myself. If anyone has not gone over the rules thread, I would recommend reading (or re-reading) as it will help clarify a lot of the questions. Also reading the first game will help show everyone how the game progresses. The game will go on for weeks, so no one needs to feel the need to rush in and solve anything right away. Just follow Wally's leads and the clues and everything will start to become more clear down the road. Also, I would advise against too much improvisation on the clues or anything that Wally writes as it can be confused as "official" information. :)

As Rafiki is hiding in the undergrowth trying to contact Chief Louie, he sees a man with a big nose walking past and not looking very happy about being there. He looks suspicious, I think I'll follow him until I hear from the others, Rafiki then follows the man to the Pirates attraction and sees him sit down outside.

As Rafiki looks as his iPhone he realises that the man is one of his fellow detectives, so joins him on the seat and waits for the others to appear. This man seems to know what is going on so I will stick with him.
 
*Now settled back in his original place at the front of the boat, Chessie resumes searching for anything out of the ordinary while observing the ongoing chaos.*

Chessie (making observations quietly to nobody in particular): 'Abu is pilfering worthless booty, Mr Toad is flirting with the Redhead, and Aurora and Kaa appear to be deeply involved in a conversation, only ... .'

*Chessie's voice trailed off as he noticed that Aurora seems a bit off. Chessie subtly takes a quick look and, noticing Kaa's eyes, quickly figures out what has happened. His only response is to grin wider as he suspects that things are going to get interesting at any time. The Cat doesn't choose to interfere because he understands what Kaa is doing and doesn't believe for a second that Aurora is in any danger. The Cat decides to wait for something to happen, figuring that he won't have to wait too long before it does.*
 
Humming ever so scarily, as seeing a creature of Kaas size and normal demeanor, HUMMING, is fairly scary enough, the constrictor moved across the set to where Louie and the other detectives were.
He looked up at the Chieft quite innocently and reports that no one was seen leaving the area, glances at the note in the bosses hand and asks CL if any new information has been obtained?
In the background he notices several of the other characters suddenly viewing Aurora behind him as she seems to have led him here, and she did say she was going to get him? The reptiles grin becomes even larger when he sees Basil recognizes the tune he was humming.......
"Yesss CL you asssked me to appear to anssswer a few quessstionsss? "
Kaa looks directly at Louie, and like a poker player who just drew an Ace and raises the pot by a huge amount, he smiled,
"ISss there sssomething I can asssisssit you with?"he practically purred?
 
*King/Chief Louie listens to the note and the irritating parrot. He wanders to himself if the stone referred to in the note means the stone statue that Jadis was turned into. He loads up the boat and sits down next to Aurora. She fills him in on her conversation with Kaa, but therreseem to be holes in the story. As the boat approaches the docking area the detectives notice that sun has risen during the time they were in the dark depths of the attraction.

*Louie to Aurora* "My dear if I had one wish upon a star it would be for some sleep."

*Suddenly Aurora tips over leaning on Louies hairy shoulder*

"Yes, exactly like thatmy dear."

We find Chip exiting a backstage entrance next to the La Pirata Restaurant. The soft, warm glow of the rising sun splashes the surrounding courtyard with light, signifying the start of a new day in the Magic Kingdom. He sees Anton and Rafiki sitting in a park bench outside the closed giftshop for POTC. Deciding to wait with them, he proceeds to lean on one of the benches metal legs, his eyes starting to droop from lack of sleep. "I'll have to ask CL about possible security footage, though the security team is already busy dealing with last nights events and preparing for park opening."

*Chief Louie wanting to disembark from the boat gives Aurora a light shake. She doesn't awake and Louie takes it to mean that Aurora likes him more than just as boss.*

"So Aurora dear you like your men hairy I see. You know my to ambitions in like is to be like men and learn the secret of man's red flower. Maybe you can teach me a bit of both."
*Aurora just goes on snoring. Louie being the crazy ape he is doesn't take that as a bad sign. He jsut goes on talking.Suddenly Aurora wakes up and is surprised to find her head lying on Louie's shoulder.*

Louie to Aurora and everyone>>"How about some breakfast? We are done here and till we get some more info it would be a waste of time to run around hoping a clue will just jump out at you. Everyone to the Crystal Palace for a breakfast buffet. I will call ahead to my friend Pooh. I need som coffee and a banana to get me going as the night has passed and we have a longday ahead of us."
 
MPH listens to Chessie but doesn't quite understand what Chessie says. MPH takes a little solace in knowing that most people are confused by Chessie's comments. MPH watches Aurora fall asleep and finds that, and Kaa's comment, odd. MPH to no one in general "There is more chaos amongst the detectives than is necessary. We need to focus on the clues we have and what our next steps should be, rather than our own interests."
 
OOC1*The minimum post count has ended and several detectives to not have made it, but that still needs verifying.



OOC2*I have to apologize for not being able to post today. My daughter's Marching band was doing a charity concert for the earthquake victims and I was helping translate the speeches on stage. It's been a LONG day and I am sleepier than Aurora--lol.

OOC3*Thanks to those for helping answer the question for a newbie. Just to add one more point to what has already been said. There are several ways that people get info from me--answering a trivia, becoming a ghost,being in the right place in the park as your character, being online at the right time. I try to get everyone involved at some point during the game.
 
*Chief Louie has been half listening to KAA explain himself and Jasmine. He decides for now that it is best to keep an eye on his old jungle nemesis.*

"Kaa my friend you just need to watch your step. Oh that's right you can't step..then watch your slither. We all know that you can't be TRUSTed."

*With that the group present heads for the Crystal Palace. Chief sends amessage to those missing to meet the group there."
 
MPH decides that breakfast sounds like a good idea and heads off to the Crystal Palace with the other detectives. MPH passes through the buffet and gets waffles, strawberries and bacon...skipping the hash browns, of course. MPH sits at a table and waits for other detectives to join him so they can start discussing the case.
