MG2:KILLER IN THE KINGDOM--the game starts

*Sitting down in the dining area with their waiter, Louie begins the interview.*

LOUIE* "So what can you tell me? Where did you get this dish that you brought to our table?"

WAITER* "I'm just a waiter. We rarely get special orders, but sometimes people with special requests or diet needs. When we do they put the tray in the pickup area with a number. We just pick it up and take it to the table."

LOUIE* "Did you see anyone or anything unusual?"

WAITER* "No not really. Just the usual crew. ...Wait a minute I did see someone leaving through the back door, but they were dressed as a chef. I would have never noticed, but thought that it was unusual for someone to leave so early. I mean the shift was just starting. "

*Suddenly Louie is called to the kitchen. It seems something has been found.*

LOUIE* "Don't leave I may have more questions."

Tinks eyes widen when she looks at an item on the shelf. She phones for Louie to come asap!! she backs away as she waits for King louie and the other detectives to arrive.

*Chief arrives in the kitchen having been called there by Tink. He goes over to the freezer and opens the door. He can't believe what he sees. He decides to block the door and not let anyone in to contaminate the scene.*

"Tink can you describe what you have found? I will keep anyone from coming in."

After the gruesome revelation of what was in the dish, Basil starts to head for the kitchen to look for any signs of the killer. Before he gets there, the concierge comes into the dining area and walks up to him. "Inspector Basil?", he asks.

"Yes, I'm Inspector Basil."

"An emergency call for you from London. Could you please follow me."

Basil looks back at the scene in the dining area then reluctantly follows the concierge.


After several minutes, Basil returns to the dining area and walks up to Louie. "I'm terribly sorry Chief, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to leave this case as I'm desperately needed in London. Apparently, a group of terrorists in the company of a very tall man who bears a striking resemblance to the recently deceased Osama Bin Laden has been seen in and about the Baker Street area. Since that's where my office is located, I've been called back to help discover the nature of what could be a dangerous plot. I apologize, but I must leave at once. You have a great group of detectives and I know you will crack this case. Please keep in touch."

With that, Basil goes to retrieve his gear, especially a suitcase that was delivered to the room late last night. He takes it to the rooftop and opens it up. It only takes him a moment to assemble his flying devise and he immediately heads for a private airfield, where a plane is waiting to take him back to London.



*OOC - Sorry everyone, but I'm going to bow out this round. Got some RL stuff going on and can't devote the time and concentration I need to get into the story at this time. I will try to keep up with the gameplay as I can and I hope you have a blast. Wally is fantastic at running this game. :bigthumb: I hope to make a reappearance for Round 3. Good luck everyone! Tink stutters as her teeth chatter. Its its. Hhhhhorrrribbble. The scalp issss ggggggone! Itttsss pppooorr rrrraaappppunzzzzeel! Sshhhhheeee. Has bbbbbbbeen ssscccalppppped!. Tink stops as the sight is too much to deal with. Shee looks down at the ground where she sees a few stray blonde hairs and something else.

*Chessie looks up as both King Louie and Tink announce that Rapunzel's remains have been found in the kitchen freezer. Listening to Tink describe the gruesome scene, the Cat can't help but grin anyway.*

Chessie: 'No need to ask if the trail has gone cold then, is there?'

*As Chessie is saying this, he disappears and reappears in the kitchen, closes off the room as a crime scene, and starts looking for clues.*

Tink looks at the blonde hairs on the freezer floor, flies down and picks up a single strand of black hair.
Look, chief, I found a clue!! Tink bags the evidence and hands it to him. at least it was on ice for a bit it will preserve any dna we need for testing.

Pumba heads into the kitchen after Tink's discovery. He is horrified to see what is in the freezer.

"Yuck! Black hair? That is obviously not Rapunzel's"

*Chief Louie takes the evidence bag from Tink.* "I will personally take this back to the lab. I have a cleanup crew on it's way here. We really have to be careful not to panic guests and keep things as normal as possible here in the park. Use the undergraound tunnels as much as possible. Tink finish processing the freezer. Kaa process the kitchen. Chip get those guests debriefed and back in the park for a normal day as soon as possible. Caterpillar and Dodo check out the back exit and see if there are any clues to where our killer may have gone. I know it has been a long night and morning so we can take a break in shifts for those who need it. If you don't have anassignment and need a break the castle suites are ready for guests. As many as possible stay around and help, but tired eyes miss clues easily. I will be in touch and if anyone finds anything please call me." *With that chief leaves the scene with the latest evidence.*

OOC* More info will be sent out soon. We are missing afew detectives. If anyone has to drop out then please let me know.

*Chessie glances up as Tink picks up the strand of black hair.*

Chessie (grinning, but speaking in a mild tone of voice): 'So we've got an active cold case that is developing into quite the hairy situation ... .'

*Chessie's voice trails off as Tink puts the hair in a bag and hands it over to King Louie. He suspects that this crime scene is just about finished and since King Louie didn't give him a specific assignment in wrapping up the kitchen, he decides some rest is in order. The Cat disappears and reappears in the castle suite, but will reappear if needed.*

Aurora was just heading to the kitchen when Tink finds what remains of Rapunzel in the freezer. Aurora is convinced that this is not something she wishes to see. She is glad that they have found another clue and takes out her notebook to add it to the other facts. King Louie hands out assignments and since she was not given one she decides that it would be best to take a break and catch a little bit of sleep. She also wants to check in with the other princesses. Aurora heads towards the castle.

Kevin wakes from her long nap after 3 days of constant chirpping from her 3 chicks to race over to the Crystal Palace to meet with everyone else.

Kevin quickly sneaks in as fast as she can so everyone else only sees a colourful blur wizz by, she heads into the kitchen to peer over Aurora's shoulder for a sneaky peak at what everyone is looking at....she then copies Rapunzels pose inside the freezer to try and cheer people up in this bad situation.

Pumba decides now is not the time to take a rest. The shocking discoveries mean he is wide awake.

"I'm going to stick to the task in hand for now."

With that Pumba looks to see if he can find any further clues.

Rafiki fell asleep on the bench next to the man with the big nose, on waking up he realises that he is alone and that the man has disappeared. Oh no not again, I need to find out where the others are.

Rafiki takes out his iPhone and sees that no one has missed him. Mmm ok now to contact Chief Louie and see where they are and what is happening.

While waiting to for the phone to be answered, Rafiki realises that he is hungry and opens his bag and takes out a mango. Mmm nice and juicy, so delicious.

*King Louie has just finished delegating assignments to the detectives, leaving Chip to inform the guests of the current events. "Yeesh, Disney's going to have a field day and a pretty big retribution for this."

*It is nearly 10 AM. the park having been open for almost an hour. As he accompanies the Manager to the back room, he discusses what may be done to compensate the guests for their ordeal. [The families are already receiving a full refund for their tickets and meals; an unlimited fast-pass good for any attraction or meet&greet during the day; and preferred seating for parades and fireworks. There is actually something we would like to ask which only someone of your expertise can do...] "You want me to do WHAT?"

*We now find Chip on the circle of Main Street, surrounded by children as their families take pictures from the sidelines. He starts to recite a quickly memorized script. "Right now Captain Hook is going to take over the Magic Kingdom unless we find clues to help Peter Pan and Wendy stop him...." The reluctant chipmunk forces a smile, wondering how he ever got roped into being a last minute tour guide for a Disney's Family Magic Tour.

Kevin now leaves the horrific scene and snatches some leftover food and heads out to feed her chicks and will wait for any new information.

Rafiki gets a mesage from Louie to head over to Crystal Palace. Finishing his mango he heads over there to meet up with the other detectives.

When he arrives he finds Chief Louie and asks him to update him on the latest developments. On hearing of the murder of poor Rapunzel, Rafiki is horrified at how her death was discovered.

Mmm I can see a theme here in that the killer is going after Princesses. Has anyone warned the other Princesses?

Tink finishes processing the freezer, turning over the body of rapunzel to the dsi coroner. her end of the work completed she heads back to the hotel for some rest.

Toad needs no sleep. He races off to look for more clues. He drives out of the restaurant, but accidentally runs over Kaaa.
Kaaa screams "OWWWW"
"oops" says Toad as he continues on his way.

All the other detectives look over at Kaaa who know has a huge kink in his body and must slither for the rest of the day with a limp.
"What are you ssssssssssstaring at?"

Receiving no assignment, Anton stand up from his table and begins to head for the exit of the restaurant. He just barely steps to the side as a roadster zooms by, rushing out the doors. Looking down, he now sees a "kinky" snake, hissing in the direction the car.

Hmmmm, it appears you are just "steps" closer to becoming a shish-Kaa-bob.

Stepping over the reptile, Anton heads to the castle.

*Back in the Castle Suite, Chessie lazily opens his eyes from his cat nap as more detectives entered the room.*

Chessie (grinning in welcome): 'Did the crime scene manage to go even colder, or is everyone just dead tired right now?'

*Raising an eyebrow, Chessie settles back and waits, wondering if he'll get an update on the situation.*

"No time to sleep!" Toad proclaims.

He drives over to the castle, but rather than sleeping like the others, he continues his investigation.

"A black hair? hmmmm" Toad ponders "Let me check this out real quick while I'm over here."

Toad drives through the castle and pulls into Snow Whites Adventures. He jumps his car onto the track and starts driving through the attraction.
He stops by Snow White, hops out, and begins to converse with her.

With a suave smirk and wink, Toad says, "Wus good princess?"

Anton Ego enters the Castle Suite and settles down at the small desk that he had originally placed his Typewriter. There's no time for sleep now. He begins his review on the Crystal Palace.
