Hi Mr Flynn. I'm not sure if you are aware of who I am, but I have been following the recent events on the grid and I have been in contact with your friend, Alan Bradley. At this point, I'm afraid that I can't be of much help, but I can tell you that Alan and Sam are attempting to figure out if anyone else has used the computer you are on, and if so, who that person is. So far, all analyses have yielded inconclusive results, but I'm reasonably certain that they aren't giving up.

In the meantime, try to stay safe out there.

Ha ha ha. Is that why the rum's gone? ;) I don't drink very much, though.

Anyway. Kevin and I finished the map. I'll explain a few things on it.

You'll notice there's two portals on the map. The "Secondary Portal" is where Mr. Flynn came in on the data storage device my dad brought him over on. The "Portal" is where I came in via the digitizing laser at Flynn's Arcade. The red X's are where explosions happened. The "Corrupted Data Facility" is exactly what it sounds like. Whatever is going on here, it seems to be targeting the crystallographs - the data storage. Something or someone wants to corrupt all the data on this grid - which might mean there's something to hide, and that we have to find it before it GETS corrupted.
 
The corrupted facility was a result of E. Dillinger, or so we are pretty sure. They think the secondary portal existed at all because of the 'Corrupter", and that he's been using it as a kind of back door.

Users! If we could shut down Encom's access to the White Grid in some kind of DOS procedure we could make sure they can't get back in here, and we can keep this corruption from spreading. Email Login.User.Alan.One@gmail.com for instructions- we're old pros at this- and tell him that the White Grid's IP is 69.231.225.0 . He can give you directions from there! Jet and I are going to work on coding an antivirus here and attack it from the inside. If that fails, you all might have to help Sam and Alan find something they can send in to help!

By the way, has anyone heard back from Roy? I'm starting to get worried.

Sent word to Alan, and still no news from Roy. Alan said he is sure he is fine but the fact he isn't responding to emails is making me start worrying let me know anything I can do to help.

Hey everyone,

Latest I got was yesterday Alan said Sam is working on hacking the IP and he will be checking security to see it he can block out Encom from Encoms own server. Also Alan said not to worry about Roy he is sure he is ok.

Did you do the latest thing Kevin asked, about the IP thing and Emailing Alan? I heard back from Alan when I emailed him yesterday.
 
Thanks Constance. You're right! On second reading, Kevin's call was to the Users, plural. I sent Alan an email with the information. I also see that Hapa has posted an update. Will wait for further instructions.

I sent Alan what you guys said AND the map, hopefully this can help with something.

Kevin, Alan says NOT to worry about Roy. He spoke with him in person just yesterday!

Alan has told me that he has received the IP info.

Ok everyone, here's what's up. Jet and I have been working on a way to suppress Encom's access to the Grid here. Trouble is? It seems to BE an Encom Grid, like someone took the original Encom Grid and re-mapped it and then upgraded everything, the source code is pure Encom, so I am pretty sure we can't block them out from in here. However, if Alan manages to block them AT the HQ then he might be able to really stop them.

I hate to say it? But it looks like E. Dillinger is this Grid's MAKER.

Jet is working on tapping into E. Dillinger's files and seeing what he can do about things. If the rest of you could email Alan this info that would be awesome.

Jet and I are having a hard time making even this connection, so bear with us. The White Grid is being heavily watched, I can guarantee you this.
 
Kevin I just got this email. Little concerned about this. Has anyone else gotten this email from Encom yet?:

Dear 'Users',

It has come to our attention that you are meddling in the private affairs of Encom employees. We suggest you cease this immediately, or we at Encom International will be forced to intervene. We here at Encom International have dealt with you 'do-gooder' types before, and let me tell you the last batch of "flynn lives" rebels saw little success in furthering Flynn's cause. Stop now, and spare yourself the futility of attempting to aid Kevin Flynn and Jet Bradley.

Kevin Flynn has long been a thorn in the side of Encom. We suggest thinking your alliance with him through before persisting.

I also received this email. How could Encom even catch on to the fact that we're helping Kevin and Jet out? Mr. Flynn, how should we proceed?
 
This is rather odd. I haven't tried contacting Alan yet. After Kevin's post before mine he said they were having issues connecting. I had a bad feeling about that then I got the email and knew it was them doing this to Kevin and Jet.

Constance: Perhaps they have been tracking our emails to Alan and decided that they had enough with us trying to help Jet and Kevin.

I also have received an email from a sender listed as 'Encom Daemon' and the subject matter simply is 'Flynn Lives.' I haven't read it yet; I usually don't open emails from unknown senders and, in this case, I wouldn't open this one in case it contained a virus or tracking program. In this case, I'd imagine it's the same email everyone else got ... which is strange, considering that I haven't contacted Alan since that one time - and haven't made any attempts since.
 
Oh man, this is seriously no good. How on earth did they even find you all to contact you? Totally not cool.

Connection is awful today, but it looks like we can reach a few other places on the internet. Will let you know what's going on, and if Jet and I can contact easier from other hotspots.

Thanks for letting me know, I'll look into the remote accessing issue asap. As for the virus, if dad can get the coding to me then I might be able to figure out something to uninfect them with Alan's help. If only it was me in there instead of Jet, he's way better at this stuff than I am.
