The wife and I decided to convert our computer room into a Pin Display room. Here are some pics so far.

I'll have to add close up pictures later. I love being able to see all the pins the whole family collects. It brightens my day just to walk in there. Brings back all the good memories.

just great..i like the frame on the big board, and how everything is balanced....it can get very cluttered looking when displaying pins if you're not careful--great job

Thanks everyone for the comments. We are having a great time decorating the room. We are all fighting over who gets what frame to decorate and who gets room on the big board. Lol. This has been one major task. We started by ripping out the carpet and filing the floors and painting the room. It is our first DIY project where the whole family is involved. I have two daughters who are helping with decorating. My mother-in-law has even helped by donating some old Disney lunch boxes.

I like the idea of making your own board! That way you get it exactly how you want it. We have started a few boards but haven't decided where we want to display them yet.

Hi Stacey...just responding to DPA welcome. its been 29 hrs since i traded my last pin.............

My kids are 16 and 19(two girls) and I was able to get my oldest daughters boyfriend involved in pin trading. I know it's a miracle that we found a hobby( addiction) we all enjoy. I feel absolutely blessed that we can share this as a family. Surprising enough no one collects what the other collects. There sometimes is overlap, but we all look out for each others collection. It wound up being a great family hobby. My health has been bad and pin trading brought us closer together.

We bought the brackets from ikea. They are regular shelf brackets answer modified them for the corners and cut the wood in a triangle shape to fit I the corners. I will get pictures of them when I get home, I am on vacation and will be back at the end of week.
