My best friends nephew is in higher up management at WDW. I just spoke with him. He has confirmed that people are going crazy over this pin thinking it is meant to be from the movie Frozen. It is not. They only put the snowflake pin on the Olaf card as he is a snowman and the pin is just a a Hidden Mickey Cross U Snowflake pin . If that makes sense.
Liam said, it's a spinner and it is a beautiful pin, but definitely wasn't meant to be from the movie Frozen.
So, there you have it from a CM manager that knows. He works within the offices and was crossed u to the park for the holidays. He has one and I told him, now that he has confirmed that it is not from Frozen. I do not want it.
I hope sharing this info helps our Frozen collectors.

Very odd to me, this discussion of what is and what isn't a "Frozen" pin. What if Olaf was on the pin, would that make it a "Frozen" pin. What if Anna and Elsa were on the card instead of Olaf but not on the pin, would that make it a "Frozen" pin. Or do we just all wait for someone's Best Friend's Cousin to proclaim what is, and what isn't. No offense to anyone, but I personally find it an odd way to decide what you will collect or not collect....

It's completely up to the person whether they choose to collect it as a Frozen pin or not. Olaf, Anna or Elsa is not on the pin nor is anything back stamped that states Frozen.

No offense or anything to anyone, but is this debate really an issue? If you like the pin and want it in your Frozen collection, go get it. If not, then don't.

C'mon people.

I've talk to many cm managers and even higher ups and they have tried to tell me on several occasions that the scrapper on their lanyard is real too.

Hi all, I have not been on the forum hardly at all, miss ya all, but I saw this and wanted to throw in my two cents. I totally agree with yo soy , if you like it for your frozen collection then go get it, if you don't ,don't go get it, why does it have to be about that movie to want it so bad, ok compleatest nvm I take it back.if you like it, you like it if you don't, don't. I think its cute, would I put it in my frozen collection? probably not, the hidden Mickeys ruin it for me, I would put it in my christmas pinbag myself, with all my snow pins, if it looks more like a frozen snow flake then maybe I would put it in my collection, to each his own , some of you are going to want it in your frozen collection some of you aren't , it's as easy as that.

The funniest part to me is that if it is not a "Frozen" pin you will be able to get it for next to nothing, but if it is a "Frozen" pin people will pay $100. for it...

Why would you not want it still? If for no other reason than to add a nice looking pin to your collection?

Seriously.

And yeah, if you only want it BECAUSE you think its super-rare-omega-valuable, no-one-can-get-it, and its from the new "hype" movie, what does that say about your collecting habits? I'm not targeting this at any individual, but more the pin collecting community as a whole.

I'm sick of people beating each other out and up for "rare" and "valuable" pins, most of the time from things that they don't even collect!

Collect what you like, from what you love.
If you don't collect that thing, why do you feel the need to undercut others who do?
If you don't love the movie, why do you need to be a "completist"? To have that one rare pin? Is this a popularity contest?

They are pins. Its YOUR collection, and no one else's. Period~

You know me Mike, I usually don't get involved, but this conversation has gotten so ridiculous to me.

I understand, I love Frozen and even I'm getting tired of this discussion.
I'm gonna put a whole crapload of those hidden mickey snowflakes in my Frozen collection just to annoy people.

I remember seeing a photo of someone's Wreck it Ralph collection and they added some random cherry pin because it look liked the cherries from the Pac Man game. Not a Wreck it Ralph pin at all but you know what? It looked great in the collection and it showed some imagination.

If people wanna debate this pin to death, I say "Cross U!"

It comes on a card with a character from the film as well as the title of the film on the card, that would seem to indicate some sort of association with the movie. Just me though...
